Jaybird absolutely nails it with both range and not requiring line of sight like other brands. I can leave in my backpack and walk into another room and still be connected. Earbuds also fit nice and tight so no worries about falling out with running or weightlifting activites.

The fit is different and not as comfortable and the sound quality (main reason for purchasing the first edition) is not what it could me. I have to keep my volume on max while running to block out noise.

For future reference, you can try the following for fit:
1. Try without the charger/clip
2. Test over-ear/under-ear fit
3. Test all combinations of eartips and wings, including different sizes in each ear (silicone and foam tips)

The ear pieces seem to come off quite easily as we lost one somewhere. Jay Bird was nice to send a one time complimentary replacement set. With the right fit they'll be great.
