    My intended use for this item is to mount ay GoPro to the railing of our boat to capture watersports. The spring seems strong enough to use without concern and the variable positioning neck appear to hold position while in motion.

    Strong clamp, just a little hard at first to figure out to open. At first was scared to put so much force to open. Once I got the hang of it, pretty easy to operate.

    The Jaw clamp mount it great for attaching your GoPro to just about anything. I wish the clamp would open wider and the neck makes a lot of squeaking noise when you adjust it but other than that I have no complaints.
