3 pairs over multiple years (Last buy in 2020)

The issue is that after about a year of limited use they barely hold a charge and the hear-through technology now fails. The AirPods cost more and are generally not a good fit but they have lasted longer. After three pairs, I could have stuck with my AirPods and purchased tips from amazon.

I flew back to Bolivia, SA to do volunteer work on 7/28/18. The product was still working perfectly. However, on 8/6/18, I woke up to find the right ear pod would no longer turn on. I reached out to Jabra, as my 14 day return policy with Best Buy was now obsolete. On the call with the CSR, everything went great about replacing until I told him I'm in Bolivia. They will not ship here. They offered to ship it to a US address. I will not, personally, be back in the USA until November 2018. I CANNOT wait this long for the earpods. I invested $175 into these, with the anticipation that I would be able to use it for work. By doing this, I did not spend additional funds on any other earphones. Now, I am without any earphones/pods for work. It just so happens a friend of mine is going back to the USA in a few days. And, I have another friend coming to Bolivia shortly thereafter. Jabra was fine with shipping to someone else. However, they would not ship out the new product until they get the old back in the warehouse so they can work on it. The problem with this is that they may not ship out until after my friend has already left for Bolivia, which STILL means I'm without earphones until November. Which is ridiculous! When I told them I just want a refund, they said they can't do that because it has to go back through Best Buy. And, because I'm past the 14 day period, BB isn't going to issue a refund. So, I'm just stuck without earphones and $175 for who knows how long.
