One of the great movies of all time that ushered in the "summer blockbuster". Even with average special effects by todays standards, this movie still stands out because it relies on characters, mood and story rather than relying only on SFX. Acting and directing are superb and even after almost 40 years, it looks absolutely amazing on Blu-ray. Highly recommended!

What a classic horror flick. The dread of each shark attack is just palpable. The fact that the shark is only visible for mere minutes of the movie shows how well made, and how well acted this is. My favorite scene is Quint's personal story of the naval disaster of the sinking of the U.S.S. Indianapolis. You definitely need to see this.

This will be a classic! It a great scary movie. It makes you think twice about swimming in the ocean. My husband is still scared to go out into the water. Don't watch it while vacationing at the beach. I highly reccomend it. I may be too scary for young kids.

It took years for this Spielberg classic to finally come to BR....but it looks and sounds better than ever. Great story, great acting make this one of the best movies ever made. Tons of extras also-HIGHLY RECOMEND!

A fantastic movie! My personal all-time favorite with a great, yet simple story, with 1st class acting and an unforgettable score by John Williams. The extras include outtakes, deleted scenes and a very cool documentary with interviews from Spielberg and the stars of the movie. Highly recommended.

this movie is one of my favorite movies ever made its one awesome film from begining to end steven spielberg is one very awesome movie director and now i see why everybody loves his films iv been a fan of his films since 1991 when hook got released in movie theaters this movie rocks

If you're looking just for the original on Bluray, this release definitely fits the bill. The transfer is excellent on bluray for video and audio (B++). Looks crisp and sounds great. The best of 'Shark' Horror classics.

This movie is a classic and I'm surprised that no one has made comments about this movie.. My father took me to see this movie in the 7o's and I can just say... this movie is forever with me and I always joke the character lines of this movie..

The Digitally Remastered And Fully Restored is amazing!!! This is what Blu-Ray is all about and should be about!!! The book is comes with is absolutely awesome it shows all the different remade movie posters and some cool behind scenes information.

Jaws is a Steven Spielberg classic that has stood the test of time. Terrifying to this day, the movie is now available in both Blu-ray and downloadable HD formats. A whole new level of clarity is now avaiable with this purchase.

This is one of those movies that I will watch every time its on...I especially love to watch it in the summer time...4th of July...etc... Shaw is superb...as is Scheider and Dreyfuss...just a classic...must own...why hasn't this been released in HD yet!!!?!?!

Jaws is like one of the scariest ocean movies i have ever watched and havent seen one better yet. So if u like shark or even if u dont u would want to watch Jaws over and over again. This movie never gets OLD!!

Since I was a child this have been my favorite movie. I have not seen a movie on film any better....okay maybe 1 or 2 but thats it....I love this movie/

Robert Shaws "Quint" was one of the best characters ever. Great scenes out on the ocean with a great John Wiliams score too. Restoration effort of the movie looks fantastic.

Buy this movie you will not be dissapointed it is an absolute classic the acting is great and there are alot of deleted scenes and the other bonus features arnt bad either it's worth it.

For that one speech alone, this movie earned its place on our shelf. The rest of the flick is great, too, but the monologue by old Quint really takes the cake.

Steven Speilberg's first classic/masterpiece gets a great bluray treatment and if you're looking into buying this, that's the only thing in question, so go for it!

A million things have been written about JAWS. This is a superb version of the film. Buy it, watch it and all the extras and enjoy!@!!!
