Customers are pleased with the Elite 7 Active True Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones, particularly praising the sound quality, fit, comfort, and battery life. The ANC and Hearthrough features are also well-received. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues and found the case design a bit challenging to open. The microphone quality could also be improved for better phone calls.

These Jabra Elite 7 active wireless noise canceling in-ear headphones perform exactly as they are advertised. To begin with, they come in a very sturdy compact case. This little case allows you to have up to 30 hours of on-the-go total charge. These Jabra headphones are very simple to pair up. All you have to do is push the buttons on both earbuds for 3 seconds and follow the voice instructions to pair to your phone. Once they are paired, the next thing you will notice is how comfortable they feel once in your ear. These Jabra Elite 7s are designed specifically for people how are active as they use them. I have had previous earbuds that produce great sound quality, but aren't comfortable or stay in your ears very well. With these Jabras, they not only produce rich powerful sound, but they also stay in your ears at all times. I also like that they are designed to be sweat and waterproof. I just recently retired a pair of earbuds from another brand that I would use during workouts or doing lawn work because one of the buds no longer works after being exposed to too much sweat. I never have to worry about that with these Jabras. To really get the most of these headphones you will need to download the Jabra Sound app. This will enable you to adjust the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and the hearthrough. The app will also allow you to customize your music profiles, choose your voice assistant and check your battery life. These Jabra Elite 7s have what you are looking for when purchasing your next set of headphones: Great sound quality, very comfy, and they will always stay in your ear.

Note: While I stand by my review, in consultation with various friends, there's a consensus that perhaps the shape of my ears simply presents issues with earbud-style headphones as my opinions on them are not widely shared with others. Read on... Context: I've had the opportunity to test and try out many different types of wireless headphones. I am NOT an audiophile, but can generally recognize good sound from tinny/crappy sound. I've also developed a relatively strong feeling that using these truly wireless headphone for exercise really only makes sense if the earbuds have an over-the-ear hook to secure them. I've yet to find the earbuds that, without that hook, will securely & comfortably stay in my ear during even light activity, better yet a run or a bike ride (on a trail, only one earbud... ALWAYS make sure you can hear traffic/pedestrians!!) As I primarily use my earbuds while being active, I'd pretty much sworn off even trying/reviewing earbuds without hooks. When the Jabra - Elite 7 Active True Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones come out & specifically advertise that they will stay in no matter the activity with their special Shake Grip technology... well, I've got to test that!!! The good: - They did stay in better than any non-hook-having earbuds I've ever tried - Jabra makes very good sounding earbuds with deep bass & rich tones - They were very comfortable! - The accompanying app works well. I've not found apps to be a critical selling point, but it is nice to have & play with sometimes - The ANC works! This has not been my experience with all earbuds having ANC - For use at the office or in a relatively calm setting, I'll grab these earbuds to use! The less good: - I still wouldn't them on a run or bike ride (my most frequent activities); 1) I don't want to spend any time while doing this feeling like my earbuds are going to fall out & I still found myself doing that, even while just walking! 2) I really, really don't want to worry about losing one or both of >$150 set of earbuds out on a trail somewhere! Thus, my 3-stars does NOT mean that these aren't as good or better than any number of other earbuds, but when you specifically advertise that they'll stay in no matter what and they don't... well, I can't give that the best rating. I also would, conceivably recommend these regardless, so long as one either weren't going to be doing hard core activity and/or doesn't at all share my relatively persistent issues with earbuds coming out.

Hello SCAntonio- Thank you for writing a review of the Jabra Elite 7 Active. It is unfortunate that you are having trouble finding a secure and comfortable fit. The 7 Active includes 3 different sets of Silicon EarGels. We kindly suggest mixing and matching the supplied accessories to help find the best, optimal fit, for you. We also recommend twisting the Earbud gently into your ear canal to create a tight seal. Once you have tested and chosen the most comfortable EarGel size for you, we recommend using the MyFit feature in the Jabra Sound+ app. When you start MyFit, a multitone is played in the earbuds to detect if the seal of each earbud can be improved. Therefore, the most important thing is not to touch your earbuds when MyFit is in progress. If MyFit detects that the seal in your earbuds can be improved, you will be asked to adjust the position of the earbuds, change the EarGel size, or do both. If you continue having trouble, we recommend to make sure you run MyFit with all three sizes of EarGels until you achieve a good fit. Though you are experiencing these challenges finding a comfortable fit, we are happy to read that you are enjoying the deep bass, rich tones, and Active Noise Cancellation. We hope our guidelines help you with these troubles. If you require further assistance, please contact Jabra Support: https://bit.ly/3BNXN1f. We are here to help! Thanks, again. Your feedback is truly valuable to us. Jabra

Step one, get the app. Several different sound profiles you can use depending on the sound you prefer or you can make your own custom sound profile. I love a full sound so I tweaked my favorite sounding profile they had and made it perfect for my ears. The app will also tell you if you’re using the right size ear piece to capture the sound and for proper noise canceling. I swapped out for the big ear pieces and it definitely made a difference in sound quality, especially for bass, which by the way is fantastic without feeling like your ear are going to blow out. The buds themselves have that smooth soft touch to them. Very nice quality. The sound quality easily compares to that of a expensive pair that I own which makes this s great value, especially since these actually stay in my ears working out. At no time did I feel like they were going to pop out onto the floor. I’ve had other that If you work too hard, off your bud goes onto the dirty floor and then back into your ear. Gross. These stay in great! The other feature I really like are actual buttons instead of tapping to pause music, skip, take calls etc. no more timing your taps or wondering if it recognized your tap, or tapping too hard or too soft. Overall, I really like these. Definitely will be my new gym buds. Highly recommended

    Not the best ANC

So, I had some issues with my headset that were only resolved after a firmware update luckily, so thank goodness for that. The issues were with static coming from the left ear when trying to answer a call. Anyways, overall these ear buds I would give 3.5 stars. The bottom line is for the price, the ANC is bad, the call quality is meh, sound is pretty good, and they do stay in your ear during work outs. PRO: - Good battery life - Snug fit in the ear so you do not have to constantly adjust it while working out (running, weights, etc.) - Comfortable for long term wear in the gym. - App is nifty with EQ you can adjust if you want - Sound quality is pretty good, I would say 7.5/10 could use more bass. CONS - Call quality is hit or miss. The first call I ever answered on these my phone bugged out and so did the headphones. It kept switching between my phone and the headset and once it established the headset as the device to use, the person on the other end could not hear or understand me and I could not with them. I tried many other phone calls and it was hit or miss with people not being able to hear me. - Buggy before firmware update, this device is quirky with disconnects that seem to have been alieved by firmware possibly. - Bad ANC. Like I don't even know if the passthrough feature can even be considered ANC because you hear EVERYTHING. Even on total silence mode, I can still hear quite a bit around me, way more than other ANC earbuds I have owned. You can customize it in the app too, but even on the most noise controlled setting, it is lackluster at best, kind of annoying for an active wear earbud because gyms are quite noisy. - Mono mode is very buggy and needs to be worked on.

Hello Indianscorpion- Thank you for reviewing the Jabra Elite 7 Active. We are sorry to hear you could not get a secure fit with your Elite 7 Active and that you were not fully satisfied with the device's audio quality. The Jabra Elite 7 Active maintains a nice balance between the audio's highs, mids, and lows. We recommend ensuring your earbuds are placed correctly in your ears to get the best possible audio quality with your Elite 7 Active. You can check our support page article to ensure you have the proper adjustment with your Jabra Elite 7 Active: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-active/100-99171703-98/faq/How-do-I-get-the-best-fit-with-my-Jabra-earbuds. Ensuring you have the best fit with the eargels on your Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds is also vital for making the most out of the noise cancellation function of your earbuds. A snug fit will create a seal around the outside of your ear canal, preventing ambient noise from getting into your audio stream. Furthermore, we strongly encourage you to check out our support article, which details our helpful tips and tricks on getting the best possible audio quality with your Jabra Elite 7 Active:
https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-active/100-99171703-98/faq/How-do-I-optimize-the-audio-settings-for-listening-to-music-and-watching-videos. If you are still not satisfied with the audio quality of the Jabra Elite 7 Active after checking out our support articles, we recommend taking the MySound test found in the Jabra Sound+ app to tailor your listening experience even further. The MySound test is an audio test made up of various tones played at different frequencies in both your left and right earbud. The test results are then used to create a personalized audio profile for the wearer. Your MySound profile is used to calibrate your Jabra device to optimize your music listening experience and is saved to your Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds and to your Sound+ app to ensure you are always getting the best possible audio quality. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions or concerns about your earbuds: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-active/100-99171703-98/contact-support. Hello xxxx- Thank you for reviewing the Jabra Elite 7 Active. We are sorry the earbuds do not fit. We encourage you to check out our Jabra Elite 7 Active fit guide to see how to find your perfect fit: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-active/100-99171703-98/faq/How-do-I-get-the-best-fit-with-my-Jabra-earbuds. We recommend you try all of the different sized ear gels that come included in your package as we know that not everyone's ears are the same size or shape. You will want to find an ear gel that fits snuggly in your ear without being too tight. Finding a snug fit may take some trial and error, and you may even need to mix and match the size of your ear gels per earbud. Lastly, we now offer a MyFit test for the Jabra Elite 7 Active within the Jabra Sound+ app. We designed MyFit to help you find your best fit with the Elite 7 Active earbuds and optimize your audio experience, improve the Active Noise Cancellation functionality, and help you feel a deeper bass in your audio. When you take the test, you will hear a tone played simultaneously in each earbud. During this time, your earbuds are checking to make sure that you have an optimal seal around your ear canal. To access the MyFit test, connect your Jabra Elite & Active to the Sound+ app. Then, go into the Headset tab and select Settings. Lastly, tap "Personalize your headset" > MyFit. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything else we can do for you: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-active/100-99171703-98/contact-support. We are here for you! Jabra

Hello Carlos57- Thank you for your review of the Jabra Elite 7 Active. We are pleased you enjoy the Elite 7 Active's fit and features. However, we are sorry you are not satisfied with the noise cancellation function of the headset. We designed the Elite 7 Active with a so-called “closed-design,” which is a critical enabler in making the Elite 7 Active our most discreet and comfortable earbuds yet – critical purchase criteria among our users. Due to the “closed-design” and excellent sealing of the Elite 7 Active, however, the passive noise cancellation (PNC) is very high, which makes the perceived difference between turning ANC on and off less obvious, especially for some users as it depends on the individual ear canal acoustics. That said, when it comes to total noise cancelation (ANC + PNC), we are confident that the 7 Series will delight users and meet their needs for blocking out their surroundings on the go. The Jabra - Elite 7 Active in-ear head phones are excellent. The sound, call quality and fit are great! I get about 7-8 hours of playtime/use out of these which is pretty good. The app makes setup a breeze. You will also be able to set up your sound profile, noise cancelling level, customize the buttons and more. To me, one of the most important aspects of a set of in-ear headphones is whether or not they stay in the ear. Thankfully, the Jabra Elite 7 did excellent while jogging and hitting the heavy bag. The fit is great and they include several different ear tips. If you are looking for a solid pair of in-ear headphones, you won't be disappointed with the Jabra Elite 7 Active.

Hello heatfan4life- Thank you for writing a review of the Jabra Elite 7 Active. We are sorry to learn that you are having trouble finding a secure fit. To improve the fit, you can:
      1. Try your earbud with each of the different EarGel sizes that comes with your earbud. The fit should feel light and comfortable.
      2. Check the fit with MyFit on the Jabra Sound+ app. MyFit checks the fit of each earbud to determine if a slight reposition or a different EarGel size can improve the fit.
Regardless, your feedback is truly valuable to us. We will pass this information along to the appropriate team. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Jabra Support: https://bit.ly/3xW53qM. We are always here to help! Jabra
