Very good, and much better than the X2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Jaybird X2's before this which I had to replace due to my own fault. These headphones are leaps and bounds better. Overall the amount of ear pieces it comes with you will find one that fits great. The weight of the headphones also helps with how they stay in the ear. I personally use the headphone while working out and they don't move at all. The only downside to them would be you need a separate piece to connect to micro USB charger. Overall fantastic.

Where's the bass?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Freedom F5 in-ear headphones are really great when they are seated properly in your ear. But getting them in the right position is very tricky. The first time I listened with them was awesome. Went to the gym the next day and there was NO BASS! It took me almost a half an hour to find the "sweet spot" again. I've tried all the sizes of the tips included and still run into the same problem. Unless the X5s are perfectly placed, the sound deteriorates to the point of annoyance. But when they are properly seated, the sound is very impressive. I'll probably be returning these because of their temperamental nature. I don't have time to fiddle with the earphones every time I want to listen to music.

Holy best wireless headphones!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These new Jaybirds are next level. So light, you forget your wearing them! These are well worth the price, you get the quality that you pay for. I love too that I can connect to multiple devices like my computer and my phone and at the same time and not worry about missing a call. Great work Jaybird!

Excellent Sound, Poor Fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading through numerous positive reviews on these headphones, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase them while they were on sale. I have to say that the sound of these headphones was fantastic - especially when paired with the Jaybird app. I was able to adjust the equalizer to get a wonderful sound. The power module, however, that hangs off the right ear just didn't work for me. Accessing the various buttons on the module seemed awkward (for me) and it just seemed to limit my head movement. I ended up returning these headphones.

Excellent quality and style.!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a bluetooth set at least 12 hours a day. This one has exceeded my expectations! Battery charger attached to set its so helpful! No need to turn it off. Sound is so clear, I couldn't believe it was better than my Bose and my Beats devices!!! I love that it stays in my ear without much of an effort. Excellent quality and style.!!!

These headphones are AMAZING!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the app, which makes the music vibrant. I have never heard so many tones, lyrics, and base in various songs. The headphones have not come out of my ear while running, walking, or playing a sport. Be careful not losing the small charging port... if you do, the headphones are dead. I am defiantly satisfied with this purchase.

Great fit, great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking for quality running earbuds for many year and it has been nearly impossible to find a great pair without spending insane amounts of money. Most products trade sound quality for fit and ease of use or vice versa. Jaybird Freedoms are amazing on all fronts. Perfect fit and comfort, excellent sound quality and the App allows you to customize your listening profile, GENIUS! Well designed product

Lovely sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work out a lot and I wanted a wireless pair of earbuds to get out of my lifting way. These are excellent sound quality and come with many options to fit your ear. Don't bother with beats or the new Bose. Pay for an actual quality product rather than a brand name.

Jaybird Freedom - THE Best Bluetooth headphones!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Sound sick with the app I can't believe how small these are Cons: Silicon tips a bit loose, couldn't get the fins to work for my ears (the foam ones saved the day) Conclusion: I don't think anyone out there makes a product as good as Jaybird does. I've tried them all, no-one has come close.

AMAZING SOUND!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've read some of these reviews and I'm really concerned about how some of these negative people and how they function in todays society. Jeez. One person complained that the charger if left clipped on weighed too much. It weighs exactly 2.1 ounces. If you can't deal with that on the wire then you need HELP. I was a professional DJ for 18+ years. I used only Pioneer Pro DJ headphones. Mine could take 3.5 watts which is a ton straight to your ear. Well these Freedom's are almost that level but in defense for the Jaybirds, these are ear buds and not over the ear headphones. I think they sound amazing. The connectivity is pretty darn good. Flakes sometimes but I believe it's my phone more than not. I've even used Shure in ear monitors that cost $500 before and these are elite like those. Cool thing is you can thread them through any Nike shirt with a headphone loop sewn in back. PS> If your not hearing enough bass then you have not fitted them right. You have to get them to fill up your ear hole so move up to a larger ear tip if necessary. Also do not allow the ear wing to touch the tip. You need to slide the ear wing back 1/8 inch from the ear tip this should almost force the tip further into your ear hole and in hopes for the tip to get a good seal. When this all comes together you will hear the BASS drop. Ah---Heaven... Enjoy!!!

Good not Great for the $$$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for these over the last few months and have watched videos and have read countless reviews and was kind of bummed when I 1st tried them. The battery pack which is light was still noticeable when walking around and doing simple exercise routines. You could also feel the weight on the right ear. They sounded great but not fantastic and are more worth $99 not $199. I am going to wait for the X3's to come out.

Excellent SQ in a small form.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up after reading many reviews with some mixed result. All I have to say is Wow! the SQ is really good in a very small package. The key is: you MUST use the MySound app to fine-tune to your liking. I have few every expensive IEM that I was able to use the app to tuned the JB to sound near(close but not the same) the expensive IEM that I have. I considered this is good for wireless IEM. Build quality is great, but it certainly can use some improvement as many reviews mentioned in term of fitting plus how the battery and controller location. However, once I got the right ear tip and the fin. I have no real issue. I do get around 4hrs of continues listening time at 60-70% volume depends on music. Charging the little thingy took a little over an hour. Bottomline is: I really like the SQ and ability to fine-tune. I highly recommend this wireless.

Great headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm going to admit these headphones took a bit of messing with all the earbuds and fins to achieve the perfect fit but once that fit was achieved the sound quality and how well they stay in place is phenomenal. They also cancel out surrounding noises perfectly - I will definitely be bringing these the next time I fly.

Best earbuds for fitness
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to the freedom from the Jaybird X2's which I love. Comfortable fit and so light you forget they are there. I use them primarily for music and despite the micro size the sound quality is great. *recieved the product free as a promotion*

Worked great until they didn't
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these around Thanksgiving time and they were amazing! The sound quality was fantastic and they fit perfectly in my ears and would stay in during workouts which is very rare for me. Three months later, however, they don't hold a charge and are impossible to use. I charged them right before bed to get them at 100% (which took longer to achieve than when I first purchased them but managed) then turned them off and as soon as I woke up, I checked at they were at 80% somehow. By the time I go to the gym at noon, they're close to 0%. I really wanted these to work but now I'm going to have to try to get my money back.

Best Earbuds yet, phenomenal price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had Bose earbuds and these better and if you can get them on sale for $50, DO IT. Get them snug in your ear and you will hear all the highs and a great deep BASS. So impressed. I was reluctant to go Bluetooth and have one more thing to charge in my life, but I LOVE THESE

Great Sound, ok battery, take time for proper fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like these earphones for their great sound, light weight and very small size. It took me a while to get a precise fit behind my head with the cord length and cable clips. I tested the various included ear tips and the small silicon tips worked best for me. I later switched to the large foam tips for a better tight seal and improved sound quality; unfortunately after several uses the foam fell apart. Jaybird's support mailed out replacements to me. Im now using universal triple flange earphones tips bought separately and they provide simplicity of the silicon tips with comparable sound isolation/bass response of the foam tips. There is also a noticeable increase in volume. I highly suggest Freedom owners to try triple flange tips; its cheaper than Comply tips. Customization/optimization through the My Sound phone app is a must to get the best sound quality. Spend time with the EQ. The battery life without the clip charger avgs around 5 hrs at 75% loudness. I turned my phone volume to maximum then adjust the earphones.
