Th best feature is the ability to use eq/son no profile presets by syncing with the jaybird Smart phone app. The native sound is reasonably rich, but the additional options (some created by the user community), makes for a versatile earphone package. --- The downside would be the fit. Even after watching several YouTube videos on finding a good fit for the ear phones, none of the three sets of "fins" work well for keeping the earphones in ear with any sort of physical acitivity.

The sound quality is not the best. But it suits my needs. The phone calls aren't great either. Some ruffling sound is heard from the other end. But for $50 (got them on black friday) they're worth the price. They do fit well and don't fall out. The cable tie around the neck can be a little hard to set up but works. And the microphone can get a little bulky at times and uncomfortable.

My only issue is the battery, it does not last 4 hours and then you have to keep the the battery pack which is just inconvenient. Otherwise perfect headphones

These are definitely the best headphones before you go to the next level ones $200+ level. Overall good but not very loud can block out noise really well but if your looking for something loud don't get these. If your looking for a pair of headphones good for work and blocking out background noise (like a machine shop) these are the best headphones I've used for blocking noise out and listening to podcasts.

I've had all kinds of headphones and earbuds in the past, like Bose, audio technica, Sony, sol republic and more. I've been wanting to buy from this brand but wasn't sure so I waited for Black Friday. I picked these up and I wish I would have bought from Jaybird a long time ago! I recently found out the charging cradle is also a back up battery! Well worth the price to be honest!

After messing extensively with bud and "wing" fittings, the fit is pretty good. Device must be in "line of sight" to get full signal, and while the streaming isn't perfect, it's stellar compared with continually pulling out my wired buds while working out (kettlebells, yoga, Pilates, running). Great battery life, easy controls, pretty comfortable (my ears are small and super sensitive). Recommended!

This is my second pair of Freedoms, I bought the first a few days after they came out and they were defective, the charger would charge but not the headphones ( they can be charge separately) so I went to BB and exchange them for a new pair which so far have being working as they're supposed to. I love it that they don't stick out ones ears like the X and X2 ( I have them both, well I gave the X2 to my friend). Am a jogger and a bike rider, wore them during vet comfortably during those workouts. Thanks to the Jaybird app I can set the equalizer the way I want to, needles to say they my musical sounds way better than their previous earphones, tried them with movies on tablet and TV almost got surround sound. Bluetooth connection is excellent and easy to pair with any device. I like that is capable of connecting to two devices at the same time no matter the brand or the OS, I could be watching Netflix on my Samsung tablet and answer a call on my iPhone, I discovered that if I have any previously paired devices with the Bluetooth on and I turn the earphones on they connect automatically even when the device is supposed to be sleeping, Example: if I have my tablet on around and turn on earphones to connect to my phone, they will connect to it and then connect to the tablet too, don't have a problem with that, just that it took me a couple of time to realize why the voice on earphones said" headphones connected twice" hehe. connection is very good so far I have try them with several wall between them and the sound device and it took quite a bit to break connection, obviously without any obstacles signal is way better ( around 35-40ft ) Battery life so far it's what they advertised, 4hrs plus another 4 with charger. So far when it says that is 10% full it gives me one hour of play time ( yes I timed) when it says "charge me" I connect them so it's charger and if I don't use them while charging it takes about 30min to go to 40% full enough for an hour on my bike. If use them while charging obviously it takes longer and never go to 100% charged even if the charger it's fully charged. What I do is I charge the headphones to it full capacity then charge the charger, so I will always have power around. Every now and them I charge them at the same time. The charger is small and light enough to wear with headphones around the house, while watching movies or light walks at the mall, but not for jogging or any other vigorous activity, it bounces too much. Overall I think this a very good headphones, I hope I don't have any more issues with bat and last like its older brother (my X are 3 years old and still give 7 hrs of playtime) If you are familiar with the brand and don't mind espending 200 on them, go for it, they are quite and upgrade.

the sound on these was pretty impressive. but, at $200, i'm just not sure it's worth it, especially if jaybird is moving away from the lifetime sweat warranty that was the real value proposition of these previously. i had a bit of trouble getting a good fit even though these were so small. the wings ended up being a detriment (versus, say, the silicone wings on the bose IEMs, which are much more comfortable). that said, once fitted, they were very enjoyable. i laced the cord over my ears, and they didn't move around very much at all. sound isolation was ok--but didn't drown out the noise of my lawnmower as well as traditional IEMs usually would. maybe not a bad thing if you're using these for running. overall, to justify the $200 price, these needed to be the ultimate IEM for any number of tasks, but they weren't. still, they were very good, especially the sound. i liked the jaybird sound app a lot, too. a lot of this is nitpicking, and i think that a lot of people would be happy with them. i would've been happy with them too if they were more competitively priced. but, for $200, i was compelled to keep looking.

If you plan to buy this just for use at Gym, its a great pair of headphones with quite the power output, loud, clear. A bit heavy on Bass, but a great sounding pair of headphones. Although if you talk on a call, you'd be essentially torturing the listener with noises of all things except yourself. The concept of noise cancellation is lost upon this product. Although, perfect if you do not wish to talk for extended periods and your callers have a tendency of going on!

Good price... so far the battery has last what it suppose to, and it is useful having a portable charger. Although I'd love if it last little bit longer.
