Great if they work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am waiting for Jaybird to send me my second replacement. So this will be pair number 3. Each work for about 3 weeks and then done. One odd bit is it claims you need to have a 5 amp charger to charge. Jaybird does not provide this. So in theory if you plug this in to a 10amp charger(my beats by dre use 10) it may fry them. I do not know what is wrong with them. I love the sound when they work. I cant use them for more than 3 hours or they hurt my ears. Problem is they stop working. I anticipate this marry go round going on until the factory warranty ends and they I will use my extended service plan and will be out of luck after that. These SUCK!

Awesome headphones!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.JayBird nailed the design and performance of the Freedom Wireless headphones. A huge improvement from the X2's while maintaining the ability to stay in your ear during the toughest workouts. A must buy headphone!

Good for phone calls only. Not Music.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to my B&W P3 headphones these sound really bad. But I didn't buy them to listen to music and will only use them to take wireless blue tooth calls.

Ear Piece Comes Off Too Easily
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the sound is decent for the price, I can not recommend these as the eat tips come off way too easily.

Probably just not for me...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Jaybird Freedoms yesterday. I was trying to decide between these or the Apple AirPods. The AirPods only come out in February, so I bit the bullet and got these. I don't think I made the right decision. Here's why. First of all, a major concern with these earbuds are that the battery / controller is on the right side, and there is no counterweight on the left side. This means that there is always going to be more pressure or tension on one side. This caused the Freedoms to always fall out of my ears. An obvious solution to this would be using the Comply ear tips, right? Perfect segue into the second issue. The Comply ear tips are too rough or harsh for me. I despise the fact that you have to squeeze them every time you insert them into your ear, and once they're in, it feels like they're compressing your ear rather than filling your ear. Another solution would be using the ear fins, but I find that the installation process is very unintuitive. Why do the ear fins have to be slanted, instead of flush against the ear tips? Why is it not indicated what angle the fins have to be at? All these issues led to a headache after just a few minutes of usage. I don't know if it was because of the design, or the fact that... hold on this needs its own paragraph. I have an iPhone 6, so I was using the iOS version of the Jaybird MySound app. The app seems easy-to-use and uncluttered, but I only used it for 30 second to set up my earbuds. The real issue (I'm not sure if this is because of Apple and iOS, or Jaybird) is the volume level. I don't like to listen to music too loud or too quiet, so when I was trying to find the perfect level, I found the sweet-spot to be around level 2 and 3. Unfortunately, level 2 was a little too soft and level 3 was a little too loud. (I just want to say here that it is true that different songs have different volume levels, but in my very minimal testing, I found that the volume levels were pretty consistent). The wire for these WIRELESS earbuds is a little too long for my liking. This is especially a big concern when paired with the fact that the controller is unbalanced. The charging clip seems easy to lose, and I sincerely don't know why the charging cable is 2 inches long. All in all, I just want to say that I am not an audiophile by any stretch of the mind. I don't think this design works for me. Take this review for what it is worth. I'll be getting the AirPods in February. Let's see if they work for me. Best Wishes, Rishan

Stopped working after 3 weeks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After three weeks, the volume controls and mute button stopped working. It just says "fully charged" every time I press the + and - buttons and does nothing else. Jaybird support said I have to have the receipt to get a warranty repair / replacement. If no receipt I am out of luck. I will keep looking for the receipt otherwise I am stuck with it.

Great for working out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love these headphones, they are very comfortable to wear, and while the box says the battery life is 4 hours without the reserve battery, it easily lasts me around 6 hours. They are well made (they are logitech, so of course) so they are nice a sturdy.

You can't beat them for $50 & neither can BEATS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEATS can't touch these ear buds @ below $100 & in my option NO ONE CAN! Thanks Jaybird for a quality sounding ear bud @ $50, @ that price I purchased 2 to extend my listening time to over 16 hours without having to worry about running out of power.

What good is sound when it lasts 2 weeks or less?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sound great. Let's get that out of the way. The app is awesome. What in the world does ANY of that do you when the quality is worse than anything on the market? Just went through my THIRD pair. All quit turning on or charging after 2 weeks or less. The charger works. Even used a different charger. It's the headphone. Also, with my iPhone 6S in my center back pocket in my running shorts, they cut out. HORRIBLE quality. Save your money and buy anything else, as these are the most expensive wireless headphone for sport at Best Buy. Kudos to Best Buy service.

Terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liled them at frist but they are designed to fail meaning the tips dont stay in well. So, i lose them and they get stuck in my ears. Furthermore, the sound quality is okay but if you listen to your music at loud levels I'd suggest kookong elsewhere. Lastly, they are unbalanced, pulling to the right-side, and with the chargning clip on its worse.

"special edition" is not the same.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the only thing special about this set of earbuds is they don't come with all the accessories the other colors come with. no comply foam tips and only 2 sets of silicone tips. none of which fit my ears properly. its just a marketing gimmick. buyer beware! they also do not include a picture of whats included while the other colors do. while the price is good, I feel like Best Buy pulled a bait and switch on me.

great headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a new parent to twins, and needed a hands-free headset to maintain communication with the outside world during cold & flu season. This headset fits the bill perfectly - easy to set up the bluetooth pairing, easy to charge, and easy to use. The adjustable cord management clips are great for customizing the fit so you don't have to fidget with the cord every time you use it, and the clip to attach to a collar is great for keeping them in check when only using one side of the headset. I also like that this headset interacts with the voice-assist on my phone, so I don't actually need to pick up the phone to make a call. That makes life much easier when I have my hands full with two infants!

awesome sound !!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, i actually brought it from apple.com for its exclusive Rose Gold color. Well, they are not very comfortable for what ever reasons.. may be a inline remote or fins etc. but the best part is its sound output !! OMG its wonderful, and its My Sound app takes it to 10/10 for quality of sound... i loved it !

Great Sound + Bad Fit = Very Disappointed!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited months to get them and after only having them for 1 day, I had no choice but to return them. Although the sound is amazing….I’m very disappointed!!! The remote piece is heavier than advertised and much heavier than any other pair of headsets or earbuds out there. This causes the right earbud to fall out over and over again and again. Both earbuds will not stay in my ears, they fall out repeatedly no matter what type of method I used. I paid $140 after discount and I don’t think they’re worth that much, in my opinion they’re worthless to me, what good is the amazing sound quality if they won’t stay in your ears?!? Customer services didn’t offer a solution, and I have to pay to ship them back to them…I guess these are not for everyone. I’m very disappointed and I would not recommend these to anyone.

Great Sound, Bulky Battery & Volume Controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I purchased the freedom jaybird set, I wanted to love it. Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations. The bulky battery and volume switch pulls on one side of the ear making the cord very unbalanced. It is mostly evident when running or sprinting. Sure there are fit adjustments that come with the device but this does not take away the bulkiness to that one side. As far as the sound quality, it is very clear and definitely an improvement from the blue buds wireless set that I bough a few years back. The way they compensated with distribution of weight by implementing a lighter cord but opting for a heavier volume switch panel was very disappointing and a complete failure.

Comfortable, Great Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how the fins fit so comfortably in my ears and the cord disappears behind my head so I can focus on whatever task is at hand. The sound is awesome. You can even choose from a variety of sound settings to enhance your music like "bring the bass" - so cool! I love the white and gold look of them, too. I've never used wireless headphones before, so the bluetooth took me a minute to set up and understand. Now that I've got them figured out I can't wait to take them on my next hike! Dont buy if you sweat heavily.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to these from the X2's and i was initially impressed with the upgrades like the MySound app and the battery pack. However, i sweat alot during my workouts and after 2 or 3 workouts, the headphones stopped charging altogether. Returned them and got another pair, however i had the same issue. The second pair i got was actually defective out of the box. They would say charge me and the app would show the battery at 0% even though the headphones are fully charged. I believe the location of the battery (in the mic instead of in the earpiece) makes them more susceptible to damage from sweat. My X2's gave me way less problems so i returned these and went back to using my X2's.

Great Bluetooth Earphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these as a gift for Christmas and I have been using them every day, mainly at the gym. They are great! They come with a lot of different accessories to fit them into your ear. It took me several days and different configurations to find the right one! But once I found it, they have been working great since! I gave it 3 stars for a couple reasons. One, the placement and bulkiness of the earphone controller. In future designs, this should be slimmed down or have the controls placed in the actual earphone. Next, after prolonged use, the earbuds tend to work their way out of my ears. A bit annoying to have to constantly preposition them in my ears. Third, the bluetooth range is not the greatest. Just walking from one side of the gym to another (in a relatively small gym) I start to hear static.
