Posted .Hello VincentM, Thank you for writing this review. We are sorry that you are experiencing challenges with the fit. The Jabra Elite 4 Active was designed to fit most ear sizes and shapes. We appreciate that you have tried all of the provided ear gels supplied with the Elite 4 Active to find the best fit. With some trial and error, most users are able to find a secure and comfortable fit for the earbuds, and it is rare when a user is not able to find a fit that is right for them. In the meantime, if you have not already, we hope that you will consider mixing and matching ear gel sizes. This may help as no two ears are exactly alike. The earbuds will also need to be twisted into the ear canals to create a proper seal. We want to ensure that you are having the best experience possible with your Elite 4 Active. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-4-active/100-99180701-98/contact-support.

Works fine, no issues
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The buds are working well with no issues. The sound is not the most amazing, but it's fine. The distance for bluetooth isn't very far, but it's easy enough to just make sure I either bring my phone with me or leave the buds by the phone.

Poor sound quality.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is absent with these. I like to listen to music while I'm in the office. I wanted something that wasn't obnoxious while working, but was actually pleasant; these only fit the not obnoxious. I was not able to test the voice with these yet on the VoIP Phone App for work, but for listening they are horrible.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as happy as hopped for as I seem to be having some inconsistencies. From using daily have had Three days where the right pod battery discharges at an extremely fast rate 100%-0 in 2 hours when just listing to low volume music. Then there is dropping of signal, that has happened a handful of times. I use these to help me fall asleep so the volume is not high nor am I using in phone mode. Otherwise I like them, comfortable decent sound. Debating on taking them back….

Good but could have been better
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Likes battery life, comfort, mid and high reproduction. Dislikes low end and pairing. Overall these a good earbuds. The battery life is good and the sound ok. The low end is a bit lite but overall good sound reproduction. I did find them very comfortable, I wore them for 8 straight hours with no issues. The change last about as long as advertised. The only major problem I had was getting them to pair the first time however after that they paired once they were turned on.

High-end sound without the high-end price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I'm very impressed with the Jabra-Elite 4 earbuds. There's so many great features to them they are truly "elite" ear buds, while being 'middle of the pack' in price. They charge with the standard USB-C cord (included) and are very fast to charge completely, while having a great battery life when fully charged. The package claims 28 hours--I haven't used them that long, and I'm one that plugs in things to charge 'just in case' so I will probably never get a chance to see if they actually last that long on a charge. The case is truly one of the smallest cases I've seen for a pair of ear buds. It easily fits into a pants pocket without being bulky or uncomfortable. My favorite feature is all the indicator lights on the case and on each individual bud. They are tiny, yet maybe the brightest lights I've seen on any device this small. It is easy to tell at one glance if they need to are fully charged, paired, need to be charged, etc. I'm red-green colorblind, and apparently they accounted for that, as the green light is easy to see and tell that it's green, even for me. There are three sizes of pads included so I had no trouble finding a size that helped them stay seated in my ear without being uncomfortable. As with any earbuds I didn't feel 100% secure that they'd stay in no matter what I was doing, but they feel more secure than most that I've used. The devices are almost entirely plastic--which makes them light-weight, almost to the point that it makes them fell less secure. They also don't get as 'uncomfortable' as quickly as heavier pairs I've used, so it's a bit of a trade-off. I'm sure the material used helps keep the costs down as well. The sound quality is really fantastic for such tiny devices. Most impressively is the bass really sounded deep and rich. They aren't quite up to high-end over-the-ear headphone sound, but they were much closer than I expected. The controls are on the earbud (or you can use the app, or your paired device's controls) and, like all such controls, I found them to be tricky, but not too tough to get the hang of. My hands tend to be a little clumsy with tiny devices, so finding the right touch for adjustments is something I've never been great at, though it was a little easier than most devices of this type. I was especially impressed with the call quality. The ear buds immediately pause whenever my phone rings. If there's a way to set calls to ignore and let the music keep playing I couldn't figure it out, but that's a feature I'd like to see on devices like this. Honestly it's probably in my phone setting somewhere and I just haven't figured out where. I've used these for several calls and I'm genuinely impressed that no one even mentioned having trouble hearing me. Testing between my car and these earbuds I was told I was easier to hear with the earbuds! One thing I'd like to mention is how much I appreciate Jabra's dedication to being sustainable. It's nice to find a company that cares, while not using that as an excuse to charge top dollar for their product. They are a company you can feel good about purchasing from (you can read more about this in the 'about us' section of their website). The 'active noise cancelling' feature actually works pretty well--almost as well as high-end over-the-ear type, but not quite. I will have a chance to test this more when I'm using them while I mow the lawn, but being mid-winter I've not had much of a chance to apply 'real-world' uses for this feature yet. It did block TV sounds very well while sitting in a room with a movie playing. There is, of course, an app you can use for several things including pairing the ear buds, checking the charge level and adjusting the sound, and it includes a decent equalizer. It's fairly basic and not necessary if you feel you have enough apps already. I paired them straight out of the case with no issues. The only drawbacks I've seen are minor annoyances at best. I've discovered that if I'm not fast enough taking the buds out of the case then only one will pair, and I'll have to manually pair the other. It's not difficult to do, but still a little frustrating. The other is that they use a 'mute' feature rather than a 'pause' when you need to hear something or have a quick conversation. I'm often streaming sports radio or podcasts, and didn't realize it wasn't pausing until I hit the button again and discovered I'd missed significant portions of what I was listening to. I've taken to pausing the app I'm using instead, but it would have been nice to have them automatically pause rather than just mute the sound. Still, these are minor annoyances that obviously didn't affect my overall score. I'd recommend these earbuds to anyone looking for high-end earbuds without wanting to pay a high-end price.

Better than expected
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 4 Active earbuds are a pretty solid pair of earbuds at a good price point for Active Noise Cancellation. Upon downloading the Jabra Sound + application, not only does it facilitate firmware updates, but it gives users some customizable feature such as equalizer configurations and various levels of Hear Through. This is the first product that I have seen that has allows uses to customize the levels of hear through which allows to get the right amount of background noise for the environment you are in. A long press of the right button allows you to navigate through ANC, HearThrough or None. The buttons are easy to press and which are nice on the ears as you don’t need to apply much force. The Fit was surprisingly good. For not having wingtips, These earbuds feel nice and secure and I don’t fell like they will fall out. Sound quality is pretty. I having been using these earbuds mostly for work video conferences and both sound and mic quality does a great job. With the charging case, even after a week of various work calls, I have not run into low battery issues for my work. Great set of buds whether for calls or being active. Definitely recommend at this price point for the comfort and features.
