The sound is great and has great balance. They sound better than my Bose sport! Great Buy! The only complaint is they don't fit as well when I try go set them up for behind the ear use. The under ear set up is perfect and they don't come out once in my ear.

I am a runner (20 miles a week) and I really wanted these headphones so I asked my wife for them for my birthday. From the start I had trouble with the fit so I tried multiple of the ear sizes and got one that kind of worked but was pushing them back in every half mile or so. They weren't falling out so it didn't bother me that much, it may have just been a personal comfort thing. Then after about a month of use I started noticed the Bluetooth skipping after about an hour of use and about a half hour after that the headphones battery was dying. The headphones advertise 8hrs of use, and yes I was turning them off when not using them, but I was getting less than 2hrs. So I went back to the store to return them as defective, but since I was past 30 days (about 45) since the purchase they were only willing to give me store credit. You would think they would stand behind one of their top of the line headphones.

I tried to lesser version of this brand as well as another brand. I settled on these based on sound quality and fit.

Based on other reviews, I must have gotten a defective pair. Unlike other reviews, I like the fit with the ear blades however, I have used them to run with the last 2 days and the connection keeps breaking up. These will be returned.

Jay bird are the best for the gym period tried many others but all fall short .i would suggest that you get comply earbuds for them much better comfort than the stock earbuds there pricey but at end of the day they best that I have found

Don't waste your time or money with these. A $150 pair of headphone should sound good, these don't. The sound quality is terrible, the $10 pair of headphones I had before these sounded better. I've gone back to using the cheap pair w/ a cord and returned these. The only good thing about them was that Best Buy let me return them. In addition to poor sound quality, they also didn't have a very reliable bluetooth connection to my iphone. When I put the phone in my pocket they would cut in & out. If I kept the phone out, it was fine. So I get rid of having cords, but now I have to hold the phone out so they have a connection.

I am new to bluetooth but so far I love these head phones! I bought another type and returned them after I discovered these. The ear buds seem bulky to me but I can cover them up with my hair. At first the buds seem to slide around BUT I added the other part that slides into the side of the ear and they fit great now.

Bought these over weekend used over and under ear install but after sweating quite a bit simply won't stay I ears. I was on elliptical for 30 mins working up a sweat then went to lift weights I had to fiddle with headphones rest of workout they actually would pop out as soon as I put them in. Took them back and got the bose sport headphones no issues with bose stay in ears perfect just not Bluetooth but that's fine now rather have comfort and staying power in ears.

Sound- great. Comfort- great. Durability- great love them. Highly recommend!

Loving using this headset with my phone for workouts, work, and play!

I purchased this expensive headset thinking I would have gotten my money's worth. In all honesty it is definitely nicer looking than any other in the store, but not worth the price at all. I have felt cheaper earphones which are comfortable, so this is really not impressive. I will return them and try to find a device which is more stylish, attractive, comfortable and gives better music quality.

When I was looking for new headphones, I didn't care what brand they were, i just wanted good ones. The Best Buy employee suggested i purchase these so i did. I wanted to return them the next day. The sound quality isn't the best out there and they're not comfortable. I returned them the first chance i got. Not everyone may feel the way i do, but this is just my opinion.

These headphones are amazing i use them in the GYM every day! I usually just set my phone next to the bench or treadmill and go to work and I only charge them about every 3 days. Pros Fit, sound, range Cons None!

I liked the design, fit, sound, size and weight; this was all good and well in the gym. Now, the deciding factor came for me when I went out running - there was plenty of cable noise, intermittent bluetooth connectivity at 3ft and a whistling/howling. I have had numerous bluetooth headphones as I continue to find the right one but these by far where the ones I was looking most towards using. Also, the most expensive of the lot - in the end I returned them.

I had to return the JayBird BlueBuds X Premium Bluetooth Headphones because: 1. The control does not support the iPhone Music App functions for fast forward (press center button twice and hold) and rewind (press center button three times and hold) like the Apple EarPods do. This was confirmed by JayBird support. I find these functions critical if listening to audio books, interviews, etc. 2. The earbuds do not block outside noise very well.

I am MAD!!!!!! I got a set of these after researching them for months. I was extremely excited to be free of cables. I was also excited that they claim to be sweat proof. My first set arrived and I went on one short run. I then did 30 minutes on an elliptical a few days later, while working out the voice told me it was shutting down. I thought maybe the battery was done and maybe i left it on. I charged it waiting for the green light but it would not power on. I called customer service and the guy told me it was possibly from sweat!!!!! Really I bought these because they were sweat proof and offer a lifetime guarantee. His suggestion let them sit overnight and see if they came back on. Well that did not work (duh) I logged a ticket on their website like he suggested and did not hear back 2-3 days later. I finally got frustrated and went back to Best Buy. I really wanted them to work so they ordered another pair for me and swapped them out. I did a 40 minute elliptical and the next day the new ones again did not power on. I have made a note on my open ticket on their website but I am not expecting anyone to reply. I work in customer service and this is the worst service ever and a product that did not deliver. See (85281joe) as well They had a similar experience.

secure fit needs better illustrations. like the tension clips they work great.

I am an avid runner. I was using LG wireless buds and liked them except they would fall out after they got sweaty and I would need to push them in as I ran. I don't mind paying higher prices for products if they are better than the cheaper ones. There are several wireless buds for $99 or less but these claimed to be for active people and also claimed to be the best for staying your ear. This was not the case for me. I used them correctly. I tried over the ear and under the ear. I tried all three sizes of inserts and I also tried all three sizes of the secure fit pieces. None of the combos worked. I will say that like they claim the over the ear stayed in the best. they didn't fall out but would come unsealed from the ear canal. If you loose the seal these are not near loud enough. I would say they aren't loud enough even sealed. I tried one more time this morning but I just turned around after only 1/4 mile because they literally fell out. Not just unsealed but fell out. Again. yes I did try different size inserts and the secure fit pieces. I followed the instructions correctly, I also watched all of the youtube vids for help as well as the vids on Jaybirds sight. these do not even come close to working as advertised for me. Maybe it's my ears but I did use them correctly. Buyer beware. These aren't wonderful for everyone. It would be nice to test drive them first at $169. save your packaging and receipt for return. I did not so these $180 w/taxe buds will go in the drawer to never be used again. I'm going back to my LG's. They fall out also but not as bad and they didn't cost $180. Heck maybe I'll just go back to wired Apple buds. I would like to try the wireless Beats sports buds but @ $199 what if those don't work as advertised. Not as good for me as some of the other reviews. They don't stay sealed, fall out and really aren't loud enough during runs. Very frustrating while working out/running.

My boyfriend bought the Jay's for me after hearing me complain about my bag snatching headset. I absolutely love the freedom afforded & they do not cramp my style, but adds to it. Volume control & easy to charge. Ideal headset for this mover & shaker!

I REALLY wanted to like these things! I got tired of messing up corded headphones (wires would break) and having the wires always get in the way. I thought these would be perfect, and that the "secure fit" attachments would help keep the earbuds my ear; I WAS WRONG! If you've struggled with iPod earbuds, these are not better. Despite the "secure fit" and earbuds coming in three different sizes, it's gimmicky, and doesn't do much to keep the earbuds in place. I figured that if triathletes used these things, that they must be pretty snug; again, I was wrong. These earbuds would be so much better if they had over-the-ear attachments. Or silicone earbuds that actually went into the ear canal and latched in. Last couple of points. You can not listen to the TV's that are in the gym with these things, as you can't plug in. Also, I occasionally experience signal loss when I have my phone in my pocket, and I'm doing squats, or jogging.
