BEST EARBUDS I'VE EVER OWNED!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried the Bose SoundTrue but the sound quality was just not good at all. I tried these next and WOW! I was in love after the first song! The audio quality is phenomenal especially for being wireless! The highs, mids, and lows are exactly what I was hoping for! And the FIT! I love the wing tips! Couldn't ask for a better set of earbuds, especially if you price match to Amazon ($118.99) Thank you Jaybird!

Great earphopnes but too big for my ears
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great headphones (especially for the price $129.99, on sale). I would have kept them, but they're too big for my ears (even with the smallest ear tips :(

I Love Them
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JayBirds Blubuds X are by far the best Bluetooth ear buds I've ever owned (and I've tried quite a few). Its built in voice assistant (Jenna) may seem a bit gimmicky at first but little prompts like: "Searching for music device" or "Headphones switched" are nice (especially if you regularly switch between multiple audio sources). The headset's audio quality is also very good (this headset favors high and midrange sounds and offers "just enough" bass). The signal strength is impressive as well.

Great sounding, Over priced, Over rated earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After buying my Jaybird X wireless earbuds I was on day 14 of Best Buys 15 day return policy and I was at a crossroads of "Keep them" or "Return them". I did decide to keep them but I must say that they are very overpriced ($180.00 tax included) and very over rated! First of all I must say that they do sound great! (Great Highs, Good Base, Excellent Stereo Separation) The better the fit, the better they sound. They are very light and comfortable! The 8 hours of playtime is absolutely a lie. I once got a high of 4 hours and 45 minutes of playback time (music playback only. No phone calls!) The average is 3 hours 45 minutes to 4 hours 15 minutes. The SignalPlus feature is another absolute lie. If I keep my iPhone clipped to my right side, everything is fine if I don't lean over! I put it in my left pants pocket and nothing! Very disappointing. The Jenna feature is nice, but it in no way justifies the high price tag. The battery gage on the iPhone is a nice touch if it did more that tell you: Battery is full/Battery is halfway/Battery has 15 minutes left. The only way these earbuds could come close to their outrageous price tag is if they did everything the manufacturer claims! The truth is that THEY DO NOT! If these were priced between $90 to $100 it would better reflect the value for the money. I could not whole-heartedly recommend these to a friend. I will say that if you would like Great Sounding, Overpriced and Overrated earbuds, these are for you.

Great sound.. Once you get the fit dialed in
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great buds.. Once you get the fit dialed in. The stock tips did not work for me at all. They kept slipping out of my ears when I was working out, or even chewing gum.. I was getting frustrated because I love the rich sound these buds can deliver but I could never get the fit quite dialed in. So in reading some other reviews, I was steered into getting comply foam tips and they have changed the bluebuds for the better! The sound is great and they no longer are slipping out of me ears!! I reccomend these only if you look into getting aftermarket tips (comply foam tips worked for me).

Decent headphones, but disappointed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the headphones looking for a nice pair of quality wireless earbuds. I have heard only good things, and so I decided to try it out for myself. At first I didn't know how I was going to like the In-ear type, but I was willing to give it a try. Even after about a week my ears just started to hurt more as I wore them. But that may just be my ears. I really enjoyed the sound quality and the bass, a good set of speakers. But what caused me to return the item is that it kept disconnecting from my iPhone 6 Plus. I would be sitting within 2 feet of my phone and it would skip the music and then just stop playing and i would have to press the button to reconnect. I then did some reasearch and found this response from Jaybird Support. If they make a change to hardware and the functionality to the bluetooth I might come back to them, but for now I'll be looking elsewhere. "The Bluebuds X are not true multi-point connection capable so you could experience interference when sharing a connection with other devices. For iPhone and other smart phones, Applications running at the same time you are using bluetooth, can spread the capabilities of the phone thin and will cause frequent disconnects as well. Turning on airplane mode may help eliminate audio interference between the device and an accessory. Reorienting or relocating the phone and the connected accessory can also improve wireless performance. In most situations, deleting the profile and reconnecting them will normally cure any minor cutouts or software issues. Bluebuds X antenna is located in the right ear bud and the bluetooth profile should be good enough to prevent skipping, but line of sight still can affect range. JayBird recommends the use of armbands for your music device to keep the device and Bluetooth adapter within optimal range and separated from your skin during workouts. Positioning your hand on the wrong spot of the iPhone or other cellular phones may cause signal drop out/reception issues. Sweat and moisture in this area, may also cause the signal to be blocked. If you lose controls when you update to 8.1, follow these steps; Delete the profile from your devices bluetooth list then power the phone off completely and let it sit for 30 seconds. Once you power the phone back on, reconnect the headphones and it will restore any functions that were lost once the update was complete. Let us know if there is anything else we can assist with and we will be more than happy to help however possible. Take care and thank you for contacting Jaybird support."

Great Headphones

Great sound, comfortable fit and stay in place!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little skeptical when I first saw these, but I took a chance after reading all the good reviews and after looking through all the information and videos on the Jaybird web site. These are by far the best sounding ear buds I've ever used. They come with three different sized pairs of cushions and "bat wings". I think anyone giving them negative reviews on the sound quality, didn't take the time to experiment with all the different combinations to give them a fair chance. These are great sounding buds. The fact that they're also Bluetooth is a really nice bonus. I use these every day for at least 1 1/2 hours a day and they are miles ahead on minimizing any dropout that other Bluetooth headphones seem to have. I did have to work with them for a while to get the best fit, but once I did, they were easy to put in and I never have to readjust them. They just stay where you put them. The little wings really help keep them secure no matter what kind of workout you're doing. They're not cheap, but they are worth it, and I'm tired of being disappointed with the ear buds I've bought in the past. These definitely deliver.

Best Bluetooth Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best wireless earbuds. I've tried others and the sound quality is a lot better on these than most others. The battery life is great on these. Now about the fit, the plastic tips that come with them are ok but you will not get enough bass with those because they will not give you that tight seal that you need to really get bass out of these earbuds. I highly recommend getting the Comply foam eartips tx500 for isolation. After I put these on my earbuds now I can say I;m completely satisfied with the sound quality on these. The bass response is a whole lot better than with the provided tips.

Not as good as the hype
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are okay, but when I researched them, the reviews had me expecting more. I listen to audio books on my earbuds, so longevity is very important to me and the 8 hour of playtime isn't achieved. Maybe the audible application drains them faster than music or something or maybe the battery was damaged by sitting unused for close to a year (see next). When I first got these, every 15 or 20 minutes, they would disconnect from my galaxy 4, but all of my headsets did this "CLICK" thing at about the same interval. I'm pretty sure there was something wrong with my Galaxy 4's bluethooth. When I called support, they were great, offered to swap them out, gave me technical advice, etc. While I'm giving the product 3 starts, I would give jaybird support 5 stars. Because I was so impressed with them, I put these aside for close to a year while I waited for my phone upgrade. I got my Galaxy 6 Edge about four months ago and switched from my LG tone which are worthless when you are working out to my Blue Bud Xs. My biggest problem and one that didn't occur until I use the headset for several months is that the rubber earbud covers and the rubber things that hold them into your ear have stretched out or something and now constantly fall off. I've already lost one of the "sports grille" that fit me well and now am making due with a smaller one on one side of my headset. I also had to switch down to the smaller ear cushions because the bigger one constantly falls off. To be fair, I wear these things all day long and they get caught in my shirt, under my collar, etc. However, none of my other headsets had this issue, so I think it's just a poor design. Before this, I had the BackBeat GO headset which is very similar in make and loved it. The reason I went with blue buds x when I lost my BackBeat Go headset is the sweat resistant feature as I also love wearing these when I work out. I also own an LG Tone which is worthless when you are working out, but has the most awesome battery life ever!!! Everything considered, I think when I'm ready to replace these, I will have to go back to the BackBeat earbuds. I will say that then the parts aren't falling off, the "sports grille," and cushioned earbud covers do hold on tighter than my BackBeats did.

These are most defiantly worth the money.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought these today and took them with me on a bike ride and they stayed in my ears the whole time. I never had to adjust them once. Even with the sound of the wind in my ears the music was still wonderfully clear. I took them right out of the package and started riding so they died on me towards the end. But all in all a great pair of headphones. Well worth the money and would recommend to anyone wanting to use them for anything fitness related.

Great buds high price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very happy with the sound quality. They are similar to the sound quality of the Klipsch s4. I like being able to do workouts without having to worry about cords snagging. They stay in my ear comfortably. I like the way they look. They connect easily to my ipod and android devices. I have to give a shout out Jaybird's customer service. I lost one of the earpieces in the gym. I contacted Jaybird cust. service and they immediately took care of it!

Great Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these while looking for something else,I am very pleased with everything I have a pair of the freedom headphones and the size was a bother, but this set is lighter sound better and has better battery life and having the battery meter on the phone display is a big plus, at first I had an issue with the signal dropping out every few minutes but I reset my network settings which also resets the bluetooth on an iPhone and I have had no problems since a GREAT set of headphones.

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really surprised at how well they stay in. Sound quality is very good. I have had Motorola S9 and S10 and found their the sound quality was slightly better but they were uncomfortable and barely outlived there warranty. The only negative to the Blue-buds is I am only getting about 6.5 hr battery life I believe they we listed at 8 hrs. I have had them for a couple months now use them daily and I am extremely satisfied.

The Best Bluetooth Headphones On The Market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are AWESOME!!!! The Bluebuds X significantly raised the bar when it comes to overall performance in wireless Bluetooth earbuds. They claim the white noise you hear in wireless Bluetooth earbuds is virtually eliminated and without question it is. When the white noise is taken out out it sounds much more rich and pure. Until now you could only get that with a good pair of wired headphones. I have owned several wireless earbuds including Jay Bird Freedom (which were better than all the others) and the Bluebuds X blows them out of the water in every design aspect. I did a side by side comparison with my Freedom's and Bluebud X. The X killed'em. After adjusting the EQ on my phone the sound quality is phenomenal. I run and cycle several times a week and wear them over the ear for a tighter fit. Once they are in I never have to readjust them throughout the entire workout. You can carry the phone anywhere and the signal does not drop. These are the only wireless earbuds I found that actually do this. I couldn't be more satisfied with the performance of these earbuds. They are worth every penny. Can't wait to try them out on the slopes.

Great sound, and bluetooth range, terrible fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these, because like anyone getting wireless headphones, I was tired of cables. I got that, and pretty good sound quality. AND I was able to walk around my house and listen to music on my computer with its bluetooth adapter with minimal skipping. The only problem was the feeling of something being in my ear. Now usually, with headphones, after you have them on for awhile you forget about them and you don't notice/feel them on/in your ears. With these, I felt them ALL the time regardless of which inner ear fins/inserts I used. Not even mentioning that the ear buds themselves didn't fit in my ear canal even with the smallest rubber tips. This is the biggest con ever, if I have 2000$ headphones that have the best sound quality ever, but are uncomfortable, or $20 headphones that are comfortable, I'll pick the comfortable ones every single time. Wish there was a wireless version of this http://www.besportier.com/archives/sport-headphones-for-running-sennheiser-pmx80-sport-series-II-behind-the-head-ear-phones-for-sports.jpg that would just rest in my ear instead of needing to be jammed in there or else lose sound quality.

Tweak to fit and you'll love them
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these 3 months ago when they first came out. After having tried many bluetooth headphone these are the best. If you can stomach the cost it is worth it. Read the directions on getting the fit right, keeping them in your ear really depends on using the flexible hooks and getting them pushed as far onto the earpiece as possible. The charge holds great (as long as you use reasonable volume, the louder the shorter the life), and when you get the low battery warning you have about 20-30min. I find the range to be great, I can set it down in the gym and go all across the building. I can only see a problem if you use an arm strap and have your phone on the left side of your body because that will interfere with the signal.

Back to the JF4 for me.......
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used the JF3 for over a year and loved them. When the JF4 came out, I gave my JF3's to a cousin and bought the JF4's. I never had a problem with either pair. When the Buebuds came out, I ordered them from JayBird and was impressed out of the box. They came with the usual assortment of tips and inserts but NOT the over the ear clips. I liked the clips in the back that wind the wire tight to the back of the head. So the sound quality is good, the connection to bluetooth was excellent and the buttons worked fine. What I did not like: I tried every combination of inserts and tips and could NOT get them to stay in securely when I got really sweaty on the bike or run. I would have to reach up and push them back in on a regular basis. I tried them over the ear, under the ear and all possible combos of inserts. This became irrelevant when they stopped working all together on a run. They just powered off out of nowhere and when I got home and put them down, they then started turning on and off randomly and then redialing my last call!!! I couldn't get them to stay on or off so I had to turn the bluetooth off on my phone so they would stop dialing. It seems like a short from sweating. That is disappointing since I never had a single problem with my JF3 or JF4. Also, I don't know how they rate the battery at 8 hours. Not even close. I had to charge them regularly just like the JF3's or JF4's, never got close to 8 hours.

Great for running
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have used this everyday for running outdoors and it's great. I have to keep adjusting to keep the vacuum sound intact. I just ordered the comply foam tips as based from the reviews, this will help put the buds in place. I will update this review once I receive and test the foam tips. Overall, I am impressed with this product due to sound quality. Freedom from dangling wires is just awesome. I read a lot of reviews before I buy and this is by far the best.

Don't stay in my ears and needs to be louder.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these as a birthday gift and tried them out today. Needless to say I am taking them back. First of all I can't keep them from sliding out of my ears. I have the smallest buds on it and still they want to slide out. Also the volume needs to be cranked a bit higher. I like my music loud when I am running and these just don't cut it. Guess I will stay with my wired skull candy because they seem to be the loudest earbuds I have ever owned!
