Amazing Call Quality!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 45e is an amazing set of earbuds. I was initially excited about using them for working out, but they are so comfortable, and the sound quality is so good on calls, I started using them for work. I primarily work on the phone or using Skype or MS Teams to make calls. These paired eaily with my computer, and they have enough juice to make it through an entire days worth of calls. Several of the people on calls I have been making have asked if we upgraded our phone system or something, as the call quality is excellent. Working out, the Elite 45e earbuds perform excellent, staying in place in my ears, and the wire isn't a nuisance like it is with some similar earbuds. Overall, I love these earbuds, and they will remain a valuable part of my office.

Disappointing headphones!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high expectations for the Jabra Elite 45e Bluetooth headphones, but unfortunately those expectations were not met! There are some positives here: the headphones easily paired with my iPhone, no problem there. The buds/wings were quite comfortable and stayed in my ears. The cons: weird packaging. Pull tab after pull tab, cardboard within cardboard; no luxury box here. The wire was too bulky around my neck, and uncomfortable with too many controllers - 3 of them hanging on the wire - I didn’t know which one to use for what. With the Jabra app, you can adjust the sound with the equalizer yet the sound was still missing the highs and lows I’m looking for. Big miss - if you don’t have great sound, you don’t have great headphones. An attraction for me was the idea of an assistant built in. That’s just not what these have - your assistant depends on your phone (with Alexa “coming soon”). My iPhone assistant was of course Siri. That is not a selling point - other headphones allowed me to access Siri. A “feature” is being able to hear your own voice through the headphones when on the phone or talking with Siri. I didn’t care for this loud voice in my ear - I know what I’m saying. This option, fortunately, can be turned off. There are some good features here... but If you’re looking for great headphones... keep looking. These are definitely middle of the road.

Great sounding around the neck wireless ear buds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sound very good. You have to install an app on a smart phone to set them up. They are advertised as Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, but as of this review, the Amazon Alexa is listed as "coming soon" in the app, so it only has Google Assistant after pressing a button on the ear buds, so its not really that different from most wireless ear buds with call function at the moment, when it has Alexa access, that will be a bit different, and welcome. They have really good sound and if you use the app, you can play with an equalizer to change the acoustics. I like the semi stiff neck band, that keeps shape, but is not rigid.

Good Sound but Poor Microphone Placement
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the challenges of wireless headphones is to determine where to put the control module. It adds weight and bulk that for the most part, is unecessary. Many of the controls on this module can be handled by almost all phones and music devices. How many users acutally answer the phone via these devices? However, manufacturers feel they need to add all these functions which tend to get in the way. Is the case of the Jabra Elite 45e, the microphone module is very high on the right side. I tend to run mostly at a highger pace (7:00 - 8:00 per mile) so the microphone module constantly taps me on the side of the face when I run. It's light but very annoying. If you tend to do lighter activity, you would probably not have this issue. As far as sound, these headphones do a nice job covering all range of sound. Ultimitely, if you are doing light activity or workouts, these headphones would suffice and I would recommend them.

Great sound and long battery life!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These in-ear headphones integrate with my iPhone and android devices better than any I've used in past! The sound quality is great and the battery life far exceeds expectations! Add to the fact that they're water resistant and the neckband retains it's contour so it's not flopping around...it's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for premium sound.

Good sound. Not comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was amazed at how well these earbud sound. It has a good deal of bass without being too muddy. It was easy to pair with my device, and the voice assistant is a nice touch. My only gripe is comfort. They are not comfortable to wear at all. The rubber chord is very stiff, and it forces the chord to rest against my cheek bone. If it doesn’t loosen up over time, this will be a deal breaker for me.

Finally clear sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my new favorite set of buds. ( caveat) When you remove and throw away the ear tips that come with it and have a device with bluetooth5.0. Now put on the large memory foam tips that fit the Jaybirds and use them no less than 16 hours (any quality speaker needs to break in) you will then get one off the best sounding full range multilayered musical performances you have ever gotten from a bluetooth headset bar none. I know that's saying a lot but it just has such depth and complexity. I attribute that to the large drivers and maybe the 32 ohm resistance they chose. Not an expert but the combination is odd but it works. I have my Jaybird X3s to compare to and it is close but these with the 5.o and the X3s using "aptx " they are just more well rounded. You will also get the best phone call experience you can get. It is even better than talking straight into the phone even with the window down at 45 mph. I don't know what to say other than wow. Jaybirds are louder but these are even punchier than the Jaybirds in a more crisp way and yes they do put in the low end in a big way. If you have a phone or whatever that doesn't have bluetooth 5.o then your on your own. I don't know if you can get past the loss of information during the compression of the file but maybe so I just don't know . I will say you MUST use the sound+app. It is the only way to update the drivers and they do need the update as of 8/25/18 Awsome product so far. If anything changes I will update.

Unreliable Playback and Non-Existent Customer Supp
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a month of use, the device started automatically pausing whatever media I was listening to or watching with such frequency that the headphones became unusable. This is not an exaggeration; the automatic pausing happens several times per minute. My attempts to use the Jabra troubleshooting guides yielded no solutions, and all my attempts to get help from customer service resulted in auto-reply emails that contained links to the aforementioned useless troubleshooting pages. I've called customer service multiple times on different days, typing in my case number, and it has always resulted in me being put on hold for 10-20 minutes before the call is disconnected from their end. I'm certain their team will reply to this review, but it will be cold comfort. The only positives I have to say about this product are the sound quality is adequate, and I like the helical ear inserts. However, my experience with the technical failures and lack of customer support have given me enough evidence to not only discourage anyone from buying this particular product, but to dissuade anyone from purchasing any Jabra product.

Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones are amazing. The noise cancellation and the ability to talk even in windy conditions is really amazing. When a call comes in, it will tell you who the caller is based on your contact list, I am not sure about businesses calling back or if it is strictly from your contact list, but its nice to know who is calling when you are working and deciding if to answer the call or let it go to voice mail.

Great High Quality Wireless In-Ear Headphones.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones are a great choice for connecting to your Bluetooth device. Right at the beginning I noticed a big difference in the Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones. Every Bluetooth headset I previously used always would connect simply by going to my devices settings and selecting Bluetooth and then tapping on the headsets’ name. The Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones did not work that way. I had to install the Jabra Sound+ app first to connect my Pixel phone to the Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones. My Pixel still did not transmit to the Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones. The Jabra Sound+ app instructed me to then install the Jabra Service app to access total functionality of the complete Jabra experience. Once both Jabra apps were installed, I was impressed with the technology offered. The first command was to install an update to the Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones. After that I was able to control settings of the audio, phone call and assistance variables. I can choose the language for voice guidance, register my headphones, access the user manual, connect to the FAQ page and choose a voice assistant. I can manipulate the equalizer to achieve the music sound of my taste. The Jabra Sound app also gives an icon displaying the battery strength of the Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones. I can also place and receive calls by pressing the multi-function button. The Jabra - Elite 45e Wireless In-Ear Headphones are a nice addition to my listening experience.

As good as the 65e's for less
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid audio quality for music - but you have to select the right ear tips and/or wings. As good on calls as the 65e's that have 3 mics. I use with an iPhone X and works great for itunes Audio as well as spotify

Great for about a month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these as a gift on April 2nd, 2019. They were great – wonderful audio, solid connection, streamlined and ergonomic design – until one humid day, I decided to go for a stroll. Despite what anyone tells you, these things are more sensitive to water than a dog is to a squeaky brake. They started shutting off and disconnecting randomly (at one point, 7 times in 18 seconds) and the wiring or mechanisms (one of the two) got so messed up that the headphones either began conducting electricity through the jugular area of my neck, or they just overheated to a point where they could cause 1st degree burns. This also had a detrimental effect on battery life, cutting it down from its noble 8 hours to a measly 30 minutes, on a good day. I went back to Best Buy and got a replacement pair, and these ones, I was smart enough to get a warranty on. And the same exact thing happened. Humidity caught up with it and it’s now a useless contraption whose only value is measured in the raw components. Overall, they’re great, but just pray that it’s not too humid when you go for a walk. I’ve burned (literally) through two pairs in five months.

Just a Good Battery Life and Nothing Else
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never written a review for anything before, but I had to for these headphones. I'm so disappointed and frustrated with these headphones. I bought these January 7th. They only worked for about 2 weeks. When listening to music they constantly pause and unpause. So often that I can't even listen to a complete song. During calls, they constantly hang up. That's if they're not turning off and on. Tried different things to correct it, including forgetting every other bluetooth device known to my phone and clearing the cache. To no avail. Not worth the money. It does, however, have a long battery life. But that could be from the inconsistency

Love them. Can't stay in ear.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked the product. Well designed, easy to set-up, and amazing, well balanced sound. The only thing is, they don't stay in. Even with the largest wing set, any head movement, like looking down at a document on a desk, would make them loose and fall. I haven't tried other in-ear models, because I was concerned that this would be a problem, and hesitated before buying them. Now, I'm done with this "concept". Nothing but around ear, fully secured in-ear earphones for me. That's really the only way. And since the around ear Jabra model is a step down Vs this one (only 5h battery life), I switched to JBL. Funny thing is, I still preferred Jabra. But at least, I can move my head without loosing my earphones now every 2 minutes.

Posted .Hello Dan0299, We are glad to hear how much you enjoy the audio quality and ease of use of the Jabra Elite 45e. We are sorry to read that you are having this concern with stability. Thank you for trying the different sizes of included ear wings. The flap of the ear wing is actually meant to tuck under the ridge in your ear. (Page 6 of the user manual has a good image to explain it.) We have a video that shows this as well, and at about 45 seconds she inserts them and tucks the ear wing in. We invite you to take a look and we hope that this helps. Thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQd5u6am4QE&t=3s

Turns off too much
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the sound of my music. I also love the fact I can speak commands. The device will turn off without notice. I press the button to either make a command or go to my phone to listen to music and it's turned off. I also wish it would vibrate when call comes in.

Annoying cord makes for unpleasant use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these headphones for the purpose of using them to listen to music while at the gym and for the high quality microphone while at work. The good thing is they are great for those two purposes however the design with the extra long cord made for an unpleasant experience that I was not willing to put up with. Because it is longer than a regular cord (such as the JBL endurance headphones) whenever you move your head from side to side it would push the earphones out of my ear. Unfortunately there is no way around this. Ultimately I returned them and got the Anker Liberty Air 2 headphones which cover all the bases and I love.

Static in Left ear piece
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones fit me amazingly well (I have tiny ear canals), the sound is great, they are easy to pair and use, and the microphone is the best ever. However, I had to return 2 pairs because, for both pairs, the left microphone would randomly start with loud static noise and it got worse. I am giving up on Jabra until they have better quality. I read reviews and this static noise is a real thing for both the 45e and the 65e. I'm sorry about it because I love these headphones

Great for calls
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these specifically for their alleged call quality. I am not disappointed.
