They worked great until they stopped

The sound was great and they stay put in the ears no matter how much you move. The battery life is amazing! The only problem was that I’ve had them 8 months and the right bud has shorted out and stopped working. The cheaper ear buds that I’ve had for years (that were cheaper and have shorter battery life) are still going strong so I consider these to be a waste of money. I won’t buy another pair, that’s for sure

    Amazing Noise Cancelling Feature

These Jabra earbuds are my favorites. I like how they charge in the case when not in use without having to be plugged in. I also like the fairly easy controls for volume, forward, etc. The most amazing feature, that can be turned on and off, is the noise cancelling. I put the earbuds in, played a YouTube video, and asked my husband to talk. I could see his mouth move, but could not hear ANYTHING. They fit well, are easy to put in and have great sound quality. I would give the comfort factor 4 stars instead of 5 for anything over an hour, but I usually don't like having any earbuds in that long. Overall, the best pair of earbuds I own.

I want to like these. Jabra made them extremely well. The ANC is really nice, and I do like how it has more configuration than just ON/OFF. The app works well, and not only lets me find my earbuds but has a lot of configuration options and a good update service that works smoothly. The sound quality is pretty nice as well, and music stays detailed even at low volume. They fit in my ears without constantly falling out, and the way they fit doesn't hurt my ears like some other earbuds. My favorite thing about them is that they have physical buttons instead of touch sensors, so you have to actually squeeze them to issue a command. This cuts down on volume changes from adjusting them in my ears or whatever. They even have mostly recyclable packaging with minimal plastic. There's just one problem. Occasionally, while using them, they make my ear canals start itching; and that is a truly horrible sensation. I can't even pop the earbuds out and scratch it. Since no other earbuds have done this, I can't overlook that.

I just upgraded from another set of Jabra Elite buds that were not "active." I liked them fine, but they did fit a little looser and could fall out in certain positions, and they also had this annoying thing where sweat would get past the tip and into my ear. This new pair solves both of those issues. They sit back farther inside my outer ear, or to put it another way, they have a lower profile. This both helps them stay in when other pairs might fall out, and it keeps them out of the way when my arms are up beside my head. They're less likely to be inadvertently knocked or brushed out of my ears. They also don't channel sweat into my ears like the old pair. They still have great sound and noise cancelling. I would consider them perfect if the case was also able to charge wirelessly. It's not a huge inconvenience to plug them into a USB cable, but I really miss the convenience of just being able to pick up the case and set it back down on a charging pad.

    Decent headphones!

These headphones seem to meet expectations for the price and description given. I am very pleased with the sound quality, no matter what music or movies I listened to, it sounded excellent. The stock sound settings were already pretty good, but I absolutely love the equalizer options in the app. These headphones in combination with the Jabra app give by far the most amount of equalizer setting options I have ever seen headphones have. Speaking of the app, the app is also probably the best headphone app I have used to date. And another added bonus is the different noise canceling options. I used these headphones during a few different workouts at home and at the gym. I was using a pretty loud device at home and the noise canceling blocked 98% of the noise I was making. And at the gym I could not hear any background noise at all so I am very pleased with the noise canceling feature. Unfortunately though, these headphones do have some cons. For me they just never felt comfortable in my ear. I tried the three different size cushions it comes with, tried putting them in at all different angles. Nothing I did made them feel comfortable, or completely stay in place. Even when just standing still these would slowly slide out, so while working out I was constantly readjusting them and shoving them back in. I am hoping I am one of the few who experienced this problem because these really are nice headphones with the exception of the comfort and constant falling out. I also noticed the battery life was not that great, my phone tells me the battery percentage and it seemed to drop faster than other headphones I have used. I only use the headphones for 1-2 hours at a time so it is not a big deal, I can charge between uses. However if someone is planning on wearing these all day during work or something else, they may end up dying before the end of the day.

Nice set of true wireless earbuds!

Jabra has been around for quite a while and they seem to make very good products that are more affordable than some, with probably just as good or better quality and design. With all the true wireless earbuds that I have gotten over the years, my favorite set are made by Jabra (Elite 75T). The Elite 4 Active falls in line with what I have come to expect from Jabra. Although these are not the top level of this new Elite Series, they work quite well. The sound quality is very good, although it is just a little light on the bass (especially compared to my Elite 75T), but only by a little (even after setting the equalizer the way I normally do in the Sound+ app - Be sure to download and install that app in order to customize the earbuds as much as desired, and also helps find them if misplaced). Overall, listening to music is enjoyable. For calls, everything sounds clear, and I haven't heard any complaints that I couldn't be heard. The design is similar compared to previous models for the part that sits in the ear and are quite comfortable to wear. One thing I've noticed is that they do stay put in my ears a little better (I have trouble with the right one of the 75T, no matter which size eargel I've used). While I may not do a lot of exercising with them in, I will normally wear earbuds when working out in the yard, and would prefer they do not fall out when I bend down to pick up something. The outward-facing part is a little different, moving away from the more circular look to rounded-corner triangles, but are just as easy to grip (unlike some of the other brands I have tried) and maneuver. I do like that they stayed with real buttons instead of tap/touch (which I've had issues with making sure to get the double/triple touch done correctly). They have a protection rating of IP57, so pretty much water and sweat proof. The charging case is their typical clamshell with magnetic closure. It is smaller than most cases, although it is a tiny bit bigger than the 75T. I've like their case design the most as the earbuds are really easy to remove and they stay in place magnetically. One improvement, if only a slight change, is that they moved the charge-remaining LED (that lights up when the case is opened) from the back to the front, so no longer need to turn it around to see how much is left. The case has about 3 extra full charges worth, so along with the 7 hours in the earbuds, there are 28 hours total. Feature-wise, the Elite 4 has most of the normal items that are expected, such as Active Noise Cancellation and their "HearThrough" (the mics pass through the surrounding sounds). But, it also does some things a little differently. They have "Mono mode" that allows either earbud to be used by itself (the 75T only allows the right one to do that). It also has a Sidetone, which it sends your own voice in on a call (I turned that off as it also picks up other sounds in the room). One thing that is missing is Bluetooth multipoint, which I use with my 75T to connect to my tablet and work computer at the same time (as I use both for taking online meeting calls) and like that I don't have to keep switching connections. This feature is now available for the Elite 7 Active & 7 Pro, and I hope at some time they bring it to the Elite 4 Active. These are a great set of true wireless earbuds, full of features at a decent price. Definitely take a look when searching for your next set of true wireless earbuds!

Jabra - Elite 4 Active: Good earbuds for the price

Good earbuds for the price. There are five sizes of the in-ear rubber pieces, but the default ones fit me just fine. They are light and music and phone calls sound good, but a bit tinny. The entire earpiece is made to fit in the ear, so they are a bit tight to me, but managed to fit and stay in place.

Connect easy, battery great They have a tendacy to fall out. I'm over water a lot so it is a concern. Phone is good. Music is good. Noise cancelation in my opinion is weak. I have never used buds before, so it is annoying when taking you hear your self. I end up taking them out when talking to people. Dont blame the buds. The push on and off i dont like. You need to grab the bud and press firm. Cant do that with bike helmet. Homing for a press on, off touch.

Elite 3 were better, for me, but these are good

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I purchased both the elite 3 and elite 4 active. The Elite 3 fit my ears MUCH better, im 6’4’ with large ears. The 4’s simply wouldn’t stay secure with jaw movement no matter which tips I used. The Elite 3s “disappeared” in my ear and stayed put. After using the app EQ adjustments, the 3s sounded better and had significantly more bass output. The 4s do have more bass output than most earbuds, but the 3s are just a level ahead. Losing the ANC from the 4s wasnt worth the price difference, and dealing with a worse fit. For the money, if these fit your ears, and youre not a bass freak like me, youll probably be really happy with them.
