This movie is good but not the best in the Bourne series. I loved the original Bourne movies that came out in the early 2000's but what ruin it for me was the movie Bourne Legacy. It wasn't that the actor change but the look and feel was different. Until this new Bourne movie I thought the movie series was lost. Jason Bourne was a great movie the action is awesome it has a lot of suspense. I would recommend this movie watch all the bonus material and re-watch the original Bourne series after.

Jason Bourne is a worthy addition to the ongoing series, though I must say that there didn't really seem to be a good story in regards to why he comes out of the woodwork this time. I guess it was just "time to make another movie." Otherwise, it's certainly exciting and well-done. The 4K version has excellent picture and sound quality, and it was definitely one of the movies I wanted to add to my growing 4K Blu-ray collection.

I enjoyed watching this movie a lot, just as I enjoyed watching the other Jason Bourne movies. I first watched this movie in the theater. I could not wait until the movie was released into a 4K DVD. The 4K video is excellent, much better than blu ray or standard DVD quality. I don't mind watching it over and over again.

I thought the 4k resolution of this movie was quite good. There was a great level of detail revealed in many of the facial closeups. The only thing that was crushing was that this movie was quite a let down after the quality of the first 3 Bourne movies. I felt the same way after watching Godfather III. A good movie on it's own, but so disheartening if you loved and put the earlier movies on a pedastal.

Not the best one but still watchable in fact I liked it better watching it at home instead of at the movies given its soft content and just OK storyline. And given the movie ticket price especially for two people, buying the BlueRay was a better long-term deal then spending that money at the movies to see it only once. While owning the movie I am now able to see it again and or lend it to family or friends without charge.

I loved this one when I saw at the movies, and like the others, I had to have it to complete my collection of the Bourne franchise. I always wonder what exciting action will they do this time to top the previous movies, and they did it again. It's heart pounding, edge of your seat anticipation, action filled every step of the way. I know this franchise will end eventually, but I hope not anytime in the near future.

First the Blu-Ray/DVD. There is some new copy protection scheme with the Blu-Ray that will not play on my fully licensed up to date Samsung Blu-Ray player. I even exchanged it at fist thinking the disc was bad. You get around chapter 12 and it stop's playing on two different Blu-Ray's. Had to watch the rest of the movie using the DVD. Movie is excellent. After all these years Jason still has it. Plenty of action and we learn a little more about how Jason becomes Jason.

This fourth installment in the franchise (with the same director and actors) was a great follow up to the original trilogy. If you liked the first three films, I highly recommend adding it to your collection. The steelbook version is unique with a metal case and contains both the blu-ray and 4K discs as well as a digital code for downloading.

So if you a fan of these movies then you will be happy with this one as well. Now about the DVD itself, I have to say the packaging was less than impressive, plain and nothing special. It seems to me that the product distribution folks could have put some effort into making the DVD case a little more memorable than what they put together. Over all the movie is good in my opinion and without flaw and the DVD came in good quality, but the packaging could have been better.

Having loved all the initial Bourne films featuring Matt Damon, getting his latest entry was an easy purchase. All the others I have watched repeatedly and enjoy them each viewing. I never get tired of watching those and this is a new one to add the Bourne canon for repeated viewing. Welcome to the Blu Ray family Jason Bourne! If you haven't seen it, no need to consider if it's worth the purchase...IT IS!!!

Full disclosure...the Bourne series is one of my favorites (except for Bourne legacy). "Jason Bourne" is a full-on action packed movie with great action sequences and a good blu-ray disc (and 4K). The plot is similar to the prior movies so there aren't any big surprises. But hey, we watch these Bourne movies for the action and this one doesn't disappoint. Best Buy really did have the best price (on sale).

This series is fast and suspenseful and the writing has always been smart. This Jason is not that much different. I would mention it is beginning to look and feel a bit too formulaic, not as smart in the writing, and a bit too easy to predict the outcomes. It did tie up loose ends of past people both foe and friends but always a suspenseful, entertaining series and this movie ranks up there with the rest.

It's great to have Matt Damon back in the character/role He started in with the Author's Robert Ludlum "The Bourne Files (Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum) but We can NEVER EVER FORGET "The Bourne Legacy" with Actor Jeremy Renner playing the character/role of Aaron Cross which I do hope We'll see Him again with Matt Damon and Jeremy Renner both in the next film if they choose/decide to make it!

Love these Bourne movie series. Great acting by Matt Damon combined with great supporting cast of characters and superb continuing storyline from film to film. Mixed in with great action sequences and locales. Need to see the original Bourne Identity along with the other Bourne films to catch up to speed with this latest Bourne offering.

I have been a fan of the original Bourne movies for a long time. I was disappointed in the direction the Jeremy Renner version tried to take us and excited to see Matt Damon back in the lead role. it was (as expected) well acted, and had all the right action sequences. It could not, however, match the originality and intensity of the Bourne Trilogy. The flip side to that is that I do consider it part of the Bourne mythos and it will remain part of my collection.

This video bypasses the awkward previous edition that didn't feature actor Matt Damon. Casting is excellent with Tommy Lee Jones as the devious Director and Alicia Vikander ("Ex Machina") as his risk-taking protege. The action scenes are outstanding (running, jumping, driving cars motorcycles and trucks, fights). Bourne's sad pursuit of his forgotten past leads to unpleasant findings about his father.

Jason Bourne is a Bourne film. You know what you're getting going into it, unless you've been living under a rock since 2002... These are action films. You aren't watching something you have to think about. You just sit back, watch Matt Damon kick some butt, and enjoy yourself. As for the story, Jason Bourne continues to dig deeper into the CIA's black ops programs that he was once part of, in order to expose those responsible. You know how it goes lol.

The fourth installment in the series (not counting the Jeremy Renner offshoot), it's an enjoyable movie that maintains the feel of the series. I'd strongly recommend viewing the first three before seeing this one or you'll be in the dark for many of the aspects of the story/characters. The story isn't as complex as the ones before it, but it's still a very tense movie that keeps you engrossed in the story. Good flick, nice addition to the series.

This Bourne movie is not as well done as the previous Boutne movies. the 4K version is not as sharp as other 4K movies.

Jason is again being hunted by the C.I.A except by different agents with a Great Cast , Mixed Martial Arts , Boxing Fighting sequences , Action , shoot outs , car chases , explosions , just like it says on the cover a well done fast pace action , intelligent thrilling movie , written by Paul Greengrass & Christopher Rouse , pretty good for a PG rated movie ,worth buying .
