Trustworthy and great sound. These are my 3rd set over the years and they continue to be my go to brand when it comes to earbuds.

I got these on sale and had a couple of gift cards to further reduce the price to around $130 all in, and at that price I’m pretty satisfied. Sound quality is pretty decent with the semi-open design. They’re enjoyable for everyday listening. I applied a slight mid boost in the Jabra app to neutralize the sound profile a bit. Comfort is okay. I can wear them for a few hours at a time before my ears start to feel a bit irritated. I was worried about the fit on any set of universal earbuds but these sit pretty securely and form a good seal with the included tips. They do stick out a bit further than I would ideally like. ANC has some effect but pales in comparison to my OG over-the-ear Sony 1000x. The Sony’s also sound better but have a bit too much bass and and are obviously less portable. There are several levels of ANC - I keep it in the middle because the higher levels have a noticeable hiss. I would not use these just for blocking out noise without listening to music (a shame because my A/C is quite loud).

My second Jabra air buds, my first was the Jabra 65t. This new one is the 85t it’s good great noise cancellation. Music wise the sounds could be better but it also has a great fit for working out you don’t have to worry your air buds are going to fall out and it also moisture resistant.

This the third set of Jabra wireless earbuds that I have owned, and each generation is markedly better. The Elite 85t have very good, although not necessarily great, ANC. These are definitely the most comfortable to wear for longer periods, at the size of the earbuds make them comfortable to wear with a winter hat.

Love the sound, the fit and the color. I can use these all day on conference calls without them being uncomfortable. The battery life will hopefully improve in the next version.

They are so great for people who are hard of hearing! Finally a brand that amplifies the sounds without distorting them. It even has a "hear through" setting that amplifies my surroundings. I use these instead of hearing aids. Will never use another brand again!

I got a great price match deal on these so the value for me was the biggest reason. That being said I was looking at the 75s. These are very good. Sound quality is good, the ANC is good. The app is simplified so it’s pretty easy to navigate. You have the ability to use EQ presets or save customs. You can customize the controls in the app for what the buds do when you tap them. Battery life has lived up to the specs. The case is pretty small. They stay in my ear very well.

If you can get a good fit, this is one of the better all-around set of truly wireless earbuds. It doesn't do anything especially great but it does almost everything pretty well. Fit: I find the oval-shaped eartips more comfortable than on the previous 75t models. However, I wasn't able to get a decent seal with the included eartips. Luckily, I was able to get my favorite Spintip eartips to fit - they even conformed to the oval-shaped stem, which was great. The fit is comfortable since they don't hang much over/out of the ear. I can wear them for hours comfortably now. The are relatively secure. I can do light activities without worry of them becoming dislodged but not the best for extremely strenuous activites - could be just my ears though. Sound: IMO, better than average sound quality, here, but not class-leading. They have better than average sound performance. Very customizable through the app. Nice bass punch. Lacking in clarity, and separation, in the high range for me. Noice-cancelling: Good, but again not great. I don't expect it to work miracles, though. I find the noise cancelling more than adequate for everyday use for the home office, road noise, and higher, droning background noises. Not great at filtering conversations out completely. Have not tried them on an airplane for low-level noise suppression. Doesn't appear to filter out much background noise from noisy environments when on a call but this isn't a requirement for me. Calls: Good. I can be heard with sufficient loudness and clarity according to my callers. Noteable details: - This is one of the few earbuds with a mute function on calls! I really appreciate this. - The vents really do make a difference in felt ear-pressure and reduces the impact sound of footsteps as well as the resonance of your own voice. This is, personally, much more comfortable with the oval eartip shape as well. I've heard that the vented design prohibits a higher ingress protection rating but IPX4 should be sufficient for my usage. - I really like the quality of the "hearthrough" function. - I don't really care if it has wireless charging but it's nice to have the option. - These buds are master/slave and can NOT be used independently (you can use the right side by itself). This really should be changed. - Usable bluetooth range is shorter than expected but sufficient for my purposes (I'm never really far from my devices when using bluetooth). Summary: I am new to the Jabra line (started recently with the Active 75t) but the 85t has become my all-around favorite truly wireless set as it can do everything rather well and do so comfortably. I still will keep certain other brands, though - for quality sound (Sony, Sennheiser, B&O), and for outdoor activities (Jaybird). Note: I am not part of the Apple ecosystem so Airpods do not come into the picture for me.

Purchased the Jabra Elite 85t True Wirelesss earbuds for my mother. Wanted something to use for both Android and Apple. These are great and work wonderfully. No issues and sounds great.

Great for work conference call as well as for use during extreme workout (CrossFit). Husband loves and uses these so much i bought him a back-up pair.

This is my first pair of Elite 85t earbuds after 4 elite or active elite 65/75. Cautionary note: all required replacing between a year and a year and a half due to loss of volume in one earbud (usually the left). I decided to step up to the Elite 85t (with replacement plan---a must) and have been pleased thus far (~10 days). The sole negative is the bud fit. I did not understand one reviewer's comment that it was a design change until I saw it and felt the difference. It does not feel as secure and requires adjustments when wearing while active (my primary use). While the 75t was lauded for its superior bass sound, it sometimes was too much. These seem to strike a better balance. I have not used them for conversations very often, but I appear to be heard well. One issue: my active elite 75t stayed connected to my phone and exercise bike without any extra effort from me. I have encountered some difficulty here: I will continue to troubleshoot it and see what happens.

These are a bit smaller than the Elite 65T which I had previously and thus somewhat more comfortable than the 65s. They fit well, but do occasionally feel like they might fall out, Especially when chewing. They're a bit harder to remove from the case than I'd prefer. The sound is better than the 65s, and I love the noise cancelling. It's as good as my Bose NC wired earbuds, or my Sony ANC neckband based ear buds. Battery life is fine. My biggest reason for picking these over the Sony or Bose true wireless ear buds is the ability to connect to multiple devices at once, something the competitors can't do.

Love these earbuds! I wasn’t in the market for new earbuds as my current pair worked just fIne. These were a part of a package deal and the very last item that I opened about a week later. Anyway, I’m entirely happy with and enjoy the sound quality of these earbuds. The noise canceling/hear through options, long battery life and ear comfort make these easy to wear during a long day at work. They’re also magnetic so you’re less likely to one and the app download makes set up and getting to know the earbuds quick and easy. I have not used them during a vigorous work yet and hope that they’ll pass the sweat test.

I just LOVE these earbuds. Advanced Active noise cancellation??? Top Notch!!!!! Great fit, great design, great battery life... I can go on and on and on!!!

Fantastic sound. I have had AirPods 2nd generation, Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 pro, Urbanista London, and Sony earbuds. These are hands down the best that I have had. The bass is very strong, vocals are crystal clear, and they pair instantaneously and switch seamlessly between my iPhone and iPad. Absolutely fantastic. They sound better than my Audio Technica ATH-M50 over ear monitor headphones. Noise cancelling is excellent.

Sound quality is great with these ear buds. I'll typically use these for workouts, outdoor yard work and for phone calls. The ability to swap between hear through and noise cancelling is a great feature. ANC mode for filtering background noise is impressive; almost all background noise (like a lawn mower, trimmer, etc.) is drowned out effectively. They are easy to set up and seem to last quite long on their charge. I have not yet had the ear buds die on me. The only downside to date is that they are not exactly cheap.

Sound quality is good but the noise cancellation is inadequate. Bose quiet comfort is a 10/10 while these Jabra headphones are 2/10. Other than the NC a good pair of wireless earbuds.
