OMG!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Indescribable fit, comfort and sound! I tried these after my BOSE Soundsports died for the third time in 1.5 years. The 65T are much lighter than the BOSE and the sound is incredible! I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the the extra $50 is well worth it. In addition to the fit and function, the Jabra app has an equalizer that is easy to use and it also has hear through ability.

Great until it failed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very happy with these. phones and have recommended them to multiple people. Love the fit and sound. Why only 3 stars? - 1st star because the left earbud failed after approx 6 months. Luckily still in warranty. - 2nd star because it took the service dept weeks to get me a replacement when it was in stock and should have only taken days. Multiple calls and long hold times to finally get them going. They turned a happy customer into a frustrated customer. As of now I still like the product but if it fails again, the rating goes to 1 star.

Poor user experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these for a few days and, so far, I'm regretting the purchase. In a nutshell, I expect to be able to start using a product like this immediately, with no hassle or difficulty. That didn't happen. 1) The charging case is very difficult to open, which I attribute to poor design. 2) The left earbud would not turn on or connect - this is a known issue that is well documented online. It worked for me only after spending the night in the charging case. The right one immediately turned on and connected to my Apple Watch (Series 4). I can't explain the difference. I would expect both to have been shipped, brand new, fully charged and functional. 3) When I finally did get the left one to turn on, I could not keep both of them in my ear without one popping out. I did switch to the smallest rubber thing that is inserted into the ear but that didn't prevent the earbuds from falling out. 4) When one of them popped out, both became disconnected from my Apple Watch. I expected to be able to just put it in and keep listening to the music but, instead, I had to pair them again. 5) The earbuds don't seem to "snap" into the charging case so I'm not sure if they are making contact with the metal points. I'm assuming the lid holds them in place, but I think this is another example of the case's poor design. At this point, I'm not confident about being able to wear them out of the house or during exercise. The music sound quality was pretty good when they worked. I'm wondering if the Apple ones offer an immediate "plug and play" experience, stay in the ear, and come with an easier to use charging case. If so, I wish those were the ones I had purchased.

Posted .Hello KAB16 - We are glad that you enjoyed the sound quality while listening to music with your Jabra Elite Active 65t, although we are sorry to read that you have experienced troubles with the charging case and left earbud. We recommend a full charge before using the earbuds, but after that, you should be able to pair right away with your device. Additionally, the earbuds function in a way that, when one earbud is removed, audio is paused, but if the earbud is placed back in your ear within 60 seconds, audio will automatically resume. You can find more info about that here: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-active-65t#/FAQ/Can-I-use-just-one-of-my-Jabra-wireless-earbuds#100-99010000-02. Great is almost a understatement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Jabra 65t active ear buds for a day and could not be more pleased. The sound is the best I have had in a headphone in a while and the HearThrough feature works like a charm. But these buds do have some things to be aware of. First you have to download both jabras sound+ and jabra service app to adjust settings. Second when opening the case squeeze the sides then lift the lid. This will prevent excessive wear from prying it open. Third thing is try all the earbud tips and find what gives the best seal in your ear. I found the large set to work best for me when HearThrough is off I barely hear anything over a grumble with it on it sounds come in like I barely am wearing them

Great true wireless earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These true wireless earbuds are pretty great. I love the sound quality and the fact that both ear buds produce sounds when you are making a call. The mic quality is also pretty good (according to people on the other end of the line when I was talking to them). Although these buds don't have wing tips their fit is great (at least for me).

Better than AirPods
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these after losing my airpods and noticed an immediate difference. The sounds is much better, and the ability to control the ambient sound is great (good to hear surroundings when commuting) The app also allows you to adjust the equalizer. While not happy about losing my AirPods, I am very happy with upgrading to these. There are some who complain about the fit, but these fit me great. So, it would be based on personal preference / fit.

Is there something wrong with my head??
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I started my "wireless" journey with Sony earbuds and I LOVE them minus the fact that there is a cord between them. Anyway....I got these from Christmas from my mother in law and I was very impressed by the sound quality. It's great! However...the fit seems to be off - at least for me. The right ear always feels secure but the left ear is a different story. I can get the bud in there and have it secure but when I do that then I can't hear anything. So I end up adjusting the left ear and then I can hear, but then it starts wiggling out of my ear and I'm reaching and adjusting the dang thing every minute I swear. One time I was on the treadmill running and it FLEW out of my ear and over the wall and down onto the basketball court at my gym....LOVELY!! I was sure it was broken but it WASN'T!! Crisis averted! They're definitely sturdy little buggers. I really appreciate the sound quality and the style they achieved with these and the ease of use, but I HATE the fit with a passion. I hated them so much I was going to return them, but then I thought I found a compromise for how they wear and I was wrong on that one! I should have returned them and gotten something else with an over the ear hook on them. I love and hate these earbuds and it's too late for me to do anything about it. I've even tried all the different sizes and no difference at all. Maybe one day I'll figure it out and it will be fine, but until then...I'll continue to wear them and semi hate them.

We regret, however, that you are having a difficult time finding a secure fit with your left earbud. Great while they worked...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality was really quite good, as was the noise cancelling feature, which was very important to me as I used these for outdoor exercise. The problems: First, in order to connect them to my iPhone, I often had to delete them from the list of devices in Settings > Bluetooth, and then re-pair them, something I haven't had to do with other devices. Second, the Bluetooth connectivity was a bit spotty; I usually carry the phone in my shorts pocket, or in an arm holder, and still during the course of an hour or so walk, I'd have a lot of dropouts. As I type this, I'm wearing my Bose QuietComforts, and I have never, once, had a dropout, unless I walk some distance away from my phone. Third, and the last straw, was that after about 6 weeks, the right earbud suddenly lost 85% of its volume and nothing would bring it back. I examined the earbud very closely under a headlamp with a jeweler's loupe and there was no blockage. Deleting and reinstalling the Jabra app did nothing, and deleting and re-pairing the earbuds also had no effect. So, even with the good sound quality, given the price point, I am quite disappointed with the Jabra Elite. Into the cabinet they go, and I'll be trying different brands now.

Great sound but they fall out easily.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome sound. Very easy to set up. The Jabra App enhances the functionality of the headphones. Easy one touch buttons and you do not need to push hard where it hurts your ears. Water resistant which is a major plus for working out. Why the three stars? They easily fall out when working out especially during heaving sweating.

They may work well for you
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was enthusiastic to purchase these earbuds based on glowing reviews and because I wanted a truly wireless option to go with my new iPhone. (At least 90% of my use is for hiking and trail running.) I used them twice on my regular hike/run outing. They were okay the first time, but the second time, I lost track of the number of times the left earbud fell out of my ear. And yes, I experimented with the different sizes of ear tip seals to try to get the best fit. In fairness, I've had problems before with earbuds seating snugly in my left ear, but not to this extent. Also, although they were somewhat uncomfortable the first time, my second time using these, they were borderline painful wearing them for 50 minutes. For them to fit properly, you have to press them into your ear and twist to snug them in place. Jabra needs to do more work on the fit/comfort continuum. The sound quality, even when they were snugly in place, was inferior to the $150 (wired) Bowers & Wilkins C5 I've been using. Finally, the charging case which seems to work well, is ridiculously difficult to open. I could've lived with the case issue if the earbuds stayed comfortably in place. YMMV.

Posted .Hello JF52 - Thank you for your feedback regarding the Jabra Elite Active 65t. The Elite Active 65t has been designed and tested to fit many ear sizes and shapes, so it is rare that it does not fit properly. We are sorry that you had trouble finding the best secure and comfortable fit with the provided ear gels, and that you had difficulty opening the charging case. The charging case should open easily when applying light pressure to the lines on the front of the case. When closing the case, you should hear a soft click. We might suggest that you check out the Jabra Elite Sport, as the fit is slightly different, including both ear gels and ear wings. The Elite Sport is also designed to withstand intense workouts, such as the hiking and running that you describe in your review. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us: https://www.jabra.com/ServiceMenu/contact/ContactJabraSupport/ContactJabraSupportConsumer. We will be happy to help! Very good but not perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using these for a couple days, I can say that I genuinely like them. I've used them for phone calls at work, intense cardio at the gym, and for just listening to background music while working while only wearing one bud. A word of caution, if you are not used to wearing earbuds, they must be positioned perfectly to achieve the best possible sound quality. When I first used these, I was disappointed by the lack bass but after switching to the largest included tips, I found they buds fit perfectly and sound quality was greatly improved! Overall, sound quality is "very good" but if you've used quality buds before, these are not going to "blow your socks off" either. Given that these are completely sweat proof, I'm happy with the way they perform. My only gripe, and the reason I'm taking away one star, is they just don't get as loud as I would like. I find that leaving these set to max is equivalent to a couple notches down compared to my Klipsch wired pair. This is rarely a problem as max is just about right for me when listening to music while on a cardio machine but every once in a while, I want more volume and it's just not there. In summary, I like these buds quite a bit but I might end up returning them and going for the more expensive offering from Sennheiser. Even though those aren't billed as "sweat proof" I doubt it will be a problem.

Amazing Sound Quality!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality and sound, amazing! Im only giving it a 4 star rating because setting up the app to use the Sound+ app meant contacting customer support. All you have to do to get it working is reset the connection between your phone and the buds, however, for the price tag, they should be able to connect on the first try. It kind of ruins the excitement.

Horrible Design is a big risk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For some people this design will never be secure and comfortable. I found out the hard way. To what extent all the other products in this line share this same problem is a good question. I had a pair of cheap in ear only true wireless headphones that I was using for working around the house, biking and running. But their microphones were useless for making calls and I had occasional issues with them falling out of my ear. I bought a pair of these Jabras because of the reported call quality and because the little extra tab they have supposedly creates a more secure fit when they are inserted into the ear with a bit of a twist. The former was true but as far as fit is concerned there is a very bad design issue which makes them unusable for me and I would assume some others. They would not stay in my ears. I tried all of the enclosed ear-cups. I tried all sorts of motions putting them in. Finally they were painful from it twisting to try to get them to lock in place. Then I tried to use the ear-cups from other earphones that I knew fit me well. It was better but I found a problem - I couldn't close the charging case with them in. I had to compress these ear-cups to get it to close so I took them off and compared the Jabra cups with several other set I have. I I compared the thickness by placing them facing up on a flat surface. The Jabras were shorter than all the others by a fair margin. That is a significant design flaw when viewed from the outcome I experienced. I determined in my mind to return the painful, aggravating things the next weekend but on Thursday I decided to use them to take a conference call while multitasking at work. While walking across a parking lot the right one (I didn't have the left one is as I was just using the phone) sprang out of my ear like a Trident missile. I put the call on speaker and spent the next hour looking under cars trying to find it. I used the "Find my Jabra" app. Useless. Attempts to try to return them were failures, of course, and Jabra's customer service department offered to give me a discount on a new set. When I pointed out that would do me no good could they give me a deal on just a right earbud so I could try to return the full set they told me to get lost. Beware of purchasing the and using this product or any others from this company of similar design.

Jabra Elite Active 65t Is The "Best?"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a sad state of product development when Jabra's Elite Active 65t (& Elite 65t) are considered one of, if not THE "best" bluetooth totally wireless earbuds available. Professional reviewers rave about them. Their value, their sound quality. Despite the carriculum vitae of the pro reviewers, the whole state of totally wireless bluetooth earbuds must be pretty awful to warrant such glowing accolades. I'm not a pro reviewer, just an experienced gadget guy with an audio background I'll put up against any of the pro's qualifications (play professionally, operate a pro recording studio, experienced, educated, & IQ>average). Here's my impression, the bad, good, & "meh." (This is the 7th pair of totally wireless bluetooth stereo earbuds I've bought, & probably my 30th or so bluetooth earbuds/headphones I've had over the past decade+) Bad: 1. To get them in properly, I basically had to screw them into my ears, forcing the tips into my ear-canals by pushing while rotating. I don't like the requisite ritual of screwing something into the side of my head. 2. They hurt. I'm using the smallest of the 3 supplied earbud cups. The other cups were so large the earbuds wouldn't stay put. These smallest cups are still painful. 3. They're way too expensive. There's what, maybe $3 worth of parts in there? $5? The price is obscene. Good: 1. The whole listening-to-ambient-sound feature is cool. More manufacturers should do this. How hard is it? 5 lines of code? The microphone & speaker are right there, connected, in the same earbud. It can't be THAT hard. It takes a totally-wireless bluetooth earbud user about 9 seconds of actual use to realize they need this capability. Good for Jabra for implementing such an obvious feature. 2. They look not completely terrible. Wearing earbuds like this already screams "geek," so anything to tone that down is good. *Technically* they're looks warrant a "meh," but since these aren't as awful looking as many, I'll give them a gold star in the design category. That said, there are some earbuds that look much better, are much smaller, & still boast decent operating time per charge. 3. The carrying case/charger is nice. It's compact and looks good. 4. The 4-mic system makes for good audio for people you call. 5. Jabra has apps. So far they've all been useless, but they're there, so even though they get a D on execution, I give them an A for effort. 6. They sport a decent set of features, specifically the ambient-sound mode, and the multiplicity of phone-control functions (next-track, volume, etc.) Meh: 1. Sound quality just isn't all that great. Reviews rave about it. Honestly, I'd say it's "fair" for a bluetooth earbud, and pretty "awful" if you compare it to something not even that stellar, like external bluetooth speakers. For the price, these things should ROCK, sound-wise. They don't. They kind of wimper. They are relatively flat frequency-wise, so that's good, but they distort along the entire range, even at moderate volume. Music lacks clarity and gets lost in that morass of distortion. It's not so bad for pop or rock, but for demanding music or listeners, these don't achieve sonic quality above "okay." Sadly, I have a pair of stereo bluetooth earbuds that cost 25% what these cost and sound better. 2. I hate to complain about manufacturing defects in reviews, because anybody could get a bad unit. I did. If these cost $30, I wouldn't complain, I would just chalk it up to cheap mass-production. For something that costs this much, I EXPECT QC. The button on the left earbud is hard to push, and doesn't push straight in to activate like the right one does. I have to press hard, & not in the center to activate it. It's as if there's something jammed in there, or whatever physical connection exists between plastic button & physical switch is assembled defectively. Considering the price these demand, there is no excuse for this. Jabra, this isn't your first rodeo. QC is "basic" requirement of any manufactured product. Get your head in the game. 3. They could be smaller. They should be smaller. I know it's possible to pack decent drivers into a smaller space, because I have other earbuds that do. For the price, they could have shrunk size by using more exotic technology, like moldable lithium-ion batteries. There's plenty of companies that make these, many of them right there in Korea where Jabra is headquartered. Again, "guys, for the price, you coulda hit up your neighbors for a cool battery molded into the shape of the earbud's exterior." Overall, these earbuds are okay. For the price, they are a horror-show. They are not worth what they cost. If the sound was much better & they didn't hurt my ears, I'd wince at the high-cost, but begrudgingly bear the cost-burden. When you add in those two SIGNIFICANT "bads" they drop themselves out of the "barely-acceptable" category straight into the "no-way" category of customer satisfaction.

Good features but hurts my ear
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a hard time finding true wireless earbuds that I liked so I ended up trying three before I found ones that worked for me. Posting the review for all three in case someone else is interested in all three models. First I started with my wife’s air buds. They were good but I didn’t like 2 things about them (that I later figured out were not real issues). First they just did not seam very secure in the ears and I wanted to be able to fast forward by touching the earbud vice my phone. So I got the Jabra elite active 65t. Really good functionality and had the features I wanted. Only problem was they actually hurt my ears. Tried different buds (had a lot of different ones to try) but they all made my ear more sore. It was especially painful when pushing the buttons. If it would have had virtual buttons vice actual push buttons it would have been better. So took those back Next i tried the Jlab epic air. I really liked these ones. They fit well would not fall off, easy to pair and buttons worked well. I like how it came with its own charging cable but the box was a little big compared to the other boxes. I would have kept these ones if they would have worked. The problem was the Bluetooth just kept disconnecting randomly for a second or two at a time. And when my phone was in my pocket it was even more frequent. So these went back also. So I tried the apple air buds again and discovered things I really liked about them. First the only time they really came loose and fell out was when I inadvertently hit them. When eating they would get a little loose but never fall out. However I think this is very depended on your ear because the air buds do not have changeable rubber buds for the ends like all the other ones. For my wife and I they worked great but my son said they were too big for his ears. Second is you can actually change what the double button tap controls. So I was able to set it to track advance so i could jump commercials on news programs. The really nice feature is you can make both left and right buds have the same functions or they can each do something different. For me I liked having them be the same because unlike the other ear buds with the air buds you could use the left or right by itself and all functions would worked. This is very convenient for long trips and I like being able to hear with my other ear to my surroundings. With a iPhone it was really really easy to pair. With the charger/storage box you can always have one of the buds charging while using one. So you never run out of a charged air bud. The charging case is really small and holds a good charge. Not really sure how many charges you can get but I got several individual charges. One trick i figured out that Apple doesn’t seam to mention is if you have the charging case real close to your iPhone when opening it (like almost touching) you can see the charge on both buds and the case. Overall I am very happy with the air buds .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
