    Just as good as Airpods

    Posted .

I have tried wireless earbuds from Apple, Samsung, Bose, JBL, and Sony and these are the best overall right now. The Airpods had the crown and are still great but these are better. Here are the highlights: 1. 5 hour battery life per charge is best in class. My Airpods last 3 hours per charge. 2. Sounds quality is top notch thanks to the app and adjustments you can make. 3. These are the loudest wireless earbuds I’ve tried. Airpods have more bass but aren’t as loud. 4. Comes with compact charging carrying case but it’s not as small and easy to carry as the Airpod case. Bottom line...these fits great, sound great, and battery life for earbuds. AirPods were the best but these have the #1 spot for now with better sound and better battery. AirPods are first generation and these are 3rd generation so the improvements over time are noticeable.

    Best I've tried

I have purchased and returned both Jams and JVC Free headsets. The Jams were Junk, The JVC Free sounded ok but had serious connection problems between the two ear pieces, it kept dropping the left ear sound and made them unusable. Now these Jarbra Elite 65T units are great, they sound great, not a single drop out, great App to adjust sounds. Just make sure you use the largest ear bud piece you can comfortably fit. It really helps with the bass response. 100% satisfied after months of frustration. Through all this Best Buy has been awesome, I bought the two year protection plan and it has paid for itself, very easy no questions when returning the first two junk headsets.

They actually stay in my ears! -Great battery life with a nice/compact charging case. It was a little difficult to open the case for the first time, but it has worked perfectly after I figured it out. -Phone App works well Cons: -None

Good Sound Quality, but some connectivity issues

The Jabra - Elite 65t headphones have really good sound quality, plus they look pretty cool. I did a test phone call outside during windy weather conditions and found that there the person on the other end was able to hear me well, but I was getting lots of wind noise, making the call hard to hear. I wish they would've found a way to remedy this issue, but no. Something else that I liked about the Jabra - Elite 65t headphones/app was that you are able to fine tune the audio via the app. I really like this feature, and wish that more headphone manufacturers would include this in their headphones. I'd say that a very common problem with these headphones is connectivity/pairing with each headphone, being that they are completely wireless. I found that the left earbud would often lose audio and it would take a restart to remedy the issue very often. I really hope that they can come up with a better solution to the 100% wireless style headphones. Aside from this issue, the Jabra - Elite 65t headphones sound great, look great, and are comfortable to wear.

These are the best wireless earbuds I’ve ever used. Sound is amazing and rivals the B&O E8’s and the fit is perfect unlike the Jabra Elite Sport from last year which I had to return. And best of all? Absolutely ZERO audio lag when watching videos!! Only tried the Netflix and Amazon Video apps so far but it’s been perfect!

After a lot of research and watching video reviews of True Wireless Earbud Headphones I purchased the Jabra - Elite 65t True Wireless Earbud Headphones. I use daily at work or at the gym cardio or weightlifting and the clarity is incredible. They fit very well and are comfortable over a long period of wearing always staying in place. I use with the IPhone X and the Apple Watch and they pair seamlessly without loosing the connection.

Disclaimer: I received these for free in exchange for my free and honest review I way underestimated these babies! The noise cancelling is phenomenal, the fit is comfortable, the sound is great, and the bluetooth connection is awesome! I took these to work and was able to block out the chatter of my co-workers, and when I tested the strength of the connection, I was able to walk 2 rooms away from my phone and the connection never wavered! The only thing that I wasn't a complete fan of was the phone call quality - the person I called reported some tinniness on the line, which I also heard a bit of, but it was not bad enough to drop the rating from 5 stars

Jabra Got It Right - Great Sound & Convenience

These are the most user-friendly, convenient, easy to use earbuds I've come across yet, and I've used a lot. Completely wireless, no wire connecting the left and right earbuds like other models I've used. They come with a carrying/charging case that fits in the palm of your hand and can easily and comfortably slip in your pocket, and the case charges them. What could be easier? I'm a runner so this convenience for me is fantastic. I had no problem pairing them with my Android phone, and the sound is great too!

So these have turned out to be great.Honestly i love everything about them. I had tried several others that sound good with music but i watch videos and the lag was way more then I could handle. There is absolutely no lag with the audio on videos. apps tried on was prime video, netflix, and youtube. Honestly the only reason why I am giving 4 stars is because there is room for improvement. The Jabra app I feel could use a little more to interface with. They are fairly comfortable to wear all day. The battery is smaller then some of the others out there but I haven't had any issues with it. The carrying/charging case is well built and stays shut. I hope this review helps anyone looking like I was. You won't be disappointed, I'm not

These earbuds are just perfect for everyday use, including biking. The commute feature provides balance to listen to his music but still hear traffic and all the important things going on around. Such a great feature! The earbuds are super comfortable with amazing sound and a long battery life. (I received this complimentary product for review purposes.)

I have tried almost every wireless buds. Airpods, gear x, focus, Bose. I happened to see these on sale for labor day. $129.99. Brought them home with low expectations. Opened the box and put them in my ears. Pressed the power button and opened the bluetooth settings on my Note8. Pressed the pair option and I was connected. At first the experience was just "ok." Then I downloaded the jabra app and that made a HUGE difference. I was able to customize the sound quality, the passthrough, and other personal settings. I also downloaded the firmware update that was accessed through the same app. Now my experience is awesome. I made a call to the same person I call whenever I get a new headset, or earbuds. They said I sounded as good as if I was just using the phone. (There are 2 mics on each bud). If there was a con to report I suppose the fit takes a little getting used to but once they are settled you dont have to take them out for anything due to the passthrough feature. The buds definitely stay in place unlike the airpods which are my second favorite but I was tired of them slipping out when I perspired. I dont give too many reviews but this one deserves my 2 cents.

    Disappointed

Good design, excellent sound, high-capacity battery, convenient fit. BUT, this device is NOT for phone calls, because other party will hear you only, if you are alone in your bedroom. All external sounds and street noise will be heard by other party much more loudly, than your own voice. Even 4 microphones, declared by Jabra, can't resolve this. So, these earbuds are really good for running, cycling, workout, even listening music during subway commute, but not for phone calls.

Ok so I've only had these for a bit but compared to my airpods these things are hands down just better. Still testing out battery life but so far no complaints. My biggest worry was the headphones connecting to my MacBook as others said it couldn't but I have a 2015 model and as soon as I put the headphones in pairing mode the laptop picked them right up and I was Golden. The best part is they can be connected to my phone and MacBook at the same time so switching from music to meetings on the laptop is a breeze. Definitely something I couldn't do smoothly on the airpods without going into settings and trying to get them to disconnect first then reconnect to the next device. These I just hold the right button on right headset and Bam..done. so nice and I'm no audio junky but for me these do more than enough.

The best all around wireless earbuds

I will keep this short. Battery life: Excellent, consistently hits the advertised 5 hrs. Connection quality: Never any drops and no audio lag that I have noticed, even on YouTube. Sound quality: These are not over the ear headphones. With that being said the sound is full and nothing is muddy. Equalizer works well. Bass is punchy. These get loud. Great sound overall. Build quality: Top notch and nothing to complain about. If you have trouble opening the case just lightly squeeze the top lid and pull up. Summary: All features that are advertised work well. I am using an LG V40 ThinQ. These are only ever connected to this device. Pairing is a breeze. The app works well but it can take some getting used to. If you are on the fence about these don't be. I spent 2 months racking my brain on what to get and these are seriously worth the money. Find the best price and go for it. Don't waste your money on the other brands.

    New Package Same ol’ Blue”s”-tooth.

My experience with Bluetooth accessories goes back around 15 years when I was the first in my office to get a cordless headset. Over the years these accessories always promise big and deliver well short. These Jabra buds provide the exact same experience. I’ve owned my set for about a week now. Pro’s: love the design aesthetic, love the sound (when they work), hulk like battery life (seriously it’s crazy) Cons: phone call quality (blaghhhh, same garbage as always, “I can barely here you”, “are you there?”, “what’s that crackling noise”. Seriously people it’s been a decade or longer the due date for garbage voice quality is over. Cons, ctd, left bud drops CONSTANTLY, the software is too stupid for an auto recovery. So I have had to execute multiple ways of manual recovery. 1. Removing them is ALWAYS a must. 2. Placing them back in their case for a full reset, sometimes this works, and sometimes it doesn’t. 3. Performing a complete repairing. Cons ctd., the app is basically worthless. I’ve messed with sound settings a couple of times, but every time you take the buds out the app completely resets all of the customized settings you bothered to enter. So EACH session requires re-customizing, after the third session I have completely give up on the “app” because it’s garbage. I have gone through all the big names at this point; Bose, Jaybird, Jabra. New package, slightly better overall operation, but really indistinguishable between the brands. Worth it?, sometimes yes, sometimes no. I use them daily and will continue to work around the issues, but folks don’t get swooned with all the fancy marketing word salad. These buds need to be managed. Keep your fingers

    Compact, Powerful Earbuds

When I opened up the package and saw the earbuds and their small charging case, I was amazed how compact everything was. You can easily slip the case into your pocket and you'd hardly notice it. There aren't any wires to worry about, and they fit snugly in my ears so I haven't had to worry about them falling out, or just as annoying, shifting around so they don't sound as good. Really the only feature these are missing in my book is ambient noise cancellation. Just by fitting in your ear, though, they do block quite a bit of outside noise. However, if you do want to hear your surroundings, you're able to configure via the app how much is passed through. They were super easy to get working via bluetooth. I didn't even install the Jabra apps at first and they worked just fine to stream music. Once you install the app (on Android you actually have to install another Jabra services app as well) then you can choose more detailed settings for the earbuds and also read a more detailed instruction manual. You're able to configure things like which voice assistant to use (phone default or Alexa), equalizer settings, how much ambient noise to pass through, and other call settings. You can also see the battery levels and check for firmware updates, etc. You can easily register the earbuds to get your 2-year warranty activated, too. The more I've used these earbuds the more I like them. Because of their compact size I think these will end up being my "go to" earbuds/headphones for traveling. They sound great, have good battery life, are comfortable and easy to carry, so to me these are the perfect earbuds.

They work well, but slightly user unfriendly.

I had high expectations of these earbuds... with all of the reviews I read online and videos off YouTube, they sort of fell short in my opinion. If they weren’t on sale at bestbuy, i probably would’ve returned them the next day. My one complaint that pushed my 5 star vote to a 4 star vote, was the intent of Jabra and the button functionality and ergonomics of them. The left earbud has the slightest bit of a definition to how to use the volume and track skipping via the user manual, and I had to feel out which side did what, but once I did that, it was fine. It took me a while though, and it was frustrating at first. The right earbud use for the double tap of the ambient sound function requires a bit of a rhythm to find the difference between the toggle of on and off, which also can be a bit frustrating. So maybe less clicking of the earbuds would be better for a more user friendly experience? Idk. Just my opinion on that. The app is nice to use though, because it helps you find a sound preference for a good listening experience. Again, the fact that they were on sale made that aspect of the earbuds more appealing. The fit was snug and I had very little issues using the eartips to find a secure seal for my ear canals and an overall decent sound isolating experience. The build quality is excellent, and other than the clickity buttons on these earbuds, they seem pretty sturdy for what their intentions are for. I have yet to test them for their battery life and ip rating, but judging by the overall quality of them, I’m sure the only thing that would be an issue is the wearing and tearing on my end. I’d consider them and recommend them with the few caveats that I mentioned and would say that at the sale price I bought them at, they’re worth the purchase. Thanks for reading.

Best option out there - but no great fit

Battery is solid, sound quality is solid, connectivity is solid, call quality, etc. But the fit isn't that great, and the buttons to pause, skip, etc are almost unusable and should have been made touch as opposed to pressure. I have to jam them in and hurt my ears to interact. They get loose and can fall out. I've tried the different sized buds. That being said, still the best out there.

This is an awesome pair of wireless earbuds. I have used quite a few of them lately - bose on ears, bose qc 35, jabra elite sport, powerbeats - to name a few. None of them support bluetooth 5.0, the elite 65t does. it has aptX codec support too - that translates into an awesome sound stage. Also has customizable equalizers - you can make it bass heavy if you want it. Multi-point support - you can connect two devices easily. Voice enhanced - probably the only earbuds that is well tuned for calls. My only gripe might be the fit and the case. The fit takes a while to settle. The case is too tight to be easy one hand operated. Overall - very pleased.

I recently purchased these earbuds for use in conference call applications (Zoom, Skype) during this pandemic WfH period. The earbuds are very attractive and were easy to Bluetooth pair with my Windows based laptop. They were recognized/visible in the three major conference platforms (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams) that I am required to use and the sound quality is very good. However, unfortunately when I would speak, participants consistently indicated they couldn't hear me, I sounded distant, or wasn't audible. I tried these for only a couple of meetings, one Zoom and one Skype based session, before bailing and going back to my wired of the ear drive through food order headset again. I really like the look and feel of these but unfortunately the lack of participants being able to hear me, I decided to return and mark these as average. They feel sturdy, sit in the ear well and block out all other sound, but I think the speaker is too small for active conference call sessions if you are connected to something else other than a phone.

Dello DerekT- Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the Jabra Elite 65t. A Jabra Bluetooth device is optimized for use with a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. Some users may have success pairing a Jabra Bluetooth device with a computer and then connecting to a softphone client such as Microsoft Teams. However, the full functionality of the Jabra device may not be available. For example, you may be able to send and receive audio, but the buttons may not work for call controls the way they would with a mobile device. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are happy to read that regardless of these challenges you are experiencing that you truly like the feel and look of the Jabra Elite 65t. We appreciate your feedback and we will certainly share this internally. Thanks, again. Jabra
