I could hear everyone and they could hear me. The multipoint technology was awesome - I was able to connect my Windows laptop and android phone at the same time. It worked seamlessly. But in the end I had to return them. They wouldn't stay in my ear and I found them uncomfortable. I don't know how anyone uses the buttons on them because it was painful to press them. My husband has these and he LOVES them, they just weren't for me.

You can only use the right ear bud or both ear buds. With this issue, you cannot “stretch” the battery life of your earbuds (wear one until it dies, then pop the other earbud in while the other one charges). The reason for this is that only one ear bud is paired to the phone, the other earbud basically mirrors the other which is why they have to be 8 inches apart for the second one to turn on.

Posted .Hello Scooter- Thank you for writing a review of the Jabra Elite Active 65t. The Left Earbud of the Elite Active 65t has to be in range with the Right Earbud to function properly. The maximum range between the earbuds is 20cm/8in. Please feel free to use the Right Earbud independently. You can play/pause by pressing the multi-function button or by pausing from the phone. If you use the Right Earbud independently, the volume has to be controlled from the phone, and you have to skip tracks from the phone (since you are not using the Left Earbud). The Right earbud is where the Bluetooth connection between your phone and the Elite Active 65t is hosted. The Left Earbud is then connected to the Right Earbud through a different kind of connection (not Bluetooth), and that's why the Left Earbud will not work independently (since it does not have a Bluetooth connection with the phone). If it weren't for that, I loved them and would have kept them.
