Jaybird just gets it
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using an older set of Jaybird X headphones for years, and they have been through a lot with me. I couldn't wait to try the Freedom 2s out. These buds are absolutely fantastic. There's a lot to love about them. They feel comfortable and are easier to fit to my ears than my original Xs. The sound blows away any set of ear buds I've used in the past. Deep rich bass without sounding boomy and very crisp highs. The associated app that you can download is really a nice add on. It shows the Jaybird battery level on your phone and it has tons of EQ signatures that you can download and use with the buds. Or, if you like, you can create your own signatures and save them. Bluetooth pairing is simple and fast. The control panel buttons are a good size and have a positive tactile click. Just a well designed pair of buds.

Posted .Hi Tyrone,
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing static audio with the Jaybird Freedom 2. Here are suggestions that can help improve the connectivity with the buds.
- Restart both the headset and audio source.
- Re-pair the buds after you "Forget The Device" on your audio source.
- Perform a factory reset
1. Make sure your headphones are powered off.
2. From an off-state, press and hold the power button for five seconds until the LEDs flash red and green.
3. Double press the power button. The LED will flash orange rapidly and you should hear a low double tone and your headphones will turn off. Your headphones have now been reset.
Also, please reach out to [email protected] and we will do what we can to help improve your experience.

Will not buy again.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heard so many good things about this headset that I was compelled to buy one. Sounds on this thing we’re very lackluster. Overall, I did not enjoy the feel of it in my ears, nor did I enjoy the sound quality. Ended up returning it to buy a pair of Bose soundsport free.

Do not buy these
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bluetooth pairing is awful (often disconnects frequently even after a factory reset) and sound is very quiet (even at max). Only good thing about this is Jaybird's EQ app which can be chosen to your liking.

Jaybird Reaches New Heights
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Get big bang for the buck with this ear bud kit. Super easy to connect. No code required. Designers had the smart idea to mold winged buds to fit into the moguls of the outer ear. You can even pull the ear bud wires over the ear for a higher level of security during workouts. Also, love that I don’t have to worry about sweat and inclement weather Warnings: You must take the time to experiment with the ear buds to find the perfect fit. Otherwise, you might jump to the conclusion that the buds are too wonky and loose. I almost returned the kit; but, decided to persevere. Realized that it was my fault for not trying each option. Now, with ear buds snugged into my ear, couldn’t be happier. Also, be mindful about the wing tips. Make certain that you screw the wing tips on to the end caps so they are fully connected. You do not want the hassle of losing them. The buds are light and may not be heard when dropped on the floor or elsewhere. Be smart. Clip the ear bud wire to your clothing. I learned the hard way when I lost a pricey pair of buds that prompted trying the Jaybirds. Another handy solution is the slider that allows me to lengthen or shorten the cord. The audio buttons are a high enough profile so I don’t have to struggle to find volume up and down, etc. Most importantly, the audio clarity is hi fidelity for phone, music and other media. One major upgrade over the competition is the ingenious charge/clip battery pack that piggy backs to the ear bud control unit. Use it to charge the unit but carry it to add another four hours. There is also a Jaybird app to find new beats and also allows adjustments to my EQ settings. But, good idea to inquire about compatibility between your devices (smart phone, etc) and their update. One last perk is the squeeze top accessory bag to keep track of the goodies. Only ‘con’ so far is that a way to adjust the notification volume would be nice; but, on the ‘pro’ side, I like that I am told what percentage charge I have when I power up the buds; so, I don’t have any unforeseen shut downs.

Great sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Jaybird Freedom 2 headphones have a great sound. Rich bass, great mids and highs. The ear pieces are the easiest I have ever changed from one size to the next. Just make sure you attach the new ones on cause they will fall off real easy. I would give these headphones a five except for one major draw back. The battery. It comes with 2 batteries to give you the full amount of listening time. The second battery is unessarily a bulky attachment. The extra battery is what you plug in to charge from an outlet. Also their range is not very long compared to other cheaper headphones. Still though they are worth the purchase.

Pretty Good.....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using Beats BT head phones, and decided to check out the JayBird freedom 2. Pros: They sound better than the Power Beat 3's, the Jay bird app is pretty cool. Cons: The Jay Birds are difficult and kinda frustrating to get the right fit in ear. Every time I turn my head one side falls out, and I'm constantly trying to keep them in my ears while working out. I've tried to adjust several different ways and get the same out come. I didn't have this problem with the Beats. So I may have to switch back.

No sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had these for a few months and there's no sound, you can't move your head when you have these on because the cord drags and pulls the buds out of your ears. Waste of $90.

Customizable Sport Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS Customizable sound settings on the app Water resistant Good noise cancellation Includes clip-on battery pack to extend power 4 ear tip sizes to choose from CONS Some microphonics- audio interference from cord Uncomfortable to wear for a long time After testing out the Jaybird FREEDOM 2 headphones over the past 2 days, I have found both positive and negative features. First things first, the sound that emits out of these tiny earbuds is pretty good and can be adjusted on the fly using a variety of options when paired with the Jaybird smartphone app. I compared the sound from these headphones with another wireless set that I own and the Jaybird gets a definite win. The battery life is also pretty good with the included clip-on battery pack to keep the music playing for hours. Since I don’t wear rubber-tipped in-ear buds that often, it took me a while to get used to putting them in properly to get the right sound. When tucked into your ears correctly, the noise cancellation works well to drown out all of your surroundings. However, I noticed some microphonics- the thumping or rustling sounds you hear in the headphones when you are moving around or the cord is touched or jostled. I also was unable to wear them for long periods of time since they didn’t always feel 100% comfortable to me. I know many people use this style of wireless earbuds so it may be just me who feels this way. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone that likes the rubber in-ear buds along with wanting good noise cancellation and variable sound settings.
