Stopped working after about a month!

I purchased these from bestbuy after reading reviews and watching reviews and they all stated that these were the best truly wireless earbuds. They lived up to the claims when they were working. One day (using them for less than a month) I put the earbuds in and the right earbud's sound was really faint, basically couldn't hear it. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new right earbud. It worked! Less than a week later the left earbud experienced the same failure. Contacted customer support and they asked me to send back both earbuds and case and they will issue me new replacement. So now I have to wait for them to receive the broken earbuds (ground shipping) and once they receive them they will send me the replacement. Disappointed in the way they are handling this, as now I don't have any earbuds to use. I'm hoping that the new ones work or I'm going to just ask for a refund.

    Great concept, poorly executed

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I had to return these earbuds because the right ear just refused to be comfortable with any ear tip provided. But that is not the reason for the 2 star rating. 2 stars because.... 1. Hearthrough function is great concept, but the ambient sound barely comes through even when it is set to max. The whole point of this function is to be able to hear overhead announcements, street ambient sounds, cars, pedestrians...etc. But while set to max and music only at 25%, I can barely hear any ambient sounds. With the music stopped, the ambient sound is barely there. 2. The charging case just seemed like an after thought. The earbuds does not have a positive feel when you set them in the charging case, and this is confirmed by the led on the earbuds flickering when the charging case lid is open. The texture of the earbuds are very smooth and this is bad when you attempt to grasp them out of the charging case. There is simply no grip and chance of dropping these $170 earbuds and damage them are very high. 3. controls are split between right and left earbuds, and you must be wearing the right earbuds in order for the left one to work. So you can't wear just the left if you prefer to just wear them on the left ear. You must wear the right one if you just want mono playback. Final thoughts.... Hearthrough concept is great, but just not even close to what one would hope it should do.... be able to hear your surroundings while having some music background, additionally, unable to wear only left earbud and at $17.... are the final nails to seal this coffin.

    Decent sound but not great

I wanted to love these but they just don't compare to my around ear Sony wireless headphones. The sound is decent but not great and the buds don't seem to fit my ears properly. One keeps falling out and both ears hurt after wearing for about 15 minutes. Also, I hear a 'whompf whompf' sound with every step I take while listening to them, regardless of if 'hear through' is activated or not. Speaking of 'hear through', it seems random noises like keyboard clicking and doors closing are amplified to the point of being annoying but voices are muffled and quiet and I am unable to make out what others are saying while wearing these.

    Great Ear Buds!!

These ear buds are fantastic!! I had the jaybird run and like them for the most part. However, I exchanged them for the Jabra elite 65t and couldn't be happier. Audio syncs perfectly while streaming, no connectivity issues and the audio quality is really good. Just to name a few. As you would expect, call quality is excellent as well.

Good If You Only Need Them For A Week

Pros: sound quality, range, the microphones are great! Cons: Durability Like many other reviewers here, my left earbud went out after only 4 months. I am on attempt number 4 (5?) with customer support because if you don't respond within 24 hours they delete your ticket and you have to start over. There is clearly a widespread manufacturing or design defect, and they sure don't make it easy to resolve it. (There was a software issue that I read has been fixed, so maybe they just need another fix and are stalling for time. /shrug ) This is my second pair of Bluetooth Jabras and they've both had the same issue (my original Elite Sport had the right earbud go out after about 8 months). I own far too many Bluetooth earbuds and they all have something that will disappoint. I recommend buying a cheap pair and waiting until the technology gets better.

    Sound Cuts out

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Everything about these earbuds were amazing. Great sound, great noise cancelling, easy charge. The mic wasn't the greatest. My fiance couldn't really hear me. Granted I work in a loud environment. The problem was every time I shot my tool at work the sound cut out. So every 10-15 seconds a minute, I had no sound. Will return and get a different headset.

    Waste of money

I was never able to get these to fit and stay in properly. I followed all the instructions for placing them and tried each of the sizes- they constantly fell out. Two nights after I bought them, I was walking in my neighborhood and the right ear piece fell out. I spent two hours looking for it, but think it must have rolled into a sewer. Neither Jabra nor Best Buy offer replacements for one piece, so after only two days use, I am out $170. Beyond that, the sound quality was good, but the Bluetooth frequently cut in and out.

I purchased the jabra elite 65t a year ago. The sound is great! I use them while at the gym and when walking or jogging. I’ve had consistent problems since purchasing them with not staying in my ear, sound comes out one ear but not the other. I’m constantly adjusting them as I can feel them working their way out of my ear. Once while washing my hands in the gym sink they popped out my ear and fell into the sink. It’s _________g annoying! If I’d known I was goofing to have such a hard time keeping them in my ear I would’ve bought the Apple ear buds. I’ve had other ear buds and beats by Dre, all of which eventually became unusable. This is my last ear bud purchase, when these go out or become unusable, I’m not buying another set no matter what brand it is !

    Not Good for iPhone X

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought these yesterday to use with my iPhone X. Everything was fine until I tried to add a call. The earbud disconnected/went silent. It didn't disconnected from the phone but I had to switch to speaker phone in order to hear either of the calls. I tried to add a call/3 way call 8 times and each time the earbud went dead. I exchanged the earbuds today... thinking there was something wrong with them but the second set I bought did the same thing. Apparently you can only make one call, no 3 way calling with these on the iPhone X. Not sure if I was able to answer the other line... But I have to be able to do everything with my headset. Ended up getting Apple AirPods... I also didn't like the fact that the left earbud is basically useless. Its only for listening to music which I really don't do. I wanted 2 earbuds that I could talk on like the Apple AirPods. If I'm charging the right one I can talk on the left one. With these you can only talk on the right one. If the right one goes dead you have no headset.

    No customer support!

The headphones are fantastic when they works. My left ear piece failed to work 8 months after purchase. As it is still under full factory warranty, I tried to contact Jabra customer service for assistance. I got the first mail with instruction about how to re-pair and update firmware, but no feedbacks after that no matter how many times I replied to them. I tried to call their customer service number, and ended up just waiting on line for about 20 mins on hold before I finally give up. Jabra's products are good but just with no service & support. I will NEVER buy any Jabra product from now on.

Headphones are near perfect. Case has major flaw

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The only two things I can knock on the headphones are max volume (less than Jaybirds) and no Alexa support yet. The real issue is for near $200 the case needs to be functional. If you toss your case on a desk or table with the logo facing straight up, the case pops open and the headphones pop out. The fact that I can't get my fingernail wedged in to open the case normally, I have reduced myself to dropping the case on purpose to get the headphones out. If they had a better clasp and a more satisfying snap in of the headphones then I would recommend this product with four stars. Add Alexa and its a five start review. BUT, really bad case is unjustifiable at this price point.

    Sounded good when it worked

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Pretty disappointed in this product but I was warned from other reviews before making a purchase so I must take responsibility for my error. All of a sudden this product does not pair at all with my iPhone and iPad but continues to give me a “connection unsuccessful” reading. I followed all troubleshooting guidelines on the manufacturers website. They sound great while they work but they don’t last very long. I have had these buds for approximately 6 months. If paying over $150.00 for a nice sound for six months is worth it to you then I highly recommend this product. What a shame. In fairness I will continue to attempt to pair these buds for a few more days and repost if the problem is corrected but I do not hold out much hope. Could end up being a waste of money.

Product failed in less than 6 months

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Headphones sounded pretty good while they worked, good volume, clarity, and bass with music but this lasted less than 6 months. The left earbud volume is now gone and has developed buzzing/crackling sound. Best Buy won't take back, said to work with manufac. Jabra cust support is useless, they responded with all sorts of ideas and suggestions (stall tactic) that don't work but won't replace or offer refund for a product which failed within 6 months. Waste of money, crappy customer service from Jabra, low quality product, do not recommend.

    Poor Connectivity

I am an iphone user. And this earbud does not connect to my phone immediately after I put them in my ears. Sometimes I would use the right earbud only and when I try to put the left one in, it wouldnt even be turned on automatically. I tried to connect the earbuds to my computer. While it did work, it would not connect to my phone automatically when my computer was off. Overall very poor connectivity to apple products. On the bright side, the sound quality is really good. An android user might have a better experience?

Comfort: My ears hurt and itch after about 45 minutes of use. I couldn't wait to take them out of my ears. User manual: User manual doesn't have instructions for pairing. You had to use the app Fit: It is great they come with 3 different ear gels, but even after wearing them around the kitchen, they started to come out. I tried other ear gels. I have a tragus piercing in both ears. I purchased these refurbished from the Jabra website. This is the first True Wireless headphones I have used. I'm planning on returning them and trying a different brand.
