Jabra 75t Elite Active Review I purchased the Jabra Elite Active 75t ear pods ~ six months ago. I deliberately delayed this review because I wanted to ensure I gave enough time to learn the operation of the app (which is outstanding) and I wanted to test the full functionality as well as different applications. I was looking for ear pods to wear outside working/hiking and the secondary need was to wear when I ride my Harley. But first, Let’s start with what might be the most important category, sound; Sound This is a broad category but I am not going over-complicate the sound review. One word, outstanding sound quality and dynamic range. I listen to all kinds of music and these pods performed very well across all dynamics including vocals and instruments, for example - Firefall, Cinderella, you can hear the fingers gliding across the strings in the opening chorus. Then the following subtle vocals are crisp and clean with all the mid-tones captured with clean clarity. But what about bass? I really don’t understand the emphasis on bass elevated to a level it is distorted and that is considered good sound? I don’t get it but if you want bass you will not be disappointed. I listened to Usher/Ludacris/Lil John, Yeah – The vocal clarity is superb but the background bass is excellent and I had the app equalizer set to “smooth” (the bass setting is midline). You want head vibrating bass? Not with pods but these deliver distinctive solid bass. Ok so let’s talk about full dynamic range. At home, I have a full audio setup with a Technics turntable, Onkyo amp, Cerwin Vega speakers, Bose Speakers I listen to vinyl as well as digital. Here is what I used to test reproductive characteristics, I listened to the following albums • Pink Floyd, The Wall • Best of the Moody Blues • Lynard Skynard All-Time Greatest Hits • Kid Rock, Rock N Roll Jesus • John Mayer, Continuum Each one of these albums has its embedded limitations. Some are due to the actual recording and limitations for that time in history. However, the ear pods reproduced these sound qualities and I cannot pick out a limiting flaw on any of the albums or songs. The 75t seemed to captures all the incredible sound dynamics as well as those embedded recording flaws. Wearability The pods fit comfortably in my ears. But I had to spend some time to make sure they were inserted correctly and I had the right size earpieces. This exercise makes a difference for your hearing pleasure and the proper operation of the noise cancellation feature (which is outstanding). There is one word of caution. Because of their design, there are no accessories you can attach to the pods to prevent loss in case they fall out. This is a big deal if you are on a bike or motorcycle, etc. I purchased a third-party product but it is a pain and if installed the pods will not fit in the charging case. The ultimate challenge came when I wanted to use them while riding my Harley. I wear a half helmet with a chin strap. I found when I had them installed I could put the ear covers on my helmet strap and this took care of the fear of them falling out. And now for the unknown added value. The 75’s operation is pressure-sensitive depressions on either EarPods. They are not biometric which means they do not have to sense the operator’s skin. So why is this important? Well, when riding a motorcycle I could just press on my ear cover to pause music, adjust the sound level, etc I could fully operate the pods by just tapping on either ear cover. My wife could not operate her Apple iPod Pro. The 75T are highly recommended for motorcycle use. Noise Cancellation Technology (ANC) Some advice; If you are not used to NCT headphones/ear pods be in a noisy space when you experiment. When I utilized these on my motorcycle, and I turned on ANC I was stunned by the effectiveness of Jabra technology. If I had to rate these with a scale. I would say they blocked out 80% of the background noise. But I could hear sirens, horns, etc. The “Hear Through” feature eliminated me from having to remove my helmet and the 75t’s if I was trying to converse with fellow riders. Outstanding technology and it works. Functionality and Jabra App The App is a must and is simple. Just take the time to learn all it can do and play around with the settings. I have an iphone11 and the EarPods integrated well with all the apps I use. They really worked well with Google maps. While on my motorcycle I would play music and maps would announce upcoming turns. This is a big deal because I would not have to take my eyes off the road to look at my phone. I could hear everything clearly through the 75t’s. Summary I could not come up with a distinctive negative for not buying these earpods. They sound great, they are comfortable and their ANC is state of the art. I believe the price point for these is a great value. I think they are a super buy for the technology.

I have owned these for almost a year and had to get them replaced. But with that said you can't find a better pair of ear buds. The only pair I have found that can do 2 devices at one time. You can pair your phone and laptop at the same time and then be listening to music and then answer your phone without any issues. Great set of ear buds.

The controls are easy to use and the sound quality is great. The charging case charges quickly and they hold a great charge. My only complaint is that they are a little uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time.
