Five star review no question about it. I bought a pair of Dre Beat Earbuds to compare quality, there really is no comparison, Jabra is on a level of it’s own. The fit, price point, noise cancelling capability, sound quality, battery life, customer support and interactive Jabra App are all fantastic and very user friendly. I will be a Jabra customer for life. They are called Jabra ELITE 8 Active for a reason, an elite earbud with a superior listening experience. 10/10 would recommend.

I have several Jabra products (6 & 7) that I have used in the past but I must say these are by far the best. They are well designed and packaged. They are lightweight and hardly noticeable when you are wearing them. The sound is phenomenal and crisp. When I work out I sweat profusely and most in ear headphones claim to be sweat proof and that they will stay in your ear canal as you work out and sweat, most do not. However, these Jabra Elite 8 Active Earbuds do. Jabra has what they call “ShakeGrip” and believe me it works. You can run in these, jump in these, do most any kind of exercise and they have not dislodged from my ears. They just feel different from the other Jabra products I have used in the past. Also they are waterproof which for me was important, I mainly do cardio outside and there have been many times w/ the other products that I have tried in the past that as soon as it begins to rain you have to take them out. Not w/ the Jabra Elite 8. They are waterproof to the point Jabra says, they can survive being submerged. I updated my App and once I fully charged them the process of connecting them to my cell phone and table were simple, the entire Bluetooth process took less than 3 minutes and I had them in. I did experiment w/ the included gel/foam tips and I used one size in my left ear and a different size in my right. I normally can only wear earbuds for about an hour before experiencing ear fatigue but not w/ these. I can wear them about 2 to 3 hours w/ no problems, it seems as if they are just “different” If you are in the market for a great looking, great feel, in ear earbuds, I highly recommend the Jabra Elite 8 Active.

Very good overall -- good fit (and I usually have problems), good sound level (which means I run high playing audiobooks and podcasts ) and app gives good control over it, and the modes. Battery life is good. My only caveat is the bud has a tiny hole the sound comes out of -- open and unscreened. If you have any earwax issues, you'll eventually get wax in the bud that you can't get out, which would eventually lead to muted sound and shorten the life of the unit. You'll have to take steps to clear that your ears of wax before using.

My only qualm with this product is it doesn’t fit in my ear quite well enough where it doesn’t move while I’m working out. Eventually it wiggles out and then stops playing. The sound quality is amazing though. I take the bus in San Francisco and it is loud, everywhere, all the time with construction, people, sirens, homeless people, people on drugs, and I can honesty say I can drown out the world and peacefully read my book while in transit. The battery life is quite impressive, I got these back in December and I haven’t charged them once yet. At least 50 hours so far of listening. Overall 4 out of 5 only because of this fit.

These are my first pair of wireless earbuds. Couldnt be happier and I feel totally spoiled, like maybe Jabbra's earned my brand loyalty. These are super easy to use and they pair effortlessly with all my devices. To think I was worried they'd have fidgety controls! They have nice, easily accessible feature. Better than good enough sound. They're comfy and feel solid. The only thing I'll ding Jabbra for is their "Sound+" app, but that's used by a range of their products and is not specific to the Elite 8. Great price for a really nice product.

These buds are my new best buds, both at work and play! At this point I have owned a lot of headphones, earphones, earbuds or whatever you chose to call them. A lot of them have a lot of nice features, but so far none I have tried have the combination of sound, features, comfort and durability that these buds have. In terms of visual design, these buds are very minimalist. They sit well back in my average size ears and with a non-reflective coating they do not call attention to themselves. Unlike other buds that go out of the way to be noticed, likely so you can show your friends and family how cool you are, these are pretty stealthy. Might not be for everyone, but I really like the understated look rather than going for trendy. The outer coating is interesting as it has a very slight rubbery texture, making it seem less likely they will slip from your grasp. I was worried that the coating would attract dirt/dust/debris as I have experienced that with similarly textured items before. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that these buds actually seem more resistant to collecting messy bits than others I have experience with. I even managed to send one bud through the engine compartment of my running lawn mower (don't ask) and when I located it on the ground, I didn't see much of anything on it, and after a quick wipe on the t-shirt it went back in my ear. The medium squishy tips on the buds out of the box fit my ear best, but the package came with larger and smaller ones to fit a variety of ear sizes. The angle of the tips and shape of the buds really fits more comfortably in my ear than most buds I have tried. For me these are light years better fitting than the hard plastic ones. I got a pair of the trendy white ones as a gift and the darn things simply refuse to stay seated in my ears. I didn't test all the durability claims, but they have survived being dropped through the moving lawnmower (really, please don't ask), batted off the kitchen table by the cat, and (purposely) tossed into the pool, among other things. I am very impressed that after using these every day for a couple of weeks, including the mentioned mishaps, these buds still look good and sound good. In terms of sound quality, I was pleased with the crisp clarity of these buds. The bass effect is naturally constrained by the nature of the device compared to full over ear cans, but it was acceptable right out of the box. I did a little EQ tweaking and I found I could get a little warmer tone that seemed to get just the right balance for my taste. Not muddy, but just slightly less sharp. The active noise cancellation of these buds is the best I have experienced from in-ears. It isn't the cone of silence I get from my over ears, but the ANC is great at taking away the background sound of the lawnmower so that I don't have overcrank the music to drown it out. The form factor also makes it much more comfortable than wearing full cans while working or exercising. It's also worth mentioning the hear-through feature. In this mode it is possible to hear your surroundings, and comfortably communicate with others without removing the buds. I find myself using this feature a lot rather than my old go-to of pulling one bud out to speak with someone, or to be aware of my surroundings. Because the hear-through uses the mics on the buds to pick up the ambient sound it is quite different than listening with your own ears, and it's not great to use while still trying to play music, but it is a nice feature to have available. Testing the mic on a call showed that the pickup was quite good and call clarity was excellent. Operating the features of the buds is easy with pushes of the flat "front" of either the left or right didn't require a hard press (that would shove the bud into the ear) to activate features like the hear-through and ANC. The switching was near instantaneous and has become second nature as I use these. Battery life seems pretty good, but I am in the habit of regularly charging my devices so they are ready for use when I want them. I do know that I was able to run them continuously for 6 hours, mostly in ANC mode, before my phone battery died and I stopped using them. The charging case can charge using USB-C or on a pad,and seems to charge up pretty fast. These have become my go-to earbuds for everyday use. I have relegated my other buds to backup duty, and doubt they will be seeing too much use.

Work as everyone said it would amazingly good! I use these at the gym and they stay on with no problem. Also the jabra app where you can customize how you want it to sound is an excellent feature.

I bought these instead of the Elite 10s for the advertised durability and reliability, but they have been far worse than the Elite 7s. The left or right ear bud frequently does not power up on its own, then they frequently disconnect from each other while I’m working, causing one to power down and the other to turn its ANC off, which is very distracting. I never had this problem with the Elite 7s, and these have been having problems from day 1. The Customer Service for this has been a multi-day process of troubleshooting, pictures, etc. I sincerely regret not going with the Best Buy warranty on these, but I had thought these were going to be super durable. When working, the sound quality and ANC are probably slightly better than the Elite 7s were, but definitely wish I had gone with the Elite 10s as these do not provide the reliability or durability as expected.

These earbuds strike a great balance between sound quality, fit and security, as well as durability - a solid option for anyone looking for a great sounding, sports-oriented pair of earbuds. Fit and Security When it comes to fit, these have a nice blend of comfort and security where they are surprisingly secure for sports considering they don’t have “wings” like a Beats Fit Pro but still quite comfortable with the soft-feeling material they use for the outside of the buds. They feel very light in the ears while still staying put. IP68 These earbuds have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance which is far higher than most popular earbuds available around this price range. Being that I use earbuds primarily for sports, this is a very important feature for me with plenty of sweat. Sound Quality I’ve been a big fan of the sound quality and signature of Jabra earbuds for quite some time and these continue that trend. In fact the reason for these is that sadly I lost one side of my Elite 9’s :( These deliver on all ranges from very crisp highs all the way to deep lows and everything in between. The clarity and depth is far beyond what you can get out of most earbuds in this price range and this is just with the standard, “flat” EQ. It also has a customizable EQ with preset sound profiles as well as custom profiles that you can set up. I tend to like the "energize" preset. Dolby Spatial Sound I found the Dolby Spatial Sound feature to be odd and the level of oddness depends on which sound mode you use (ANC/Transparency/Off). With the sound mode set to “off”, enabling the Dolby Spatial Sound feature makes the music sound hollow and like the artist is underwater. When using the “HearThrough” mode, the vocals start to get echoey and even more so with Active Noise Cancellation. I heard that this was a highlight feature but I found it to not usable and poorly artificial. But the sound profile/signature without it is so good that I just don’t find a use for that feature. Active Noise Cancellation and HearThrough Active noise cancellation works well for masking out most outside sound but louder, high pitch sounds can still get through. The HearThrough transparency mode works well for ambient sound but voices sounded a little muffled. Both these modes are good and work well for the most part but not quite as good as the AirPods Pro 2. Battery Life Battery life is amazing with an advertised up to 8 hours of use with ANC and 14 hours without. It’s stunning to see how much battery life remains even after plenty of use. Even with the lackluster Dolby Spatial Sound feature, I'm still giving these 5 stars due to all the other features which work perfect for me. Highly recommended!

Amazing sound quality. They have a great fit. I love the easy functionality, and the app is phenomenal.

Before I begin this review, I acknowledge that earbud experience can vary from user to user to varying degrees. Things such as fit, sound and charge can vary based on use and person. In regards to these earbuds, the biggest challenge I had was getting them to fit correctly in my ears. They do send three additional size rubber ends to try and one of them worked closely but when running, the motion kept making them loose and my having to try and keep them in. Again, this is a person by person thing but this was my expereince. In regards to sound, I found the sound a bit lacking. It was good but not as good as other earbuds I have used. There is an app that you will want to download that will give you the ability to adjust various sound ranges to try to personalize your experience but I was not able to get the right mix of bass and treble for me. Again the sound want necessarily bad but not on par with what I have experienced in the past. Battery life is good. You can use them for for 6-8 hours I have found. Overall, the brand and style is respected there was just something missing for me with these.

The Jabra Elite 8 is high quality. The sound quality, is great and fits nicely in the ear. All I need.

Love these headphones!!! I have been a fan of Jabra in ear headphones for a while now! I primarily use these for gym workouts and some outdoor activities such as yardwork, So lets start off with fit. They fit snuggly into your ear and "lock" with a twist motion. They are secure!! I have no issues or even think they are going to fall out. They are not bulky and fit smoothly in. I will wear them for hours at a time and never have any discomfort at all. Comfort all the way. Sound is amazing. Full bass and great mids/highs. I do utilize amazon Music HD for my listening choice. This come through clear and perfect. You do have an EQ if you want to change the freq. Otherwise, its nice and plenty loud. Quite enjoyable. Controls are your typical type - each bud has a function. these can be modified in the app. But I REALLY REALLY like the button over touch. I get a physical "click" that I can feel and sometimes hear depending on volume. I have struggled with other touch buds in the past. Charging case - i'm a bit torn on this part. It works well and provided about a week without recharge. Although, I'm not a fan of the design. I want the flat part on the bottom for placing on the counter. Trivial issue. I do like the USB C and light to know its charging. Bud are held in place with magnet like all others. My case was black. Cable included but no wall wort. These are my favorite buds of the dozens I own!

Absolutely love! The sound quality is insane compared to others I've had. I'm really happy I decided to splurge and treat myself by buying these. I ordered them through the best buy website and picked them up within an hour at curbside. Next thing I knew I was hiking with high quality, great sounding music. Thanks Jabras & Best Buy!

Great sound.and easy to fits in your ears.. faster charge

Bought these for my significant other for work in manufacturing and he absolutely loves them. They dont fall out and the sound quality is better than any other ear buds weve tried in such a loud environment. Definitely recommend!
