I actually returned them to the store after using them for 2 days. They were too heavy and would fall out while running.

I have worked out in these for a week, and they have yet to fall out. I have small ears so it is hard for me to find headphones that fit, stay put, and don't hurt my ears. The 4 different sizes of ear pieces really helped me find the right fit.

Having tried other Bluetooth headphones, I was excited to try use these for fitness and commuting. However, they do not stand the test of time and possess poor noise cancellation. The design could also use some revision as the long cord is tedious when moving around on the neck. I was glad to exchange in a reasonable amount of time and replaced them with a Sony brand which fit my needs better.

The inserts for your ears easily fall out and get lost. Not the best construction. Will work great as long as you are gentle with them.

I workout regularly and after a few uses my headphones didn’t work anymore, they were not very loud either and I’m not one to blast music but I had to with these to hear it. I was suggested by the sales rep that these were better then any other headphones on the market and they are worth it. Not impressed.

I like running a lot and have tried many different types of headphones..these by far are my favorite... great for someone who has small ears ... also has a clip to attach to clothing so it won’t bounce around on the back of your neck

Ear buds are so hard to buy. I asked the clerk his input, but he was clueless. These had gotten good reviews, so I bought them. I have small ears, and these keep falling out. They do work if I put on a hat with ear flaps. They have different sizes, but the small are not small enough. my sister has since given me a pair of JBL inspire 500, and they work.

Always buy this brand, so I knew what to expect. Or so I thought. It just did not seem to want to hold a long charge or stay together. The extra pieces for added comfort would not fit tightly so it would pop apart. Lost some pieces because of this. Would not by this series again.

I received the FREEDOM 2' a few days ago, and I love the way they sound. They have a very nice sound to them, and you can fine tune it through the Jaybird app, or even download presets others have made. I really like that. The main issue I'm having is that they do not fully seal in the ear canal. Because of this, the great sound you get when they seal in your ear is lost. They then sound like a cheap set of headphones. I've tried all the tips, and I tried them all over ear and under ear, and they constantly come out. Another issue I noticed is that the Bluetooth randomly disconnects. I have several other sets of Bluetooth headphones, and this is the first set that I noticed do this. It's almost sounds like the Bluetooth is changing channels, and pausing while it does this. This happens when my phone is in my pocket and I have the FREEDOM 2's on. The Bluetooth range is small. I'll walk about 15-20 feet away from my phone and the FREEDOM 2's start to lose signal. Another issue I have with these is that when I wear these under ear with the wire behind my head, the left ear is constantly being pulled on, or pulled out. This is very annoying. Adding the "battery block" for another 4 hours of use compounds this issue. Over ear seems to be the way to go, but this gives the worst "seal" in the ear. I tried the included clip as well, and all this does is make you keep your head facing forward, because if you turn your head left or right it pulls the headphones right out of your ear. I wanted to love them, but it's more of a love-hate thing.

      Hey Jaybird customer,

We really appreciate your detailed review but it does seem you are running into some fitment issues, that is affecting sound and some slight bluetooth signal drops. 15-20 Ft of Bluetooth range is accurate from personal testing. As for connection I find the under the ear fit does provide the most stable connection.

This does go back to the fitement issue's you are running into, we strongly recommend some complyfoam ear tips and maybe even the original Freedom ear tips as these are universal with Freedom and Freedom 2. Lets do this contact us [email protected], and we will hook it up with both some comply eartips and regular Freedom acc. pack.
This should give you plenty of fitment options to get a consistent and comfortable seal.

I have the previous generation and while I liked them I found the battery life to be quite lower then the 4 hours it promotes not including the battery clip. I find that these last closer to the 4 hours they say it does this time and found the audio to be good. I also find these ear tips to be the best Jaybird has to offer between the Freedom first gen of this model and the X3 because these ear tips look to be more secure and not fall off the earbuds like the other ones did. I would have to buy replacement pairs because they would fall off and I wouldn't find them. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because I find these don't get loud enough compared to other wireless headphones. I thought maybe because it was bluetooth and Android but I tried different wireless headphones and even connected it to my iPad and they just don't get loud enough for me. Otherwise these are great earphones.

The headphones are great, the play very well. most important is the 8 hours play time that the headphones gives. I ride my bike for very long trip and I can listen to my music for the whole trip.
