I love Jaws, and I think if you are like me you will buy this 4K release! I also suggest checking the digital releases since those also look comparable to the Bluray and I sometimes watch my digital version just because it's more convenient and also looks really good. Can it look better? Sure. And I hope we will get a better transfer down the line, but for now this is the best this movie looks and sounds!

You hear people say that the upgrade doesn't matter, and that may be true for generic drops onto 4K... but when you have a legacy title that has been carefully restored and upgraded to true 4K - it's amazing. This was my first 4K purchase, and now I'm a total convert. The film looks incredible. For generic titles, I stick to Blu-Ray, but for legacy films and collector's editions where you know they've done a real overhaul... go for 4K!

Fabulous! I never thought JAWS would get a steelbook release until Universal got on it and did just that for the 4K! The discs themselves and the artwork for this edition is superior and well done. Love it! All special features are brought over from previous Universal Blu-ray release when they restored the movie to its full glory. If you love steelbooks and collect those, THIS is the one to get for this incredible summer blockbuster from 1975!

You will be afraid to go back in the water after watching this stunning 4K release of JAWS!!! The picture quality is so impressive, and the sound is crisp and clean. First off: this film is a masterpiece, goes without saying. Many filmmakers have tried and failed to replicate it over the years, but Jaws shows that you don’t need a big alien threatening the galaxy to create perfect stakes, a great villain, and a satisfying and thrilling showdown between it and characters you care about, instead of stereotypes. Next, if you love this classic, what better way to enjoy it than with this beautiful steelbook case?

As par the course, Universal's release and 4K transfer of one of their highest grossing and extremely popular movies gets the makeover it deserves. The image for this release is the best it's looked on home video, and the Atmos mix which may be a bit extreme for a movie that essentially went out in mono sound in 1975, John William's score benefits greatly from an even wider room filing aural dimensionality. A+ Universal ! highly recommended!

For Jaws that's almost 45 years old the transfer to 4k was flawless...The sky's were nice blue the water was nice blue. The sand was nice and grainy like it was supposed to be. Now my favorite..The blood was a nice rich color..the dismember of body parts were great. I got the steel box which is cool

This movie is a classic, I've loved it since I was a kid, but I have to admit that I felt like this was the first time I had actually ever seen it. It looked like a brand new movie. The HDR transfer -- something that all-too-often leaves much to be desired -- was absolutely brilliant. It is discrete but "pops". The remastered soundtrack is also incredible. If you're a fan of the movie, I doubt you'll be disappointed with this new release.

Jaws is an All-Time Classic that NEVER EVER gets old... I recently purchased JAWS on Blu Ray from BestBuy & I totally regret NOT BUYING IT alot sooner!!! I would definitely recommend the purchase of this movie at BestBuy to family & friends for sure... The graphics & sound were so much better than in the movies.. The only two other things that can top this is not if I would've brought this movie in 3D Blu Ray (if it exists) as well as WHEN BestBuy bring back "UPGRADE & SAVE" so that I could've saved some additional money on this purchase...

JAWS the movie is part of history. Even though had trouble making the movie it turn out great. The 4K transfer looks great, colors are brighter than DVD and BLU-RAY. I love how the movie is done and I also love the packaging I have not open and I also have a STEELBOOK that I did open and I am going to watch. The one I got from you is going to stay sealed.

The movie that made us afraid to go in the water. And as a child for me, it wasn’t just the ocean; lake, pond or pool, it didn’t matter. Looking above the water gor a fin or under water for that dreaded shadow/shape that would result in someone telling SHARK! Looks great in 4K. Nice collectible Steelbook but I would have preferred the classic movie poster on the front with the girl swimming above the shark.

Everyone knows jaws. With 4k everything looks better. Still as suspenseful as ever. If you haven't seen before. This will be a treat. And seeing young Steven Spielberg in behind the scenes stuff is a oh wow. So young. I personally hadn't seen a lot of the behind the seens. That makes it worth it too. The seems on the water look so wow. If not a better way of putting. It. You will love it and noce addition to my collection

JAWS is legendary for many reasons. Universal's UHD Blu-ray does well to emulate the experience of seeing it on opening weekend in 1975. It's grainy, filmic yet pristine, especially with Dolby Vision encoding. Excellent packaging, too --- its sturdy, lenticular slipcover is very reminiscient of something the Vinegar Syndrome label would do. You're certainly getting great value for the price. Very highly recommended.

Most likely what will be the final and definitive release of Jaws on a physical format. I am a huge fan and collector of digibook movies, and the digibook included in this release is top notch. Plus a slew of special features (including newly produced ones that are not on any previous) make this purchase a no brainer for any fan of the film or the 4k format. The 4k Restoration of the film is a revelation.

Forget The Meg...this is still the best shark movie, which is why so much of it was copied by The Meg.

This Steven Spielberg classic is a must own for any movie buff or fanatic. Not all older movies transferred to 4K come out great. On this one the transfer was great. The audio and visual are amazing. The updated audio and visual really make this movie feel fresh and modern. For any 4K collector this is highly recommended.

I remember begging my parents to see this when I was four years old. They did not let me see it then, but I viewed it the first time it was broadcast on national television several years later. Now, decades later, I still revisit it from time to time and felt the need to go from VHS, to DVD, to Blu-Ray. Classic storytelling never gets old. This is not just proven by Spielberg's film as a whole, but also by the iconic scene where Robert Shaw tells a fish story after comparing scars with Richard Dreyfuss. Old classics never drown.

There is not much more to say about Jaws that has not been said for decades. Truly one of the best and most perfect films ever made, and here we have it in 4k and a gorgeous steelbook. The blu ray anniversary release was, I had always thought, good enough, but this 4k release is even better. Jaws has never looked better, and if you are even remotely a film buff, this MUST be on your shelf.

The best way to experience this cinematic masterpiece is in 4K! Easily one of Spielberg's best films have received the royal treatment for this release! Whether you are a 4K veteran or newbie, don't miss out on this release! With the slow death of physical media this will likely be the last time you'll be able to "own" this movie and luckily it's the best version that's been released so far! A MUST OWN!

I have owned JAWS on DVD (first digital 5.1 track), Blu-Ray (restoration) and now 4K. The steelbook design looks like the poster. (I'm not partial to steelbooks except for cover art.) A/V is the best available. I did find coloring to change (to some degree), but the most notable improvement over the recent Blu-Ray was contrast. That is significant for this type of film.
