Best Bluetooth I’ve ever purchased highly recommendable

The sound in pass-through mode is so much better than airpods pro. However, there was absolutely 0 bass in ANC or Off modes; like a far away radio. I really wanted to like them but I had to return them unfortunately.

My Elite 8 Active Gen 2 failed with audio issues, and Jabra support has been awful. No phone line, super slow replies, and they made me ship my earphones in without telling me the product is no longer available. Now they want to give me a lower-quality model instead of a proper replacement or refund. Completely unacceptable for a “premium” brand. Be careful if these break, you’re on your own.

These were the worst for my situation. There appeared to be a bug with the software when you enabled google integration and wind cancelling. The jabra support questions were extremely lacking on trying to understand what was going on after i had given them very explicit steps on how to reproduce the issue. i ended up returning them. It was also hilarious how these were advertised to "stay in your ears". I put them in for the first time, bent over slightly, and out they came LOL. I even tried all of the different sizes of ear size attachments. They only sounded slightly better than the ones i bought next to them the soundcore x20s, which i kept

I bought these back in August 28 2024. They were working well until April 1st. They are suppose to be seat and dust proof. Well apparently they are NOT! I use them inside and and do cadio. So now the left side sounds as if i have swimmers ear. I called for help, but Bestbuy won't help and the manufacturer said they would send me an email and still haven't. Needles to say i will not buy not suggest buying them.

I have numerous Jabra products. I have Bluetooth headsets, office headsets with one ear piece and a telescoping microphone and I also have numerous sets of earbuds. All of these Jabra products have been pretty average products. They aren’t bad, but they aren’t outstanding for any particular reason. They usually serve as backups in case something happens to my higher-end devices. That isn’t the case with the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 earbuds. These earbuds fit into a new category for me and I got them at just the right time. I have only recently started working out in a gym. It had been 10 years since I last saw the inside of a gym, but I’m back. Last time I was in a gym, I had a pair of earbuds that hooked over my ears and they connected to each other with a wire around the back of my head. They sounded horrible, moved all over the place, and I hooked the wire on half the machines, tearing the off my head. Now I watch people in the gym wearing big headsets that they have to keep playing with or earbuds that keep falling out. But that isn’t a problem for me. I put my earbuds in while I’m in the locker room. I choose my playlist and put my phone in my pocket. I never touch either of them again, until my workout is done. They really stay in place. They aren’t affected by sweat or even misting when I want to cool off a little. They stay in place regardless of what I’m doing. The sound is great. They utilize Dolby ATMOS Spatial Audio so instead of hearing the sounds in your ears, you hear it in your head. Depending on the audio, it can make a huge difference. Something unique with these earbuds, is the case. While it’s as little awkward that it has a rounded bottom, it has a feature I’ve not seen before. If you have an audio source that doesn’t have blue tooth, you can use the included cable to plug one end into a 3.5mm audio outlet or USB-C port and the other end into the case. Press the button on the case and you can now listen to that audio source with your blue tooth earbuds. Any source you choose, you can listen to with or without Dolby ATMOS Spatial. I’m using an Android phone and loaded Jabra’s Sound+ app. The app provides instructions on how to use and wear your ear buds. It also allows you to update firmware for the ear buds as well as the case. It lets you personalize the earbuds allowing you to define what pressing the buttons on the ear buds does. You can adjust double press and triple press on both the left and right ear buds. You can assign functions based on if you are listening to “Music and media”, “Incoming calls”, and “Active calls”, giving you a great amount of flexibility. As an example, I have mine set that if I double press my left ear bud, it will start playing Spotify for me. You can control lots of settings for call handling. You can also control the ear buds in-ear detection. They are able to sense in you have them in your ears or not. They keep track of the last location they were used, in case they are lost. They have a 5-band equalizer with 6 presets and you can control the Dolby ATMOS Spatial Sound. You can also control which voice assistant you would like to use. You can also control the language for the voice guidance and turn “Wind Noise Reduction” off or on for your microphones. Speaking of microphones, the earbuds have 6 microphones built in. The sound quality for the receiver is very good. No need to raise your voice in order to be heard. They do a very good job of reproducing your voice during a call. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with these ear buds. They have a fantastic set of features, including some that nobody else has. While I would love longer battery life, 8 hours isn’t really anything to complain about. They stay rock solid in your ears while working out and are sweat, water, and dust proof. Even the case. They are extremely tough, meeting MIL-STD-810H military standards for durability. On top of this they sound great.

Returned it in less than 24 hours. The sound quality while listening to music isnt as good as my Sony wf1000xm5’s and the noise cancellation doesnt work half the time

Did not work for me. One ear fit fine, the other ear the fit was not right. I was concerned that the bud on the ear that did not fit right would fall out. Decided to return them.

I have had many sets of ear buds that claim to be very durable or rugged, but, most of the time, they aren't as durable as they claim. My favorite thing about these Jabra's is how well built they are. They seriously are built like a tank and withstand everything I have thrown at them. I have used them in the hot ands humid heat while doing yard work, while going on walks and even in the shower(may not be something recommended but I love my music in the shower and these performed perfectly while doing my thing). I am just super impressed with the durability of these bad boys. The fit inside my ear is comfortable and snug at the same time. I had no issues with my ears getting sore after hours of use nor did I have any issues with them becoming loose and falling out of my ears. This is truly the first pair of ear buds that stayed in place the way they do. They charge easily and quickly. The case is easy to plug in and get the power going to recharge the ear buds. It also has the ability to be plugged in via 3.5mm headphone jack and stream wirelessly to the earbuds. I like this option because I can use it with my laptop in the night hours without disturbing my neighbors but still getting great sound. The sound is pretty good overall. Calls are clear and I can hear everything without issue. The active noise cancelling is good and does what it is supposed to but it's not better or worse than many others I have compared it too. It excels with music. There isn't any genre that I have listened to that didn't come to life wit these ear buds. I have also used them with movies and games. They do perform well but leave a bit to be desired. I feel that it lacks the depth to really immerse someone in a movie or game. This is why I gave it four stars instead of five. They last a very long time. I have used them everyday since I have gotten them and still have plenty of battery life left. I enjoy the app for my Android phone. It was easy to find and install. I had it set up and paired with the ear buds in just a few minutes. I love all the different features and settings in the app. Overall, these earbuds are excellent and definitely a must have!

They work fine, they just won't power off. They are always connected to my phone, even when in the case

The Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 is a tremendous step up from my previous Jabra ear buds. Not that the old set is bad by any means, but these new active 8 gen 2 buds are just a few steps above the old ones. The fit on these new active 8 earbuds is great right out of the box. If for some reason these don't fit you well, these come with three additional ear pieces to adjust the fit. This jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 is advertised as the world's toughest earbuds with a plug and play smart case. I have no idea if they are truly the world's toughest, but I will say, they are the toughest I have owned. Fully sweat proof, water proof and workout proof and the secure in ear fit make them about as good as it gets. The sound is extremely clear and crisp and the volume is more than adequate, especially with the outstanding noise cancelling ability of these earbuds. The jabra app allows you to toggle spacial sound on and off. This setting is great when using the earbuds for sound while watching movies or shows. It give you the feel of being in the center of the activity. You can use these with about any device that has bluetooth connectivity. I guess the only complaint I have is that the new case will not stand up on its own. It is rounded at the bottom. Trivial I know, but still bugs me just a bit. These are good, really good. Noise cancellation is awesome, even when using them to mow the lawn. Controls are easy to learn and follow. Overall, a really nice set of earbuds that anyone can enjoy in any weather conditions.

I really love these ear buds. They are my 2nd par from JABRA on this design. They fit well and sound really good. Lets get into it. Fit - They are very comfortable. Several sizes are included but the outer ear is what always bothers me. These fit snug but don't push against my ear canal. Great fit Sound - They are plenty loud for use. Along with the noise cancelling they work awesome for yard work. I'm able to hear my music and not the sound of the yard machines. My son does the same thing. You have a EQ in the app, so you can customize the sound. Also included is Dolby and spacial 3D sound for even more options. Also with a quick tap, you can go to hear through and not have to take the buds out!! BEST FEATURE Durability - these things are almost bullet proof. They take a beating! With yard work they get quite dirty and its just a simple rinse off before placing back in the case. They are marketed as Military grade for durability - and I believe it! Battery - they last so long - I don't believe I've ever had to recharge on the cable. The buds seems to last so long. then the case provides quick charge should you hit the low level. Manual states 52hours of playback with ANC on. Case is simple with flip top. Magnetic set for the buds. Utilizes a USB-C cable included to charge. No block. Works off my fast charger 30W
