    Ho Hum...

This is a replacement for a Plantronics Bluetooth Headset that was beginning to experience poor performance, such that anyone I was talking to said it sounded like I was talking underwater. I typically do not purchase a brand new item, particularly without ANY reviews whatsoever. But I felt this could be an exception. While the Steel does work, albeit only fairly well, it is not quite what I was looking for. It is not real comfortable, although I will change out the ear bud to see if that helps. It has only been a week after all. Also, at least three times a day I get a message saying "disconnected", followed immediately by "two devices connected" (I do have two iPhones connected). I would not be happy if this was to happen in the middle of a phone call. Also not pleased with the charger connection; the little door/cover is very difficult to manipulate while trying to plug in the charger. I will keep using it in hopes that it improves.

    A good bluetooth headset

I have this bluetooth for myself, replaced a Motorola and a Plantronics. I ordered another one for my daughter. She likes it also. Sound is better than previous owned bluetooth headsets. People I talk to say it sounds good. Durable. Good features, including voice commands and optional ear pieces. Nice to have wind canceling speaker covers. It's more pricey but I think it's worth it for better quality. I'm happy with this bluetooth. Have to get used to small buttons and location, especially answer button on top, but not a problem.

I purchased this Headset without reviewing others. I found the headsets quality to be excellent on outgoing calls but I didn't like the fact that you could not turn up the sound on the headset. Even with the max setting I found I wish it could go louder. After doing my research I returned and upgraded to the competitor of this devise.

What a sucker I was to buy this item. It is supposedly designed to be used in harsh environments but at max volume I had to strain to hear anything in the car with the radio shut off. It disconnected on several calls forcing me to grab the phone handset and put it to my ear. The buttons are difficult to press, if you can find them in the first place. The charging port cover interferes with the micro-usb plug (which would be difficult to locate even if the cover was not there.) On the positive side, the ear hook kept it securely in place, it was comfortable, charged quickly and it paired easily. Functionally, it is the worst headset I ever owned.

The Good. Built very nice and is very comfortable. The bad. the voice is terrible. it is like it is trying to be human but comes across as creepy. It's way to quiet on both ends, all I kept hearing is "what?". Voice answer is WAY to sensitive. The radio kept answering and I kept having missed calls and customers telling me what was on the radio. Battery life is not good. The app is kinda useless.

    Great wind cancellation

The wind and background noise cancellation on this is incredible, which is the primary reason I bought it. I've walked through very noise, windy areas and still had a decent conversation. Only when the wind is intense and blowing right at it is there a problem. However, the voice answering feature is annoying. It has hung up on several very important calls because I was talking when the call came in. It interprets almost everything I saw as "reject" for some reason.

    Returned item for several reasons

I purchased these for my new iphone X but returned the next day and purchased the wireless bluetooth Apple airpods which I love. I had the Jabra Evo for years and loved that model, worked very well, fit well, loved everything about it but unfortunately would not pair with the new phone. Got this model to try and hated it!!! Didn't like the ear pieces like my old Jabra had, didn't like where the "buttons" were placed and at first, I was confused what was the button to press and hold for 3 sec to pair the darn thing. Finally got that done and did like the voice prompt that the Jabra was on and paired. The last thing I hated was charging it. The little rubber door was so difficult to open, I can't imagine a man's fingers could do it easily. Then, the door is in the way when you are trying to plug in the cord.......very difficult!!!!! The only thing good was the warranty is for several years and it is supposed to be somewhat water resistant and sweat resistant.

Good product so far. I’ve had it about 3 weeks now. Works as advertised but the in ear gel isn’t very good. I like that it goes in the ear because it works great for someone with glasses but the way the earpiece is made it has sharp edges that cut into my ear. I don’t know if there is a way to trim these sharp edges off otherwise I’m out $100.
