I purchased these the other night and right off the bat I had issues. They paired to my iPhone 11 Pro Max just fine. The App though, refused to detect the earbuds. I did a factory default on the brand new earbuds dnd now the app detected them but each time I pull the buds out of the charging case I need to power cycle them for the all to detect them. On top of that the earbuds refuse to charge all of the way. They were plugged in all night and the left earbud says 90% and the right earbud displayed 81%. I will be returning these today. Also the sync delay issue is definitely noticeable between the right and left earbuds due to the fact that the right earbud is the one that pairs to your phone. If you are in an environment with a lot of RF going on, theee are not the buds to use. Also, sound wise they do have sibilance issues at times.

Hello jpb2277- Thank you for reaching out and writing a review for the Jabra Elite 85t. It is unfortunate that you are having trouble finding a secure fit. To improve your fit, you can:
1.) Try your earbud with each of the different EarGel sizes that comes with your earbud. The fit should feel light and comfortable.
2.) Check the fit with MyFit on the Jabra Sound+ app. MyFit checks the fit of each earbud to determine if a slight reposition or a different EarGel size can improve the fit.
It is nice to read that you are satisfied with the great sound quality! If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Jabra Support Team: https://bit.ly/3fDX6ig. Thanks again for sharing your feedback. We are here to help you! Jabra

I've had the jabra 65t and the 75t loved the 75t so I thought hey ill try the noise canceling...well its not that good...the earliest are now oval and none of the 3 thats included remotely fit me..and I usually am fine with medium tips on most tws sets...even with bigger drivers the sound isn't on par with the 75t...for 230 bucks there are better out there for less money

Hi Wayne- Thanks for taking the time to write a review of the Jabra Elite 85t, we really appreciate it. We are so happy to hear that you decided to try the Elite 85t after loving the Elite 75t. Since everyone's ears are shaped slightly differently, we recommend trying all of the different sized EarGels that come included in your package in order to find a fit that is snug, but not too tight. You may even need to mix and match the size of your EarGels per earbud. The three sizes of smooth, silicone oval eargels create a more secure, noise-canceling seal and should provide a more comfortable fit as your ear canal is not round. Furthermore, we strongly encourage you to check out our support article which details how to get the best fit with your Jabra Elite 85t: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-85t/100-99190000-02/faq/How-do-I-get-the-best-fit-with-my-Jabra-Elite-85t#/. My favorite Bluetooth headphones!!! So many wireless headphones now come with touch buttons, and I missed a physical button. These have them! They also have a quiz in the app so they can customize your hearing profile and experience.

While Jabra earbuds have always been pretty good, I really like the oval shaped tips of the 85t. If you ever have an issue with pnc earbuds, these will solve that issue.

Other than the price, I love the earbuds. The reason I choose the Jabra Elite over the Bose earbuds since they were about the same price - is the fact that I am able to pair the Jabra with my phone and tablet simultaneously. This is a huge bonus for me.

I purchased the Jabra Elite 65t the day they came out, because I wanted something wireless and in ear (earbuds). I loved my 65t’s, but after about an hour and a half my ear began to hurt. I tried all the different size silicone gels, but nothing helped. Fast forward to now, and what a difference the Jaba Elite 85t’s are. Jarbra has really improved on them. Having already downloaded the Jabra Sound+ App, which is a must in my opinion, you can manually pair the 85t’s but trust me, that would be like having a Corvette, and only starting it, Pairing is simple, you open the app, choose to pair a new Jabra, it takes you to another page that has every Jabra product listed. You select the 85t, take the beautifully made 85t’s out of their case, and Bluetooth 5.0 pairing begins. The app helps you to set the desired sound (MySound) and it is so “smart” once you use the equalizer, the sound is so amazing, and as Jabra says, its tailored just for yout. The great thing is its super simple and super quick. Jabra put a lot of time and effort to make the pair a seamless ordeal. Now to the earbuds. These earbuds are quality made. The color is Titanium Black, and they are beautiful. They are sleek, smooth, and to me (with the large oval silicone gels) way more comfortable than the 65t’s. Jabra technical page indicates the 85t has semi-open design w/ pressure relief vents, undoubtedly for me, they have improved in this aspect, I charged them, paired them, put them in my ears, as I worked in my wood working shop, activated the ANC and I wore them from Noon to 5pm, and never took them out. I received several phone calls and they sound was crystal clear. Jabra includes a really good instruction sheet on the taps, holds, etc. to answer calls, hang up, volume up/down etc. Read it. Study it. It takes time to get the hang of it, but trust me, you won’t be sorry. I love the fact the Jabra 85t is IPX4 rated, I don’t use them near water, but I do a lot of scroll saw work, and turning rings, pens, bowls, etc. on a wood lathe, and knowing they have a two-year extended warranty for dust and water is amazing. If you need a really, really well made earbuds, try the Jabra Elite 85t!
