    Best Wireless Out There

I loved my wired headsets because they were just easier but when I went from an Iphone to a droid I could no longer use the quality sport earbuds. I have tried a couple of wireless headphones for sports and these Bluebuds X are absolutely awesome!!! The sound quality is right up there with the wired Bose SEI2I which I burned out 2 sets of due to my cascades of sweat when I work out! These are also noise cancelling so that could make these not so great for times when you want ambient noise. These have only been on one workout with me so far and they actually held up, my second pair of bose quit on the run back. The sound really awesome with my poweramp app on my Samsung Galaxy 3. The battery life which is supposed to be 8 hours is awesome. I haven't had it run out on me during a workout so I am happy about that. The size is very small and is lightweight just like wired earbuds and are pretty comfortable although sticking something in your middle ear takes some getting used to. The price is high but if you want a wireless headset and have the extra change don't hesitate!!!

Excited about wireless. Used for a week. Sound didn't seem loud enough. Downloaded an app for equalizer to help but didn't improve a lot.

Purchased these for a friends birthday, ended up having to return them 3 different times before we got a working pair. 1st one had nothing but static, second pair would not charge, 3rd pair would not even connect on Bluetooth. He liked them so he tried it one last time got a new set and so far so good. But come on something this pricey for what it is you should not have to return 3 pairs before you get a working set!

Too expensive for what you get. Earbuds difficult to install. Volume not loud enough. Don't buy these when headphones are better.

    Great earbuds for work outs

I was looking for bluetooth ear buds to use for daily use during weight training and cardio sessions. I was able to get a secure fit using the different sized ear pieces and once they are in the sound quality is great. I pair them with my iphone which took about two seconds to do and am able to leave my phone in my jacket and move all over my gym without losing signal or experiencing any lag. I have used them 5 times for about an hours each time and have not had to charge them yet. My only complaint is that when changing songs or using any of the controls on the ear piece I usually knock that bud loose. It doesn't fall out, but does require me to give it a quick push to get it back in my ear correctly. I'm hoping that with some more time I will get better at using the buttons without doing this; But until then it's just a minor inconvenience. The overall functionality of the set outweighs this in my mind.

    The best wireless headphone...bar none!!!!

I had 2 S9s and 2 S10HDs both died due to sweat. I HATE, HATE wired headphone because I primarily use my headphone during workout sessions so wireless is absolute must. JayBird warranty the unit for life against sweat damage so you don't have to worry about it. This BlueBuds X is by far has the best sound, comfort & battery life. I have come to accept that wireless headphone CANNOT have the sound quality of wired headphones...I was in for a nice surprise. This headphone blows me away, it sounds better than my wired headphone (after you find the right earpiece, of course). You have to try different ear piece to find what fits for you (takes me a day or two). The sound quality (deep base) rivals any wired headset and there is no 'wearing' fatigue like with other headphones. I do a lot of HIIT exercises, this headphone stay in place and I would have forgotten that it's even there if it wasn't for the booming base. Most other headphones, I have to max out the volume, you won't have to with this one unless you want to go deaf. As an Electronic Engineer, I am quite impressed with how small the battery is for the 8 hrs of play time. The weight to battery life ratio is quite amazing. I have iPhone 4S with iOS 6.0.1 and I have to DISABLE WIFI so that the music doesn't cutout for a second every so often. This is iOS 6 WiFi, BlueTooth problem and not the headphone's (have similar problem with Wireless Beats also). Google iOS 6 Bluetooth (or Wifi) problems for yourself and see. Come on! Apple you have got to fix this problem or this can turn to the 'iMap' fiasco I can see it now 'iPhone, iPad are great if you don't want to use BlueTooth features). Wireless Beats & BlueBuds work great on Android phones with out any problem so I am certain it's not the headphones. If you reading this then the $169.00 price tag didn't completely turn you off. It's definitely worth it. I was lucky enough to get it on sale for $102.00 on Bestbuy, but was prepared to pay the $169.00. PS: I wrote similar review in Apple Store, hoping Apple will fix the problems in their next software up date ( I doubt it, though)

    The best choice for running

Finally--a set of earbuds that does it all for the runner. I am a semi-serious runner, with 10 completed marathons and 4,200 miles in 10 years. I used the standard Apple earbuds, constantly tugging and adjusting the cords so they wouldn't pull the earbuds out. I tried a couple bluetooth sets, including the JayBird Freedom, but they weren't ready for primetime. While they would stay in my ears, the bluetooth signal was constantly cutting out every few seconds, even when I moved my device into optimum position. Swinging arms, and even a slight turn of the head would cause a cutout. Now the BlueBuds X finally gets it right. Battery life (and on-screen battery status), voice confirmations, customized fit, no signal cutouts, excellent controls, and 2 ways to do cord management--BlueBuds X get it all right. I just did an 8 mile run in sun, rain, and even small snow pellets (That's Colorado!) and they didn't miss a beat. When they got a little wet, one of buds started to slip a bit, so I will need to experiment with one of the larger brace pieces. Even with a little slip, it wasn't a show stopper. I learned a few things as well. First, your ears may be slightly different. You might need large fittings on one, and small on the other, for example. Second, I love the option to wrap the cord behind the head and off the neck (see manual for details). No more cable bouncing on my neck! Third, if you are used to Apple earbuds, be aware that these block out much ambient sound. So you will not hear cars or other hazards as easily--turn down the volume! My only complaint is that the provided case is too small to comfortably fit the charging cable and earbuds.

    Extremely Pleased!!!

Let me start by saying I was a bit reluctant to try these. I've been thinking about wireless ear buds for more than 6 months now and the reviews I had read before were concerning. I had heard of problems with short battery life, poor fit, poor sound quality, and a problem with poor signal (eg. if your phone is further away than an armband, then it will have interference). I am EXTREMELY PLEASED to report that none of these issues are a problem with the Bluebird X's. I chose these over the other options because they specify that they last for 8 hours. I hope to continue to test that over the next several weeks. Sound quality is pretty dang good! I will confess, I'm not one who will drop $350 for headphones just because they are "clearer" than the $40 dollar pair I would usually buy, but for me, I can't tell a big difference in sound between these and my normal wired ear-buds. I would say that I am moderately technical, I don't build computers but I can have some acumen for tech products. I got these put together, paired to my Iphone and fitted to my head with the adjustable cord adjusters in 5-6 minutes. For the person who said they were uncomfortable, I encourage him/her to try the other options for the size of the earbud connectors and rubber ear stays. There are three sizes of ear buds and three sizes for the ear stays, so you should be able to find a combination that works. The first set I tried felt natural, so I didn't change them. In short, extremely pleased; all my concerns were alleviated and I would definitely recommend to a friend. In fact, I'm thinking of getting a second set as a BD gift to my brother.

Wireless Comfort + Great Sound Quality

I bought these after I returned the Jaybird Freedom Sprints, which had subpar sound quality. These are incredibly better! Deep, smooth bass and crisp highs, with excellent fidelity (and I'm very picky). I would say they are comparable to Bose/Beats, especially if you're good at customizing equalizers in your music player. The smaller profile makes them much more comfortable, and the secure fit hooks do help to make them feel more secure. Of course, being wireless makes these very convenient for listening while on the go or exercising. The controls on the cord are pretty simple to figure out. Call quality was decent, although the volume could be a little louder. I bought these primarily for music, however, so this shouldn't be an issue. If you are wondering if the price difference vs. the Freedom Sprints is worth it, trust me, it is! I did get them on sale however, paying $169 would've been hard to swallow even with the high quality.

This is literally the 4th headphones I have tried! I have finally have a pair I will not return! first - Jaybird Freedom (returned-charging port broken) second - beats by Dre ear buds (returned-sound quality not as great as Jaybird & didnt fit well in my ears) third - Plantronics BackBeatGo! (returned-really bad sound quality & didnt fit in my ears well) FOURTH - Jaybird Blue Bud X --Great sound quality, charging port is snug & doesnt feel like it will break, does not feel "plasticky-cheap", fits perfect in my ears, bluetooth range is A LOT better than the cheaper models. This headset also eliminates the surrounding noises so I can hear all the bass in a song/movie. Battery life is great and the charging cord is thick and heavy duty. I love the hard case shell that it comes with! Some headphones this expensive dont have a hard case, just a soft case! The case can even fit the charging cable, so no lost cables! These earbuds look even better than the other wireless earbuds! also, If you're looking for a cheap-o bluetooth headphone, you'll be sorry! You get what you pay for! I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for good sound quality, ear fit, using for working out and better battery life.

    Great wireless headphones

These headphones work realy well and for their size the battery does last for 6-8 hours. Along with Jaybirds I evaluated powerbeats wireless and LG infinium. All of them were really good but considering the size, price, quality of sound and just plain looks Jaybirds won for me. The are small, look good and sound fantastic. A little on the price'er side but the alternatives were not cheaper either. One thing I struggled with in the beginning was getting the right fit. I tried all three sizes and they kept falling..so finally i looked at the video on youtube and adjusted the ear support the way it was described and it worked fine...just had to get used to it.

Sold my beats bt to purchase these, satisfied my need for good sound, battery life as far as fit I get the fitted ear bud it works but the cable over the ears don't exactly work perfect for my ears (they are not huge) so I find the cable floating from time to time . It would be nice if it wS an over ear thing then cable adjustment type of draw string you see on a sweater instead of the fold to crimp idea / it works though, the cable does not feel funny as it sits below the skull so when lying workouts it nice, the adjustment takes some time but after that your good, sound is great, fit is good , battery life brays on musice bass etc but I can go about 8hrsbefore charge bug j charge every day, does not come with USB plug for power only cable which was annoying to find out for 160 dollars - ok good product too expensive better than all the others if u got the money get it if not other bt products are better than any cable head phone if you are useing for fitnes

I must admit being a little skeptical about Bluetooth headset technology and after studying the marketplace, I wasn't sure the technology had actually "arrived" yet in terms of sound quality. I have high standards for bass response and a full, rich sound. After using these for a couple weeks, I am willing to say the technology has definitely arrived and these deliver beyond my expectations. I have used them as a phone headset and connected to my iPod during long runs, and they have been a dream product. Great range, better than most of my previous phone Bluetooth headsets, great battery life, and similar sound quality to a high end pair of Bose stereo wired headsets I own. I am sure there will be people who don't get the perfect fit ( with three sizes I can't imagine how 100% of human ears could achieve a perfect fit), and like any electronic product you may get the occasional DOA or defective item ( that's what warranties are for), but this set has blown me away and I cannot recommend them any more strongly.
