I have the Jackery 300 unit (1) and the Jackery 1000 (2). Lay them out in the sun and charge your units. Easy to carry around. Plug and play.

The panel is well made but the charging cable only works for Jackery batteries. If you had batteries from other manufacturers then more likely you need different conversion cables to make it work. There are better products with same or lower price point nowadays.

Might need a few hooked up on the winter

However, since its winter and overcast it takes all day to charge the generator to 2% . You kind of need it to charge in bad conditions if the power goes out. You may be able to get a faster charge on an overcast day if you had several hooked linked together. (Like 30) You will definitely need another power source to charge it otherwise. You cannot have it under cover and it has to be in direct sunlight.

What you said is basically correct. However, we can not count on sunny power during the overcast weather.
You can use it when the weather is good and buy more for fast charging speed. However, strong sunshine is really important than more solar panels for this scenario.

Awesome but pricy
