However they changed the way it fits into your ear, its not a circle anymore, its an oval. Therefor it does not "lock" into your ears, no matter what size ear bud I used, I could not get a good fit. That's a shame because I really felt like the sound quality was an upgrade. But if it will not stay in your ear what difference does it make. Also I feel like its kind of shady how they do not mention or show photos of the different design.

Since everyone's ears are shaped slightly differently, we recommend trying all of the different sized EarGels that come included in your package in order to find a fit that is snug, but not too tight. You may even need to mix and match the size of your EarGels per earbud. The three sizes of smooth, silicone oval eargels create a more secure, noise-canceling seal and should provide a more comfortable fit as your ear canal is not round. Jabra Elite 85t Earbuds

Part of me wishes I hadn't. I actually liked the 75's better. They change the shape of the earpiece on this model, and it just didn't fit me as well as the previous version. Not everyone will have the same experience as I did, but I didn't love them. I also had to swap out two sets before I got one that functioned correctly. I usually like Jabra products, but these were not great.

I love the feature to mute them by touching the button while on a call. It also gives a voice prompt indicating that you just muted/unmuted. It took me two purchases though to realize that for some reason, the mic won't work if you have the wrong sized ear pieces in. People I called could not understand me at all. When I switched to a better fitting rubber ear piece, then the mic worked for phone calls. It was not obvious to me that this could be the cause so I actually returned a pair and got another before I figured it out.

One of the ear buds kept falling out of my ears and you could only use the right bud in solo mode. The noise canceling was excellent though.

Theybwork very well and their setting and set up is always strong with extensive bells and whistles. Only has three sets of ear molds unlike prior moldes I have owned.

My use case is running outdoors and they fall short in that category. Throw any wind in the mix and the headphones become a nuisance! I can’t stand to wear them and just go silent when it’s a windy day. I have the jabra 65t and they do very well in these conditions. I really enjoy the improved sound quality of the 85s, but I am very limited in when I can use the headphones due wind making them unusable. If you don’t plan to use outdoors for movement activities then you may be happy with these, otherwise I would stick with previous generations.
