Posted .Hello KandT- Thank you for your review on the Jabra Elite Active 65t. We are sorry for any inconvenience but the Right Earbud must be in range with the Left Earbud for the headset to function properly. If you would like to use the Right Earbud independently, you can play/pause by pressing the multi-function button or by pausing from the phone. If you use the Right Earbud independently, the volume has to be controlled from the phone, and you have to skip tracks from the phone (since you aren't using the Left Earbud). The Right earbud is where the Bluetooth connection between your phone and the Elite 65t is hosted. The Left Earbud is then connected to the Right Earbud through a different kind of connection (not Bluetooth), and that's why it won't work independently (since it doesn't have a Bluetooth connection with the phone).
