These headphones are overly hyped. The cap over the charger has a cheap feeling piece of plastic over it and with these headphones being wireless (needing consistent charging) I don't believe they will last very long.

These headphones are awesome, they sound great, are wireless, great battery life, light weight, pretty much everything you would want in a pair of bluetooth headphones. Just be sure to read the direction/watch the youtube video detailing how to fit these in your ears. If you don't have a proper fit, you will loose sound, and will end up thinking these headphones poor. These are the best sound earbuds I have ever used, with a fit that is carefree, once you take the time to adjust them.

Average sound quality, ear buds that won't stay in and the cap for the charging cover broke. For a product that cost over $150, I expected more. Very dissatisfied.

I've been using the Bluebuds for about a month now with my Galaxy Note 2, Note 3 and iPod Touch. The Bluebuds work seamlessly with all 3 devices. I must say I am surprised how much I absolutely love them. I was hesitant at first to purchase because of the price and some people saying they couldn't get the right fit, but I am so glad I bought them. Let me just say the first day or two can be a little frustrating while you play with getting the proper fit. I cannot stress how important it is to get the fit perfect. I usually use the smallest ear tips with all my other earbuds. I tried the smallest with the Bluebuds and the sound was not very good. I tried the medium tips and the sound still wasn't that great. I was getting frustrated so I thought I better try the largest tips (which I figured would be way too big) and to my surprise they made the sound GREAT. The fit was perfect. Almost like a suction cup in my ear. The strange looking ear cushions took about a day to get use to, but really help hold the Bluebuds in my ear securely.  I run a minimum of 4 miles a day and lift weights and I've never had any issues with them falling out or feeling awkward.  It is so nice not getting tangled up with a cord. I never realized how annoying the cord was on my other earbuds until I got the Bluebuds. I now have the freedom to move! The bluebuds are also really convenient when cleaning the house. The only thing I would change is the clamshell case that comes with the Bluebuds. I like the clamshell design for easy access and that it is hard so they are protected (it's way more convenient than my Bose earbud case) I just wish it was a little sleaker and smaller for carrying around in my purse. I would think for a man the case would be awkward in a pant pocket. I've been using a little coin purse/pocket instead of the clamshell case when I take them on the go now. I would definitely recommend these to a friend.

I was excited to buy these headphones when I initially came across them. I thought if I paid a little more the quality would be wonderful. The behind the neck idea was wonderful however quality was sub par. The bluetooth connection constantly skipped even when sitting down. The listening was also not seamless when changing the volume as there is a very noticeable 1 second pause. I read the reviews and though they weren't the greatest I thought I would still give it a try. I gave them a 14 day trial until i decided to return them. I recommend waiting for a 2015 version.

I wanted something that sounded good while at the gym and did not want over-the-ear headphones for working out. A month or so ago, I purchased the Jaybird Freedom 3s and returned them after a week. I didn't care for the sound quality and they cut out a lot. I had almost given up on Bluetooth then I ran across this new model while browsing Best Buy's site. There had been no reviews at the time that I ordered them but I took a chance anyway. Turns out that was a good decision. These sound absolutely great. Bass and clarity are outstanding and I have had no problem with them cutting out, even a room or two away from the iPod. These can be worn either under or over the ear, depending on your preference. Cable management pieces are included. The price is a little high, but considering the quality of sound that you get with these I believe they are worth it. A lot of technology in such a small device and it is very well designed and functions superbly. I couldn't be happier. I might add that 8 hours battery life is a bonus.

I have owned them for 6 months now. The sound quality is superior. I love how liberating it is to not to have a cord attached to the phone. Makes it way easier to move around the gym and run on treadmill or elliptical. I even accidentally submerged them in a hand wash bath and after drying for few days they work like nothing happened! For its weight the battery life is pretty amazing. I work out for about 1.5 -2 hours at a time so it lasts me for 2-3 workouts when listening on full volume. For the money one needs to pay there are two major flaws - lack of fast forward/ rewind feature and lack of real time battery indicator for android platform. That is why I give it only 4 stars

Wow Jaybird really set new standards with these. When i first watched video and read the comments I got really excited. I went out the next day and picked them up. This is a big improvement and worthy upgrade from the JF3. To me the JF4 was not. With these you get better sound, better bluetooth range, better battery and smaller size. This was really an achievement. The one big disappointment is that these do not allow you to connect a music player or ipad and a phone at the same time like previous models did. This was much more important than to be able to pair with 8 devices which i am sure no one will use. Its a real shame they left this out. That why it gets 4 stars and not 5.Yes the price is high but you get what you pay for. These things really do sound great. I still wear these like I wore the JF3 which is in the down position and then looping the cord over the ear. This way I don't have the cord doubled in the back which makes it heavy.I use the cord clip to hold the last inch or so. Please Jaybird bring back the dual pairing. On my first battery cycle I only got around 5 hours. I hope it gets better.

These are shockingly bad headphones, especailly for someone who works out everyday. I am constantly adjusting or fiddiling to make sure they don't fall out. Why the design does not include the over the ear braces is beyond me. Also the battery life is nowhere near 8 hours, more like 2.5 tops. I am returning these tommorow and getting my money back. Best Bluetooth earbuds!

The sound is excellent! And I own many high end earbuds: Etymotic, Sure, Sennheiser, Klipsch, etc. The connectivity is great as well. I pair them with my ipod nano and my Nexus 5 phone. Pairing them is incredibly easy and they work flawlessly with both iOS and android devices: Volume up/down, next/back track, pause, and voice command. Everyone's ears are different, but the stock tips work pretty well. I still switched to Comply foam tips though. I use them on all my buds. They provide a better fit, seal, and isolation. My only gripe is with the cord. I tried using the little pieces included for cord management, but couldn't find a position I liked. If I tried to take up all of the slack, it put pressure on the earbuds and felt like they were being pulled out every time I would move my head. So I did away with those and just let the cord rest on my neck. If I run on the treadmill, I tuck it into my shirt on the back so it doesn't bounce up and down and smack my neck.

I have owned numerous bluetooth stereo headphones. This is by far the worst I have had. First, the sound is very tinny. There is virtually no bass no matter how I positioned them in my hears. My iPhone ear buds have more bass. I use my my earphone primarily for working out at the gym and running. The Blue Bud X are very unstable while running. Because they are relatively small, controlling your music source is a challenge given the smallness of the control buttons. There is no way to justify the cost of these. I returned them to Best Buy.

I've owned so many pairs of headphones of various types it's not even funny. I've even owned 3 pairs of Jaybird brand headphones including the Freedom Sprints that were the predecessors. These headphones are hands down the most amazing set I've owned. First of all, the range issues that the Sprints suffered from are gone, as is the hacked together method of using them over the ear (you can do under ear or above ear with these) they actually include clips and instructions on how to use them both ways. The bass response is even better in these than the previous version (which was pretty nice to begin with). The previous ones also seemed at times to have slight distortion (albeit slight) but i still noticed it if i was paying attention), and these suffer no such problem. I love these on an airplane especially, they do a great job at cutting out the engine noise (even when sitting next to the wing). I've not had a chance to drain the battery yet, so I can't comment on life, but previous reviewers seem to say it's pretty close to their claimed runtime. Speaking of battery life, When paired with my iPhone 5 a new icon appears in the top corner of my phone listing the battery life of the headphones. I've literally never seen this icon before and didn't know it existed. All too often i'd head to the gym in my Sprints with unbeknownst to me only a few minutes of battery life. This is going to be a game changer. The USB charge plug is SO MUCH easier for me to get at than the previous version (people without fingernails rejoice!). It still has a little cap you have to pry off but it's LOTS easier to access. All in all these are simply amazing headphones, and fit the need I've had for oh so many years. If you're in the market for bluetooth earbuds, you've found your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I like JayBird a lot, had them since the JF3s were their only model. I actually wouldn't have gotten these new ones if that those old ones didn't get stolen, they're that good. But these are pretty awesome since they're smaller than the previous models but also work better and last longer. The people who say the fit isn't good are the ones who are used to wired earphones and even if they do fall out that's what the ear hook things are for. Comfort is excellent, feels way better than being wired- you feel free actually. The sound itself is on the level of Bose, klipsch or sennheiser earphones, but these are a whole lot better since they're wireless. Over all just plain awesome. The price is a little high but compared to other top line products they're pretty good.

I bought one of these for my wife to use, found out it does not come with a blue tooth dongle so I purchased a targus unit. This comes with no software, the manual was written during someones lunch hour. I found drivers for the blue tooth dongle online, the headset connects, but fails to activate for windows to use it. there is no way to see where the problem lies and not a whole lot that you can do with this. I will probably return this and use the money for something that works.

    Quality Through and Through

I have used the Bose IE2 headphones for the past two years, no complaints, I was just getting fed up with dealing with the cord. I have always been hesitant about bluetooth head phones due to battery life, bulky ear buds, and range. After anticipating these hitting the market and reading the initial reviews throughout the internet, I took the plunge. The price was iffy to me, but not anymore. The quality is top notch all the way down to the packaging, nothing is compromised. It took a few workouts to get the exact fit I wanted with both the interchangeable ear buds and strap adjustments, but that is a given with any product of this nature. I totally forget I have these on primarily because there is never a cord in the way, yes the comfort is that good and they are very light with very minimal bulk. As far as the bluetooth range goes....PHENOMENAL! Ever since I purchased these, when I am at the gym I simply put my iPod in my gym bag and do my entire workout throughout the entire gym without missing a beat in the connection. When I am at the house I carry on with my business throughout the entire house and around the yard with the same results. These can also be used for phone calls, I have not used them with my phone as of yet, but it is simple and I am sure full of the same results. I know the price is hefty, but if ear buds are something you use on a daily basis then I with the highest regards reccomend these to you. You will surely be glad you did!
