The sound is good, but there's no improvement over the Elite 7 actives. Some of the features for the Elite 7s have disappeared from the Elite 8s. For me, the fit of the 7s was also ALOT better. I never had a problem with the 7s moving while running, but with these the I constantly have to reposition them while running. Only reason for the 3 stars is the great customer service on getting my 7s replaced. I would recommend these, but only to those who do not plan on using these for running.

Great for working out

While they have never fallen out of my ears when I lean down (say negative sit-ups), they don't stay in as well as when standing up. When inserted, I have to put it in the right earbud first, or it will not automatically turn on. If I put in the left earbud first, the bud connects, but the left bud stays off. The battery seems to last forever, I can work out 1.5 hrs a day all week with no charging.

You may want to check the other sizes of eargels that were included with the product. Keep in mind that you may use two different sizes for each ear. Best Active Heavy Duty Noise Cancelling Ear Buds

The rubber like surface makes them easy to grip and not drop with sweaty finger and also makes them stay in your ears better as well. The tactile buttons inside the ear buds are the best on ear bud controls I've ever experienced. The battery life is fantastic. They're great for calls and most importantly they don't fall out of my ears!

Excellent even after a year!

Great music sound, excellent talking on phone & people hear me clearly even with a ton of background noise. Only thing lacking is deep bass sounds. Everything else is perfect.

Bass is great, the pass through works well. I have passthrough on medium when I workout because I like to be aware of my surroundings. I was going to get the Samsung Pro 3, but they are dragging their feet on the release and I hear they have a lot of quality issues. Glad I pulled the trigger on these.
