|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The new Jabra elite headphones are nice quality built headphones with battery life that is equal or better than its peers. But there’s one thing that knocks them down to me, you can’t use the left one without the right one. To some that may not be a big deal, but if you use them to talk on the phone it might for you. I have one of their competitors and if I’m talking on the phone and say I’m using just the right ear bud and it starts to die, I put it back in the case to charge and switch to the left one. That is a feature I love and to me personally a huge oversight on Jabras part. With that out of the way I think the headphones are really nice, and would have no problem recommending them to someone that doesn’t mind that. The sound quality from the calls is excellent, from both ends, the person I talked to said the sound was clear and free from any kinda echo. The music quality I would say is good if not short of great. Overall I think they are solid competitor in the segment. Pros- Battery life Sound quality Audio controls on the headphones Well built Easy setup Cons- Left headphone cannot be used alone

From the get-go it would sometimes not hold a charge. I'd chalk it up to me forgetting to charge it at some point. until i plugged the case in to charge and it showed it was already near full, despite the ear buds having been dead for a whole day now. It's just the right ear bud according to the lights described in the manual. The light on the inside shows green, indicating that the ear buds are fully charged. until you close and reopen it then it turns either yellow or red because the right ear bud doesn't actually have any charge... the light on the outside spent a curious couple of minutes turning from green to yellow and back to green. I'd love my money back for receiving a 50:50 adequate/useless product, but apparently my return window has expired. i'll be contacting the manufacturer.
