Sound so good. But didn't stay in ear.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the cordless. First pair. But within the warranty started acting funny, five months. Short battery life. Turned itself on and off. Jaybird reminded me to charge with the computer and not wall adaptor for longer life. Jaybird replaced these with ones that fit in the ear better. I liked the jaybird freedom better.

Risky Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a job that requires me to spend most of my day on the phone and be available by phone 24/7. I also workout daily (running & weightlifting). I use the LG Tone+ for my iPhone 4S for every occasion except working out, as the workout headsets typically do not work well for making calls and are more difficult to take on and off. I use an iPhone 4S with a Lifeproof case. The Lifeproof case provides great protection, but makes wired headsets difficult to use, so I wanted a bluetooth headset for running and lifting. I read numerous reviews, from both professionals and end-users, from this site and others prior to purchasing the BlueBuds. Based on those reviews, I knew that my satisfaction with this product would depend almost entirely on my ability to get a good fit. That prediction proved true. After 3 weeks of using the BlueBuds daily for running and lifting, I never could get a good fit. I only tried the under-ear mode, because I need to use the microphone occassionally. The BlueBuds did not completely fall out of my ears, but they never had a tight fit and kept getting looser during exercise. I was constantly pushing them back in my ears. The loose fit allowed too much noise, which was especially annoying at the fitness center. My cheap SkullCandy wired earbuds provide a much tighter fit. Since I have gone past the 15-day return period, I'm stuck with Bluebuds, which I will try to sell on eBay. Considering the BlueBuds to be a sunk cost, I then purchased the Motorola S11-Flex HD headset. After using the S11 for a week of daily workouts, I am completely satisfied with the S11. If you can get a good fit, you will likely be very pleased. If you do not get a good fit, you will be dissatisfied and have an expensive, usless headset on your hands.

Don't Stay In Ears! Horrible Sound!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife bought these for me at our local Best Buy for our anniversary. I am a runner, and my wife told the representative that and said she wanted the best earbuds they sold. The Jaybirds are what she was told to buy. My first impression was very optimistic - the fact that I didn't have to run a wire down through my shirt to my iPod was exciting. And the fact that I had never owned any earbuds other than the ones that come with the iPhone/iPod... I thought I was surely in for a big upgrade. I was totally wrong. These come with three different size sets of buds and three sets of "anchors" (the curved piece you see in the photos) to keep them stable in your ear. I tried every combination possible, and they were either completely uncomfortable, loose in my ear, or fell completely out. To top it off, I could turn the volume all the way up on them and they were still not what I consider a good volume level, and the sound was FAR inferior to even the Apple iPod earbuds. A complete disappointment. One more negative to these is that I would have to charge them via USB after two or three short runs... and it is always a bummer for them to run our of battery in the middle of exercising. So... I kept holding out hope that I would change my mind on these... but after more than a month, I went to Best Buy myself and told them my complaints. The person I talked to seemed to know exactly what I meant, and said "yeah, the sound is horrible and they fall out" <- Exactly!!! He ended up directing straight to the Bose SIE2 earbuds, and said "these are what you need!" As soon as I got home, I stuck them in my ears and no only could I barely feel they were in - I was able to jump up and down and they did not move a single bit. Even more impressive was the loud rich sound they produced... It was so much better than the Jaybirds, there is really no comparison! I hope this helps someone not make the same $150 mistake we did!

Not a good fit for me.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a runner I was looking for Bluetooth ear buds that are durable with excellent sound. All of the reviews I read pointed to the JayBird - BlueBuds X Bluetooth Earbud Headphones. The fit is unique yet comfortable but tok me a couple of attempts before I learned to insert them correctly in my ears. I was disappointed in the sound. The highs were high but could not hear the bass unless I pressed the earbuds deep into my ears. For the cost of the earbuds I expect much better sound. It may be due to how the earbuds fit into my ears. I returned the product for a full refund.

Fits well, but sound not very good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While they may be okay for having a phone conversation, they are terrible for listening to music. There is absolutely no bass and the sound is like listening to music on a transistor or AM radio. I was very disappointed in this purchase.

Disappointing!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected these headphones to be better, judging by all the reviews that I read. The sound quality is average, at best. They lack bass and they often sound distorted. I even bought Comply T-500 Premium Isolation ear tips to replace the ear tips that came with the Jaybird BlueBuds, but they made no difference whatsoever. To add insult to injury, these headphones went on sale the day after I bought them! This purchase was a big mistake. I am going to buy the Bose SoundLink On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones which I tried in the store and had much better sound quality.

These Suck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are the worst headphones I own. I am a headphone addict and I just went into best buy an hour ago and bought these. They are extremely uncomfortable!!!! On top of that you have to assemble them and put the Ear pieces in and hooks. It annoying from the start. It took a while to pair these and once they did pair... The quality was trash. I've owned beats/Bose/Sony and these are by far the worst! Do not waste your money on these. Buy the Powerbeats2 by Dre if you need wireless otherwise get Bose Soundtrue

Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Garbage - Enough said. They just stop working. I only had mine for a week. Sweat was not an issue (although they claim to be sweat proof now). After 3rd use I started to notice glitches. Woke up this morning, pulled them off the charger, turned them on, and they wouldn't sync. Shut them off to restart the sequence. They wouldn't even turn back on. tried everything. Junk. Overpriced. Unreliable.

Not good for Calls
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought, for the price of $170, this was my solution to having a Bluetooth for calls and wired ear-buds for music. I was wrong. It was great to listen to music but being a hands free device for calls was terrible. I heard everyone complain from the first day I got them that the background noise was terrible on these so I quickly moved back to a wired earpiece for calls. I eventually took it back and went back to my Bose Bluetooth. Way too much money for what it didn't do.

Absolute waste of money DONT BUY TO USE WITH PHONE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these because other reviews here and elsewhere. Perhaps they are waterproof/water resistant, but it really doesn't matter because the sound quality if you choose to use them with your phone is absolutely unacceptable. Repeatedly contacted the manufacturer asking if I was doing something wrong and finally got a tech who admitted that they really were not intended to be used with a phone unless you were only going to listen to music!!!!! He actually even was kind enough to point out that they use a really poor quality (his words) microphone with no noise cancellation to save on costs so it is not the best for a phone type of application! Since that is what I bought them for, I asked to return them for a refund and was told that they could not help me. I turned around and bought a backbeat 903+ by plantronics- that works so much better and the sound quality is superior- I just can't use them working out, but for 1/5th the price, I can sweat through 2-3 a year and still save money and have a product that performs as advertised. Bottom line- don't buy this product for use as a headset with a phone- you will be sorry. (frankly don't buy it for comfort either- never did get it to fit comfortably and stay in my ears to where even the audio quality was worth the $180 they ask for this product that does not perform as advertised.

SUBPAR sound quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did my research before I went out and bought these and was not completely blown away like I thought I would be. The design for under the ear is great. As a musician I wear professional grade Westone UMX3 IEMs on stage so I know what an over the ear should feel like. The fact that Jaybird makes you swap the left and right just to do the over the ear baffled me. I though maybe they were so great that they had an accelerometer that would keep the left and right set correctly but no. I played some music where I know it's supposed to pan from L to R and it was backwards in the over the ear configuration. Next was the sound quality. I wasn't expecting the same sound quality from my professional IEMs but there was no bass unless you kept adjusting the buds. Just when I'd get some bass I'd let go and the rubber pieces that keep them in place would shift them and all bass definition was gone. The highs sound tinny also. I returned them the next day about bought the Jabra Rox. They may not be as hyped up but they have great range, great design although they are bigger it's because Jabra put a better driver in the buds and much fuller sound quality with great bass definition.

Worst headphones I've ever owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a pair of these headphones today and took them home and charged them. After charging them I decided to try them out before I went to the gym (I have an iPhone 5S). While I was trying them out the sound was terrible. They kept cutting in and out and when they weren't cutting out the sound had a lot of static. After trying numerous songs the result was the same. Used my Bluetooth speaker to verify it wasn't my iPhone and it sounded great. Ended up taking them back and exchanged them for another pair thinking I just had a defective pair. Took the new ones back home and tried them out. They were exactly the same. Were cutting in and out and the same amount of static. Am pretty bummed about it because I have a lifeproof case and gave my headphone adapter to my kid and NO STORE SELLS THE ADAPTER FOR THE LIFEPROOF CASES! Am going to take this pair back to the store (again) and get a bose set of workout earbuds instead. Would not advise purchasing these headphones. Wouldn't pay $20 for these headphones let alone $169.

Not sweat proof
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound great. Fit well. But I shorted out 2 pairs on my first workouts with each! What a shame had to return both and stay with Jabra Bluetooth stereo headset, which is Almost As good but definitely sweat proof aNd long lasting.
