Come for the looks & features--stay for the sound!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At nearly 200 reviews to date, it's hard to say anything new about these that you probably haven't seen already. And given their price, my guess is that you've already dome some research and you're probably more interested in seeing just how many positive reviews these are still raking in after spending a while on the market. In my case, I can say that I'm duly impressed with the performance and ESPECIALLY the sound quality, and can say definitively that these were worth the purchase. Truth in advertising--I desperately wanted to like the Airpods; the slick, automatic recognition and integration with iDevices is simply a sight to behold and a true marvel of modern usability. But I'm one of those seemingly not-so-small minority Apple owners whose ears don't accommodate Airpods securely. To date, my wireless needs have been met with the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and Jaybird X2...but true wireless, that's where these come in. I knew if I was going to enjoy completely untethered wireless music, I was going to have stick something down the old ear canal. The in-ear fit is totally secure, even without wings--and the rubber tips Jabra uses, as opposed to the Comply foam tips I've been used to on the Jaybird, are just as comfortable during sedentary listening (on a plane) or while active/working out. As a torture test, I cleared brush for nearly 2 hours wearing these in the hot Alabama summer--between constant bending, stooping, pulling (cursing), sweating, splashing, and twisting, these earbuds stayed in place and never gave the impression that they might start to move even with just a little more sweat or cooling mist. I can't speak to the IP rating system per se, but I do know that these handled sweat, splashed pool water, and cooling dunks under a hose without missing a beat. Now, when I run, I don't like to handle my music player--stick the Nano in the armband and just go. In that sense, the remote volume and function controls on the Sennys and the Jaybirds spoiled me on what to want/expect from a wireless set of earbuds. Thankfully these deliver on functionality despite the tiny form factor--I can change volume, activate Siri, skip tracks...and do other new stuff too, like activate HearThrough...which I thought was going to be a gimmick, but turned out to be very useful when I decided to running again outside and wanted to ensure I wasn't missing that errant car horn or barking dog about to bite me. And when the phone is nearby, the Jabra app, though a bit rudimentary looking, does have some very useful features including preset modes for commuting, focus/studying, and even white-noise generators (or waterfalls, or oceans, or rainfall, etc.) that, while not a critical part of my purchase decision, are definitely a welcome addition for the one or two times I might want to pretend I'm sitting at a beach while still at work! But what won me over was the sound quality. I did a LOT of research before dropping the cash on these earbuds and consistently it seemed like the preponderance of reviewers were happy to ecstatic over the sound quality provided, usually only citing the Bose in some cases as edging out the Jabra. I didn't care for the massive jelly bean look of the Bose units, and while I'm all about the convenience and features provided here (even the ones I didn't know they had), it really was good sound I was after most of all in a true wireless kit. That being so, these definitely delivered. Bass was full bodied without being muddy or imprecise and highs/vocals were clear and pleasant; I didn't detect any sibilant notes in female vocals or other high frequencies. No, these aren't Focal Utopia level performers--there is, after all, a limit to just how much data you can push over Bluetooth anyway--but for what they are, they truly sounded fantastic (IMHO), not muted or veiled, and they seemed to keep perfect sync with the movies I watched on my iPhone X despite lacking any explicit low latency aptX capabilities. Again, there are PLENTY of other reviews here and on other sites for which you can plumb to get a sense of what to expect from these buds. By and large, most of the superlatives seem to have turned out to be true--at least in my case--it was a gamble, sure, to buy something without the ability to audition them first, but the gamble definitely paid off. My only niggle is the case...the plastic catch that keeps the lid closed feels like it's destined to shear off at some point; a magnetic closure would have been a welcome upgrade. Otherwise, I've yet to have a complaint about the features, performance, or sound quality on these little doodads. If you are looking for IEM-style wireless buds, these should definitely be near the top of your "strongly consider" list!

the best non fruit company wireless earphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, please look at the photo I uploaded. The box for the Jabra 65T is deceiving and makes these earphones look HUGE. They are small (see quarter for size) and fit snugly in your ear without any weird bits hanging off the side like you have decided to wear rechargeable toothbrush heads in your ears. Now... review. In the box. Earphones, Charging Case, USB cable, additional tips, instruction leaflet. The tips out of the box worked for me, no need to change. Pairing on my iPhone was straight-forward. After you connect it prompts you to install a Jabra app. You are able to listen to music and make calls without the app, but the app is needed for software updates. Notably, the pairing voice is a real human sound, not those weird computerized voices you get on other devices. Audio Quality. This is the BIG Thing. Audio quality is amazing. Having rubber seals these are great for noise isolation and as a result, deliver great audio sound (tested on Spotify) and call audio. Noise isolation is AMAZING on these that they almost feel like noise canceling - one of the reasons the app has pass-through mode option. Call Quality. Call quality is excellent but note that only the right earbud is the microphone. Controls: Left earphone. The Jabra silver thing is a physical button. You can use it to adjust the volume. One direction volume up, the other volume down. A longer hold lets you skip tracks. Right earphone. Long hold pairs. A quick tap pauses music or answers/disconnects calls. A 1 second hold launches Siri. You can't change your voice assistant but it promises "Alexa coming soon" in the app. Yes, the Jabra 65Ts automatically pause music when you remove them from your ear. Negatives. The only reason I deducted a star is that the earphones case doesn't hold the Jabra 65Ts snug/magnetically. The kind of just sit on top of the case. There's no risk the case will open (it locks tight) and when it closes the earphones make a solid connection with the charger. But I WISH the earphones attached magnetically when in the case. A few times I opened it the wrong way and the 65Ts spilled onto the floor. Verdict. Love them. Works flawlessly with my iPhone. Love the slim profile. The pink noise feature in the app is awesome but also love the ocean waves (peace and quiet in the office!) Jabra - make a better case and I'll give you a 5! Let's talk! Recommended The included instruction leaflet is light on detail, full manual is here. https://www.jabra.com/_/media/Product-Documentation/Jabra-Elite-65t/user-manual/Elite-65t-User-Manual.pdf

The Truly Wireless Bluetooth You Want
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Are you a runner, a gym-rat, a gardener, a dog-walker or just someone that likes to shop to a beat? Well, these are the bluetooth, with the hands-free capabilities to keep you moving. I kid you not. The Jabra Elite active 65 are super comfortable and well connected for the hours ( 5+ hours per charge, in most cases.) you will be wearing them. Water and dust resistant. Truthfully, you should be ordering a pair while you read this review. Really. They are that darn good. We’ve got the standard charging cable, no brick. Your Getting started guide booklet. 2 extra ear gummies to find your perfect fit. Two very well designed earbuds and that sweet charging case. Mine were charged and ready to use right out of the box. We’ve got the standard charging cable, no brick. Your Getting started guide booklet. 2 extra ear gummies to find your perfect fit. Two very well designed earbuds and that sweet charging case. Mine were charged and ready to use right out of the box. There’s an option to toggle ambient noise on or off so you can hear your surroundings if you need to. These Jabra Elite active 65t are amazing. They come in a couple colors. Titanium/Black & Copper/Blue. The only bad thing I can possibly say is, They may actually fit too well, for some people and you may already have enough step counters. But honestly, that feature is just a bonus, anyway. There is no reason to not own these truly wireless earbuds. I recommend them to anyone with a bluetooth compatible device. Anything really! Iphone , Ipod, Android phone, tablet, chromebook, laptop/notebook even PC. Bottom line. Go get these things and thank me later. Best Wireless Earbuds!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these after trying both the Jabra Elite Sport and the Jaybird Runs. I could not fall in love with either for different issues. I’m an avid runner so I needed something sport oriented and the Elite 65t’s had received great reviews. When I saw these were available I jumped! They are everything I expected and more! They have EXCELLENT sound quality (even though it would be nice if it had preset EQ settings) and are very comfortable. They do not move in your ears at all surprisingly. They are very simple to use and connect and have a nice look to them. They isolate noise very well and the hear through feature is a nice touch. I’ll have to see on the longevity of them but they feel solid.

Good Once You Know How to Insert Them
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite Active 65t have a lot of great features like auto-pause when you remove them, and ambient sound toggle (Jabra calls this HearThrough). • It took a while to figure out how to insert them properly and get a good seal. This is mentioned in documentation but the trick is to make sure to twist the buds so that the mic stem is point down towards your mouth. Anatomically speaking, make sure the mic stem is rotated past the tragus of your ear – see attached photo. • I am no audiophile but I find the sound quite acceptable. • The app to adjust the sound changes the equalizer and the HearThrough ambient mic depending on what you’re doing, not by what you’re listening to. For example, the jogging mode and the commute mode turn on ambient HearThrough mic so you can hear traffic etc, and increase treble on the equalizer. The office mode turns off HearThrough. I think it makes sense to toggle HearThrough based on my activity. But I'd rather have the equalizer itself be determined by what I'm listening to, not what I'm doing. • Regardless of the app, you can toggle HearThrough with a double press of a button on the right bud as well. The HearThrough is a very useful feature. • The overall shape and texture of the buds makes them slippery. When trying to insert them, it's easy for your fingers to slip and toggle one of the buttons. Not a deal killer, but annoying. • The sound from one of the buds occasionally loses connection and drops. I have this issue with other wireless buds, though these Jabra buds recover quicker. If you’re in the market for a set of wireless earbuds, give these a shot, but be sure to insert them properly else you will be disappointed.

Defective left earbud or charging case
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not happy with the Jabra Elite Active 65t. It was purchased as a gift and the left earbud was never able to hold a charge. I reached out to the Jabra Support site and followed everything they told me to troubleshoot the issue and still no resolution. The right earbud is able to charge at 100% but left earbud still shows 0%. Possible bad charging case or earbud but Jabra refusing to reppllace!

Best All Around Performer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.-=First Impressions=- Typical Jabra presentation with secure and simple packaging. My first thoughts were "these look so business/corporate, they could replace my Plantronics Voyager Edge". Fitting took some getting used to, but once I found the right tips they did not fall out or move at all. Initially, you may feel discomfort while trying to find YOUR proper ear tips, but that goes away fairly quickly. These are pure quality and built to last! The case is pocket sized and fits nicely in the palm your hand. The Elite Active 65t buds are a little bigger than a nickel. It is going to take some practice for one handed operation. I wish there was a way to get more accurate battery representation for the case in app or a light bar/indicator. Sound isolation is very good and I think these are the most well balanced for music and voice calls. The best part is you will NOT look like Frankenstein with these in your ears! I love the low profile build of these. Things I like: +Bluetooth 5.0 - the range and stability is greatly improved with Bluetooth 5.0. +Motion Sensors - can count steps to start. I believe there will be more functions via app updates. It is slightly inaccurate by 5-10 steps. +Total Wireless Solution - no wires bouncing on your neck or sticking to you when you work out. No more accidental tugging to annoy you when you are running. Lightweight and can go hours without noticing them. +Build Quality/IP56 - splash proof and dust proof. Offers 2yr warranty on IP56 protection! Built like tanks! +Fit - the fit was perfect and not one single movement during my run or workout. I ran about 5 miles and then did my weight routine. Not a single wiggle. Great job Jabra! +Quick Charge - a quick 15-minute charge provides up to 90 minutes of play time! +Case - has battery reserve of 2 charges. That means 10 hours in the case and 5hrs on the headphones for 15hrs total. +Battery Life - I can probably get a week's worth of use before needing to recharge the case. Easily makes it through a few gym sessions. Top end battery life of all other options out there. +Sound - nice balanced sound. Not too bass heavy and not sharp in highs. I would say it is a sound profile similar to Jaybirds. These have great sound isolation though. +Mono/Stereo - these can be used in stereo or mono. Use only the right side if you want to have a single Bluetooth experience +Call Quality - in stereo these are amazing. Callers cannot tell if I am using a Bluetooth or not. +Pass Through Sound - these use the on-board mics to allow sound in so you can hear around you while listening to music. +Sound Synced - there is no latency between video playback and audio in my ears. It is perfect and not a complaint in this department. +Look - looks nice, business/executive styling. Very subtle and no not attract much attention. +Ambient Sound - Double tap the left ear for instant almost hearing aid like external sound. Things I would change: -No aptX - no support for aptX or aptXhd. Sound quality is good, but this should be standard for all wireless headphones with BT5.0 -Button Placement - after some practice, I have figured out where things are. The left ear controls are difficult to find and press. -Buttons - the left side buttons are very stiff and require a LOT of pressure to activate. This make the earbud uncomfortable since you press into your ear to activate. -Charging - you're only able to charge in the cradle. If anything happens to it, you will probably have to shell out more cash as they require a proprietary pin charger. -No Tracking - there should be some sort of way to blast sound to these in case you lose them. An alert with last known location should be an option when out of range. -No USB C - it's unbelievable we are still using micro USB in 2018. I worry I may break the connector since everything I own now has USB C. -Case - I would like to see a light bar or indicator LCD that shows battery level. One light isn't good enough for me. Also, it is tough to use with one hand. It takes practice but can be done. Maybe wireless charging in the case would be nice as well. -Voice Commands - there is a terrible delay in the time you say "answer" and the time the call is answered using voice commands -=The Verdict=- These are the perfect all around earbuds. They are a perfect balance of call audio and flat audio profile for music which you can customize to your taste. If you want new Bluetooth headset, these are a buy. They offer versatility without sacrificing call quality and music quality. These are built to last.

Huge upgrade over my old Jaybird X3s!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm no audiophile, but I like to listen to music while running. Here's why I'm so impressed with these: Good sound quality (to my untrained ears). Has an equalizer feature in the app if you want to adjust. Testing it with my phone, it supports the HD audio codec AAC, but not aptX or any others. I'm able to get a good seal with largest tips. Much more robust connection. I don't even have a Bluetooth 5 phone yet, but even so, these lose connection far less than my X3s did. Much nicer to use. No wires at all to futz with. Only 5 hours, but x3 with the case. Charging in the case and charging the case itself is much easier and less finicky. You open the case and they connect automatically. You remove them from your ear and they pause automatically. They stay very securely in place for me. Very nice! Pass through: Double tap to hear things around you, amplified from the microphone. Double tap again to passively block. Great for switching between trails and roads. Great phone call quality, and works very well with the Google Assistant. My X3s, not so much. Sweatproof/rainproof, with a two year warranty. My Jaybird X3s died in a year and a half, with a one year warranty... But...WHY NO USB-C??? This is a premium product, it should have premium charging. Now I need to carry a C-microB dongle. Arrgh, a big pet peeve. Overall: Nearly perfect!

The best true wireless headphones on the market!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own three pairs of true wireless headphones and have tried at least six others. I frequently have headphones in my ears when I'm not at work. I wear headphones a lot - for audiobooks, podcasts, music, shows, and games on my phone and computer. These are by far the best ones I've found on the market. They fit snugly in your ear canal, helping to block out ambient noise when it isn't wanted. The pass-through audio is great when needed. The water resistance is sufficient for most daily needs. The battery life is above average. The Bluetooth range and strength of connectivity is better than many others I've tried. The form factor and carrying case are small and unobtrusive compared to many others out there. These headphones have nearly everything I hoped for in this technology. The one thing I would love to see is better waterproofing, but the IP56 on the active model is sufficient for most things - just not water activities. If you're in the market for true wireless, don't waste your money on more expensive and less capable models (Airpods look silly and do nothing to block ambient noise around you), give these a try!

great for outdoor runs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am happy with these, but they are a relatively new technology so there are still kinks to work out. They don't fall out when I run, so that's a huge plus. They are also pretty comfortable and I don't even really notice that they're in while I run. I struggle to get the second earpiece (left ear) to turn on right away, so that is annoying. The wind is also noticeable, but I live in a windy area. It is slightly worse than the wind when I used Apple ear pods. The microphone seems to work well and people don't struggle to hear me or anything during a call. I am also impressed with the battery life - I run 30-50 minutes a day, and can use these for an entire week before they need to be charged. I think the biggest surprise was the sound quality, because they sound great compared to all the other in-ear headphones I've used (Apple and Beats). Overall, I am very happy with these and have recommended them to several friends.
