I purchased two of these Jam Touch portable speakers a couple yrs ago, one for me n one for my son. They work pretty good for a portable speaker - good sound n is pretty loud. So I bought six more this yr as Christmas gifts. The only negative is if you're looking for base then you'd be better off getting the Dr. Dre's Beat Box which is a lot more expensive. But for $40 ($20 on sale) you can't go wrong.

Can't be beat for the price . . . Doesn't sound like a Bose of course but it's a VAST improvement over my phone's speakers. I also like that it auto-shuts off after 2 minutes of inactivity, so I can use it when I go to sleep without draining the battery every night. (Used that way, a full charge usually lasts about a week.)

The Jam Plus is a wonderful little speaker for personal use or small spaces. The sound was lost in a large room with people talking. I love it in the kitchen while cooking.

I like how you can pair 2 devices and keep them separate by toggling the switch. To the left you pair 1 and then toggle switch to the right and pair 2nd device
