I bought this to use in my classic Corvette since I don't want to change the original sound system. It wasn't really loud enough for this purpose. I now use it in my gym so when I come back from my walk I can have this play my workout music without having earbuds in. Makes it easier to to finish my workout without wires. I also use it to play tranquility music for massage. Works great.

This is a great little Bluetooth speaker with big sound. Paired very easily with iPhone and my galaxy s7. Would love to go back and buy another one for the 'stereo' sound. Highly recommend if you are looking for another option besides ear buds.

I researched several inexpensive speakers before purchasing this one. I was actually looking for another brand but couldn't find it at Best Buy. A helpful sales clerk at Best Buy saw me looking at the Jam Plus and mentioned in passing that it had a great sound. I bought it on his recommendation and am very pleased with the sound. It's just the right size for listening at work and in the car.

I like to listen to podcasts but often can't hear my Ipad as I wander around the yard or take a shower. This speaker is very portable and is loud enough to hear in the shower. I don't listen to music on the speaker and am not sure how well it would work for that, but it is great for the spoken word.
