I had some pretty high expectations for this movie, and I'd say most of them were met. The original trilogy offered a great tale of espionage and betrayal told via a series of car chases, wonderfully choreographed hand to hand combat, and Matt Damon making Matt Damon faces. This extension on the story offers the same content, just not quite as compelling as it used to be. However, I'd attribute this more to the larger collection of movies with the same content. The original films were arguably a new breed, nowadays you can find them everywhere. All in all, it's a fun movie to watch, just doesn't have the same grip as the originals.

I thoroughly enjoyed 'Jason Bourne' and thought that it was far better than 'The Bourne Legacy.' I thought that the previous film's plot was dull and it also felt incomplete without Damon too. Without revealing too much, I will leave you with one question. Just what makes this film so critical in the 'Bourne' series, you might ask? Here's the answer. We finally find out how and why Bourne got amnesia in the first place...along with some additional details which I won't reveal! On that note, it is my only hope that Greengrass and Damon continue to make these films, because these two make a great cinematic team!

Jason Bourne is again being hunted by the CIA. It begins when Nicky Parson a former CIA operative who helped Bourne who then went under and now works with a man who's a whistle blower and is out to expose the CIA's black ops. So Nicky hacks into the CIA and downloads everything on all their Black Ops including Treadstone which Bourne was a part of. And Heather Lee, a CIA agent discovers the hack and brings it to the attention of CIA Director Dewey, the man behind the Black Ops. He then orders Parsons be found and hopefully Bourne too.

I have enjoyed the franchise, but of the total 4 movies I would rank this one last. It was OK but seems they had to think up this story and it didn't add much to the narrative of the franchise. I would've preferred or would like to see the next sequel with Damon and Renner's characters teaming up for something. I didn't notice anything big with the UHD version nor any significant pop with the HDR content. However, I haven't watched the blu-ray version for any comparison. If you are purchasing the UHD edition, I would only buy it on sale for $20 or less. I wouldn't buy it at normal $30.

This Bourne Movie is very good and is definitely worth watching. Full of plenty of action and good story line which could have been contrived considering the other 3 movies seemed to wrap thing up very nicely. However this movie is most probably the weakest of the 4 Matt Damon Movies because there is never that moment in it where you say about how Jason Bourne handles something, Wow that is so clever. I love the way he puts the phone in the reporters pocket that Bourne just bought to talk without being listened to. It's still better than most action spy movies and worth owning though.

Jason Bourne is a great action film that returns Bourne to familiar territory with Matt Damon/Pail Greengrass reuniting once more. However, I agree somewhat with the critics in that the movie offers nothing new but for Bourne fans like myself, were just happy that more of these bone crushing- cia espionage Bourne flicks are being made. Great movie! But is it better than the Damon trilogy, probably not but it is way better than the Reiner flick! Hopefully they expand on the story some more with a sequel.

Jason Bourne continues his struggle to make sense of his past. This episode starts in eastern Europe and moves to Athens Greece. After an intense encounter with a CIA assassin and the loss of a friend, it moves on to Berlin where he uncovers more information about his past. The Berlin information, along with some help(?) of an aggressive new CIA worker eventually take the plot to Las Vegas for an intense car chase scene. Do not be surprised to see a follow-on movie once you see the ending.

No need to review or recommend the movie if you are already a "BOURNE" fan. Matt Damon and his character get better with each new release. Maybe there is one more left in him???!!! Regarding the DVD quality...IT IS FANTASTIC!!! I love the advent of 4K HDR. If you haven't made the leap into this bold new world, you are really missing what brings a movie into your Living Room as BETTER than going to a theater. I can't wait to see the latest coming to stores soon from the recent CES in Vegas.

Bourne is what we all love and expect to see the tons of hand to hand, bone crushing, eye twitching excitement... for me with this latest installment, it was exciting to watch, but not quite as much hand to hand action as you would expect to see our Bourne to dish out... it was more focused on the modern day aspect and feel which took away from Bournes signature ruthlessness. Other than that the movie was great! Rent it first before purchasing it:-)

My wife and I watched this blue-ray version together. We have purchased all previous Jason Bourne movies and this one did not disappoint us. As with previous Bourne movies it's fast moving with action and suspense. Bourne is able to sense when he's followed and always seems to get someone to side with him from the CIA Director's office. Watch this movie and have plenty of popcorn ready.

Even if you are not a Jason Bourne fan, this is a great movie. As usual, there is some sort of chase and Bourne is trying to figure out something. The action is great, the technology is great, and some of the new casting is interesting. I have the Blu-ray version of this movie and liked it enough to acquire the 4K. The 4K version is impressive and would only be recommended to upgrade if you are a dedicated fan. If you don't own it at all, then yes get the 4K version.

This is a great comeback for Matt Damon in the Bourne role! Years after the events of The Bourne Ultimatum, former CIA assassin Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) resurfaces just as his former employers are implementing a new program aimed at hunting him down. Now fully recovered from his amnesia, Bourne teams up with Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles) to uncover the truth behind his father's death, while simultaneously exacting revenge and evading the government forces hot on his trail.

Thank goodness Matt Damon returns to Bourne. The movie won't make a lot of sense if you have not seen at least the first one, but for those of us who have been enjoying the saga... this really does fit in well. That's the movie. I bought the 4k version and was not disappointed, really did look better.. .AND.. it came with a free digital download... iTunes, the only way to go. Not that UV junk. So, I can both watch on my 4k tv, or if I am traveling with iTunes. Win, win, win.

I love this serious!!! This is the last of the and not as good as I would have hoped but visually the 4K is definitely is a step up from the regular blu-ray

"Bourne" was a return to the original director and welcomed back Matt Damon to the series - and it was a welcomed return! Although this film doesn't have as much of the story that draws you into the initial Bourne movies, you won't be disappointed if you like the franchise. This one is all about action and the Blu-ray has a lot of great extras regarding the film. There is also an interesting note from Damon (regarding how he has aged) about how much harder it is to train for this film over the initial trio of films. I would recommend this.

I ordered the 32" Vizio for my bedroom and was very satisfied. This is the second one that I bought. The picture is great and I loved the price. I did call Vizio because the tv had gray lines on the side. The customer service was great. She told me to call my satellite dealer and she was right they fixed it right away. The only thing I did not like was there are not buttons on the tv to operate it without the remote. There is an on and off button on the side though.

I think that "Jason Bourne" was a very creative and amazing film in "The Bourne Identity" film series. I have been a fan of this entire film series and "Jason Bourne" was one of the greatest films of all-time and it also quickly became one of my favorite films of all-time. These films are very entertaining and enjoyable and have a lot of action, mystery, suspense and personal drama including really great casts, plots and personal storylines as well.

As a fan of Matt Damon’s and director Paul Greengrass’s previous Bourne films, I had high hopes for this reboot of the franchise. Unfortunately this outing is not as good as the pairs previous Bourne films together. This one is very short on plot as if they just didn't know what to do with the character anymore. I would recommend seeing this movie if only because of Damon's performance which sort of keeps things together. On a technical note the 4K UHD is stunning with a clarity of detail that is excellent.

This latest installment is a nonstop chase with lots of twists and turns and Tech. If you'v e read any of the original books, you'll not find them identical to the screenplays, but the screenplays are a great tribute to the spirit and intrigue of the books. Of course you know Jason Bourne will win out in the end, but watching all the chase is the whole reason for the movie. I now own the complete set, and plan to revisit it often.
