second pair was almost perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First pair had a flaw, showed (and demonstrated) zero battery life after about 10 seconds even though batteries were full. Exchanged them for a new pair which works pretty much as advertised. These earbuds are not perfect by any means (short battery life, struggle if they are not connected to a phone i.e. my TomTom Spark which works great with wired bluetooth earbuds, but with the Jabras essentially when it's at all windy the signal goes in and out, workout app is 'limited' if you're more athletic and do customized workouts), but this is early yet very sophisticated tech in that there is a lot crammed into a small space, and competitors i.e. Bragi (lots of connection problems), Kanoa (way delayed), Apple (was delayed now finally out) etc. are not having an easy go of it. Sound is very good if not excellent. The fit is great (though it would have been helpful if it was explained that the small ear fitters were already on the unit because I unknowingly tried to overlay the others on them and they kept falling off). These are somewhat away from perfect, but they are reliable (biggest problem with many others) and it's only 2016/7 and one has to buy wireless bluetooth earbuds knowing they will not be the same in a couple of years. I would buy again, for sure.

Great for runners. Great customer service.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great for runners. Not having and wires bouncing is killer. The fit is great and easily connects to my iPhone 6. The app that goes along with it is great. Tells the battery left, tracks heart rate, and lots of other things. My right earbud was having issues so I call the customer support. I called on a Monday and not only did they send a replacement for free it came on Wednesday. I understand sometimes things are going to get fussy, but if the company can make it right that makes me like the product even more.

Best truly wireless you can buy today
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After preordering the Kanoa buds and then giving up on them after the latest missed release deadline, I've been on the search for another set of truly wireless ear buds for using at the gym and working in the yard. I thought I had the right one with the Bragi Dash 2.1, but they were simply terrible. I went through two pairs and returned them both because the left ear wouldn't respond to pairing or any touches on both sets. It took over 2 weeks for each response from Bragi's terrible support team so, I returned them and began looking again. I determined the Jabra Elite Sport was going to be the set I should wait for. I was apprehensive about preordering yet another set of earbuds, considering I just exited the Kanoa debacle earlier. However, I had faith that Jabra, a longtime industry leader, could pull it off if anybody could. When they missed the first deadline at the end of October, I was thinking, "Here we go again". However, the website said they'd be out in November. I decided not to cancel the order and wait it out. When they arrived, I couldn't wait to give them a try. To my surprise, everything worked straight out of the box as it was supposed to. The ear gels, the charging case, the audio transparency feature, everything. The sound quality for these buds is better than the Jaybirds I had before for the gym. I had no problems with range and, as a pleasant surprise, my Polar M600 immediately recognized the Jabra Elite Sport as a Bluetooth LE Heart Rate monitor and proactively asked me if I wanted to use it for my workout. All in all, they are on the pricey side but they seem to be rock solid, good sounding, and exhibit no issues with bluetooth range. I'm set with these. I think Kanoa missed the boat now that these are on the market.

Best true wireless headphones on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying out the wireless Jaybird X2 and the Sol Republic wireless earbuds and finding that both kept falling out of my ears during runs, I decided to return them and give the Jabra Elite Sport a try. FINALLY I found a pair of truly wireless earbuds that STAY IN my ears no matter what I do. Plus the sound is amazing and the hear through feature is key. With it activated, you don't have to take them out to talk to to someone and you can hear traffic while listening to music on your run if you want to. Or if you don't want to hear any ambient noise, you can just turn the feature off with a double click on the earbud and you won't hear a thing in the outside world. Oh and it handles phone calls flawlessly, too, thanks to Jabra's industry-leading telephone headset technology. These are very pricey but worth every penny!

Excellent product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these In Ear Headphones for everyday training basis and I have been more than pleased. They do take some time to find the right tight fit, but once you find it, they sound amazing. They do stay in place even if you shake your head, bounce up an down, so if running is what you do, they are great. The HearThrough is pretty good. I think the weakest point is the mic, it does it job, no more, no less. I haven't had yet any issues with the Bluetooth connectivity with the iPhone. Yes I did hesitate in purchasing these headphones due to that new W1 chip (Beats headphones/earphones), but no regrets there. The Jabra app is pretty good and you can upgrade your firmware through the app. I absolutely do recommend these headphones after trying out many in ear headphones

I liked it but....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought the headset was comfortable and I thought that it had good sound quality on my end. However, everyone who I spoke to said they heard an echo. A bad Echo. I went and purchased a second one thinking maybe it's just something wrong with that particular unit. the one I exchanged it out for also had a bad Echo. I thought it was a nice headset but too bad about the echo.

Almost perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these to workout. I have had them for almost 3 months and they haven't fallen off once, even though I sweat a lot. They really don't feel snug either. The controls are fairly simple to use and in the beginning, i would have to pair them a couple of times. They are really easy to use, you take them out, lightly push the button on the right one and you are good to go. Take them off, put them in the charger and they are off, no need to hold and press a button. The only negative comment I have about the sound is that because of the way the fit, you don't really get much bass sound. The bass is there because if I am adjusting them, i can hear it, but, the way they fit naturally, the earphone feels far away and therefore I don't get a lot of bass. I have tried different buds, but nothing helped. The "hook" ear piece has moved or slipped out, but it wasn't a big deal.

The only acceptable wireless earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel compelled to write this review to help others avoid my struggle. I started with Bose Soundsport Free. I've owned many previous Bose earbuds and i love their combo of sound and fit. That applied to the soundsport free as well. But the video delay sent them straight back. These have a TIIIINNNNNY and acceptable delay (and i haven't updated my firmware yet). #winning Fit: a little fatiguing but veeeery stable Sound: Get The fit right, install the app, on par with bose (wish i could control earbud volume from the app instead of pressing hard into my skull). Ease of connectivity: very easy Launch and shutdown: weird. Literally have to power up and down. Plus if the left is too far from the right it cuts off but doesn't pause music. Battery life: too soon to tell Overall i have a strong suspicion these will be keepers. Oh p.s. Phone calls on BOTH ears!

Great Sound Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS: So I bough this in favor over the other lower model version " Jabra - Elite Active 65t True Wireless Earbud Headphones - Copper Navy" Due to the hear rate monitor that you can use while working out. It's very accurate when in use. I compared the heart rate against the multiple cardio machines in the gyn they are identical feedback. I love using the jabra sport app that you can Download along with it. The immediate feedback of someone being in my ear telling me my heart rate my cadence my performance every 3 minutes is awesome. Sounds almost like the female Jarvis from Iron man. I haven't testes all the ear buds fitting for the ear canal So i just went with the biggest one earbud for now. The facet that the carrying case comes with a built in wireless recharger is awesom also. I never have to worry about my earbuds being fully discharged before I go the the gym again. CONS: you dont get the equalizer feature like the other model provides Jabra - Elite Active 65t Which is fine but i did find a work around using Spotify Music App they have their own built in equalizer they is fair. The little nipples on the earbuds that locks into place on your ear is somewhat painful at first. Human ear was not design to withstand that kinda poking IMO. However there is an alternative ear supports that also includes nipple less setting you can change out. still yet to try that out. Overall this is a great product for now it really is in line with supporting what i mainly need it for the gym and monitoring my heart rate. I was a little skeptical about the price point and concern with longevity of the product but with My 2 Year warranty protection plan I have no worries because I know BEST BUYS got my back. Enjoy.

Well worth the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these about 8 months ago, and still love them. I use them for running and for just wearing around. They have good sound quality. Microphone is clear on the other end. Battery life is good. Bluetooth range is at least 20ft, no skips. Buttons are easy to use (better than touch sensitive buttons on my last pair). Haven’t intentionally tested how waterproof they are, but definitely sweat and rain proof. Overall GREAT product.

Incredible, but not without its flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these Jabra Elite Sport Wireless earbuds for about 3 weeks now and overall I really, really like them. But it does have its flaws. They come with 3 different sizes of both foam and silicon tips as well as 3 different sizes of wings. Most people should be able to find the right combo to fit them comfortably, but everyone's ears are unique so it may not be as cut and dry as that. For me, I tried every combo possible and was able to get the perfect fit and sound for my right ear. My left ear though, I just couldn't get it perfect, so I'm sacrificing a little comfort for sound quality. I need a size between M and L. Basically after about 2-3 hours that ear gets fatigued I need to take it out. Again, that's just my situation though. They do fit so snug that they ain't falling out no matter what. And that's awesome because I've been searching for years to find earphones that don't constantly work their way out as I'm working out, especially while running. These do not go anywhere! Sound quality is great, but not on par with the Jaybird Runs - to a degree. The Runs have superior bass and customization options on its app. The Jabra app has about as basic an elementary equalizer as you can get, but the bass is pretty good and overall sound is great, just not as great as the Runs. However, my experience with Jaybird Runs was it has an undeniable static-y/metallic/crackling sound effect that was a major deal breaker. One downfall with the Elite Sports is that I feel they need to be louder. At the gym, or mowing the lawn I'll have them on full blast but I definitely would like them to be another 2 or 3 levels louder. I just prefer to blast my music or podcasts sometimes. In every other situation though the volume levels are adequate since those are the only times I'm blasting them. There's a built-in heart rate monitor and fitness coach thing that I'll never use so I can't comment on that. These functions basically make up the entire app, which BTW looks like some junior high kid designed from a "my first app" kit. Come on Jabra, look at Jaybird's app and yours and tell me how you sleep at night! The app needs a MAJOR overhaul, especially the equalizer. If they just made it half of what Jaybird's is then that alone would put these earbuds into the stratosphere. But I feel like the limits on the equalizer really hold back what could be a superior product. Another thing is they need to connect to your phone in order for the equalizer settings to take affect. It would be nice to have the settings enabled if its connected to your phone or not. So if I connect them directly to my Apple Watch then they just don't have that customized sound, and that's a bummer :-( Two of the best features, that others don't have as far as I know, are: 1) they're waterproof (not just water resistant but full on waterproof). They're good for 30 minutes in up to 3' deep water. I haven't tried swimming with them but I do leave them in while showering which is a game changer for me! 2) they have a "hear through" function that allows you to hear your surroundings without taking them them out. So, when in they're basically sound tight, and at the office or on a jog on the road that can be a problem. But with the hear through function on (they can be turned on or off) I can listen to my podcasts and still hear all the other ambient noises in the background, such as someone calling my name, telephone ringing, or car honking its horn. When they're off all that noise basically disappears. I haven't had any issues with battery life and have used them for as long as 4 hours at a time. The case is small and easily fits in my pocket, but is too big to carry around in there all day. Also, the case adds another 8 hours of battery charge I believe. They're not held in magnetically which isn't an issue for me but maybe others. I haven't had any connection issues, BUT they do say "headphones disconnected" immediately followed by "headphones connected" every now and then - but they don't lose connection so I don't know what that's all about. Also, on 3 occasions now the left earbud gets quiet and sounds static-y. I've fixed it each time by putting both earbuds back in the case for a couple of seconds. This seems to reset and fix it. It's not a consistent problem and is fixable, but if it gets worse then I may have to contact Jabra. Sometimes there is a slight lag with audio when watching video on my phone. But it doesn't happen every time and is only a millisecond or two, but is noticeable. Maybe it has something to do with my cell connection? So to sum it up, they stay in, are pretty comfortable (right ear is fantastic, left ear not so much), sound great (but could be sooo much better with a better equalizer), are waterproof, have an awesome "hear through" function that is really practical, and have great battery life. I don't see how any other truly wireless earbuds can match up to these.

Great headphones with some big flaws for big $$$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I'll start by saying that I really want to like these headphones... they have a lot of potential and could be really great, but they have some major issues that are really getting on my nerves. First, I've had these for about a week now, and the left earbud just decides not to work as it pleases. I spent about 20 minutes fiddling with it trying to get it to work at the gym this morning and finally gave up. It just would not power on. The case told me it was charged, but it would not connect, so that was aggravating... Second, and I think is a far more common issue: the eargels included are horrible. They are so thin and flimsy that a good seal just is not an easy task. I've tried all the sizes and both types, it just is not a solid seal, and they are quite uncomfortable to get into the ear. For a $250 pair of headphones, this small thing should be darn near perfect, but they are a pain getting them in everytime... It was bearable for a few days, but it's really starting to get on my nerves... such a small thing I would think Jabra would do something about. It seems to be a pretty common complaint with these headphones. As far as the heart rate and quality of the headphones go, they are excellent. But, the sound quality and the heart rate accuracy are both highly dependent upon quality of seal and security in the ear, which is an issue...

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing/listening to these for a few hours now after purchasing today. I have to say that after doing many hours of research and reading reviews online, that most reviews really don't give the product the credit that it deserves. Not that I read any bad reviews, but most have said sound was ok. I'll have to say that after having Bose wireless sport, these sound much better and fit much better. Very useful app, even for audio equalizer settings, which the Bose did not have. Crystal clear audio and very decent call quality. And the fit, I hit on the first combination of adapters. Great job Jabra!!

The greatest
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost gave up on these because i could not get a good fit. I was so so stubborn to have the same size tips and fins in both ears but after a completely different fit in both ears they were perfect! I run through trails where the terrain varies and i never have a problem with them falling out. The sound quality is great and there is an equalizer in the app to change the sound slightly. I am coming off of Jaybird x2 & x3 and the BT connection and bass is much richer on these although they don't get as loud it's not a big deal because you still get good sound isolation with the foam tips. I love the app and really appreciate that these headphones are compatible with MapMyRun. My only complaint is I do wish they were louder(my ears are thankful they aren't) and the HR monitor takes a full minute to pick up the beat. Other then that they are great, reliable, comfortable, and innovative. Look for a sale I got the green ones for $175.

I Like Em
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the sports pulse and pre order the elites. The range is good and the sound quality is at the extreme upper end of the wireless Bluetooth on the market. The did cost a pretty penny but would buy again with out hesitation. If you are really in to tech with your work outs. The elites are the way to go.

Sound Not Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these today, charged them up, and paired them with my iPhone. I was really excited about these headphones and I really wanted to like them but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the sound quality. Even after adjusting the equalizer settings, they simply lack bass and volume. They sound like a cheap, $20 set. I tried all of the different foams/gels that came with the package but to no avail. The sound quality just isn't there. You would think that for $200-$250, the sound would be amazing but, it's not. I repackaged them and they're going back tomorrow.

Best ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had issue with my first generation Elite because of the compartment won't shut completely and it kept connecting to phone even when is shut. So I took it back. Then, I tried the Bragi to maybe save some money since it's cheaper. Big mistake, that headphone was a joke and the sound doesn't get close near the Elite. I took it back the next day and bought the second generation Elite and with more battery life. The sound is even better because now is EQ adjustable. I will never look elsewhere again.
