    Serious Athletes Buy Jabra

I originally purchased the Jabra Sport Coach headphones and when those wore out (I exercise a lot and can be rough with my toys... thank God for the GeekSquad Warranty) replaced them with the Jaybird Freedom. I was traveling for work and needed some ASAP for workouts. The best buy I was at did not have any Jabra in inventory and I remember seeing ads in triathlete magazines for Jaybird so I figured I would give them a shot.... poor choice... awful design... the extra battery makes them so unbalanced and awkward. and the friggan things fall apart too easy nearly every run I am fishing a gummy earbud out of my ear canal. I have tried re-configuring them, can't stand them. Not worth the dough when Jabra products are available at similar prices.

Headphones gave out after heavy sweat go in contact with the control board. I love these headphones because the sound quality and the light weight is cool. However, they are not swear resistant. I am going on my third pair in less than a month. That is a big SMH!

    Jaybird X3 - stay away

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Stay away. Sound quality is pretty good, but the workmanship quality is poor. Why? The Jaybird X3 does not last. Bought an X3 at Best Buy in Jan '17. In Feb, one of the channels stopped working. Went back to Best Buy to do a warranty exchange for a replacement X3, which they did, but told me they wouldn't do it again. (At the time I thought that was odd but now I know why). Regardless it's now mid Apr 2017 and the same thing happened again: one side of the earphones has quit working. I pd about $130 which is a lot, and I haven't decided whether to go hassle again w/ Best Buy or simply switch products altogether and buy new, different type of headphones.

I could hear everything around me. No bass. Even after trying to adjust the sound the way I wanted it, I could still hear ppl working out around me and there just isn't any bass. The sound was like being in a deep cave with echo

Not Sweat Proof after a few weeks

I am on my third pair. This is my 3rd return in two months. These sound nice while they work. The wont work for long. I have zero confidence that my third pair will last. I will keep returning them if they keep breaking after that I have an extended warranty with best buy and once they replace it that will be my last pair. These are defective do not buy. I am switching to another product by another manufacturer.

    Lousy, lousy, lousy. Cheap junk.

Pure junk. Do not buy anything from Jaybird that uses this design. Earpieces won't stay in your ear, even with the different size parts provided. Volume is too low to hear music while walking on the sidewalk next to traffic. No volume control on the device, so you must use the volume control on the phone. A lousy product that does not do what it should. A disappointment. Headed for the trash.

I like the idea so I bought it because I got it for a very good deal. But if the item is regular price I would look for other options. Best is the AirPods

    Not worth the price tag

I just bought these today and they look and work great, they just have awful sound quality, the base sounds like your listening to a $15 pair of headphones. As far as the fit goes, they probably fit nice for some people just not my ears even after trying to work with the included pieces. I'm returning these Monday and getting the Powerbeats2

For working out, don't waste your money

I will begin by saying that the sound on these, when they work, is great. Unfortunately, the sound quality means nothing when these things die when exposed to sweat. Hence making the "sweat proof" claim an outright falsehood. After being fully charged, these would shut down repeatedly during my workout. I suppose these would be great sitting at your desk or on a light walk. But since these are marketed for workout, they, pretty much, fizz out after about a month.

    They are not sweat proof

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought Jaybird freedoms last week hoping that the all the bugs from the x2 jaybird would not exist in the new and improved. Well one the first day I went on a short 8 mile bike ride, and the freedoms are just as poor in reception as the x2. They cut in and out and when they get just a little sweat inside or on the controller itself they go static then cut off completely. So stop the lies and high cost to customers and fix your garbage you sell or just be honest and lower the price to about ...hum 20 bucks because that's what they are worth at this point and time.
