4K transfer was good, action sequences sounded great in TrueHD 7.2. Dual subs really capture the chest pounding action of this film. Car sequences were great. A good one to have in the "Action" section of a collection.

If you've read the books you know Tom Cruise doesn't fit the "Jack Reacher" character profile. But I saw this movie before I knew that or had read the books. I thought he did a fantastic job in this movie, and my wife and I loved it. I've read a few of the books since then and I still have no problem with Tom Cruise playing this character. Lots of action and suspense.

I love the Jack Reacher series on book. I have read all of the published novels and a set of short stories. Tom Cruise was a horrible choice for Jack Reacher. He just can't accurately portray Jack Reacher. If you accept that this is not a faithful rendition of the character of the book, then you could find this movies as entertaining.

Tom Cruise is too cool! He keeps finding these amazing characters to portray, and he makes them seem so real and interesting to watch. Even better, he makes you look forward to more movies about that character, and he's done it so many times. Needless to say I highly recommend this movie series.

Fun movie that is more about an investigative detective than John Wick. I thought the movie was a lot of fun and as per usual this film has a dolby vision setting and dolby vision always looks outstanding on my tv.

Nice steelbook for a good movie, which provides a different take on the character than the amazon show. Pairs well with the recent Shooter steelbook that was released by paramount as well.

This movie gets better with more viewings. I had the difficulty of going from the book to the movie at first, but overcame that and appreciated the movie more and more after watching the blu ray again. That makes this a GOOD movie, in that it gets better with repeated viewings. Story is good, action is strong, and Tom makes Reached come to life with an attitude.

In this adaptation of novelist Lee Child's "One Shot", Cruise is the epitome of a bruising,heroic warrior as he travels to a heartland U.S. city to investigate the arrest of an ex-military sniper accused of five heinous murders. Great cast includes Rosamund Pike,Richard Jenkins,David Oyelowo and Werner Herzog. If you like action-packed thrillers, you'll love this!

Jack Reacher is a great movie to own, especially on BluRay. The sound on the disc is awesome especially when you have surround sound set up. Jack Reacher has an interesting story that is complex but not to the point where you would have to skip back to see if you missed something. Overall the action sequences are shot very well and the flow of the movie keeps great pace. I say "Buy It"

I have always liked Tom Cruise, but this was not one of his greatest movies. He does do well, but the writing, and sequences could have been better. The plot could have used a little more work as well. I did enjoy it, and will watch it again. Overall, I would actually give it 4.5, but since that was not an option, I went for 5. Tom is still a great actor

I like to collect movies so I have something in the inevitable case that there (in my opinion) is nothing worth watching on TV right now. I have wanted to see this movie since it was in theaters but couldn't make it happen. Now that I bought it I still cannot make time to watch it, but winter is on it's way so I will probably see it soon.

I've heard of this movie but didn't know too much about it. Picked it up on sale - I'm always looking to add more 4k movies to my collection - and am pleasantly surprised! It's a great move! Very entertaining and action packed. Now I need to watch the sequel.

My all time favorite Tom Cruise movie. This movie is great from start to finish. The sequel could have been better but you have to have a great beginning to have an ending.

Fast, Fabulous, and Fierce. Lee Child's book-to-film character - Jack Reacher - is a one man army; a retired MP major who's fierce and intelligent, and uses unconventional methods and means to right wrongs from the top brass down. He doesn't go looking for trouble. But it never ceases to find him.

Not a Tom Cruise!!! Was a huge fan before he went for a ride on the crazy train. His behavior was so bad that I stopped watching his movies. However, I heard so many great things about this movie, that I couldn't pass it up. I am so glad I got it....it truly is a great movie! Is the Tom Cruise I use to love so much back? Lets hope so!!!

Movie: Solid film that gives a bit of mystery (in the character of Jack Reacher for the uninitiated, and in solving the shooting that opens the film) with some action. The ending is not the strongest, but the overall journey is fun. Audio / video quality - no complaints. The transfer had no issues that I saw, and the audio mix is engaging.

I'm not the biggest fan of TC. Some of his movies are great while others just seem a bit too much for me. But this movie is great. The hero that is about as low key and unpretentious as can be but nobody to play games with. The supporting characters are great making it a great story.

Is there no action hero that Tom Cruise can't play? Jack Reacher is a great thriller that I can watch over and over again. It starts off with an intriguing, if disturbing prologue that spirals into an immersive mystery that just keeps you guessing. Excellent movie!

This is a well done movie with an excellent story and action. It's a "who-done-it" investigation along with great action. The movie has great characters and excellent cast. There is also some great comedy lines between Cruise and some of the characters. It's one of those movies that can be watch over and over and pure entertainment.

Very good movie with similar action to Taken. There is a mystery which Tom Cruise has to uncover along with the action. Excellent acting from many great actors. This is definitely one of the best Tom Cruise movies in the last few years and I am definitely going to see the next one in the theatre.
