Great product....when it works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By the time I purchased the Jaybird RUN’s, I had tried several pair from other manufacturers without success. I had read several reviews concerning the issues with connectivity, but placed my hopes that it was resolved through a reputed firmware update. So I made the purchase. My first objective was to ensure I had the most recent firmware; which a quick online test confirmed. Despite this, as many others reported, I too experienced intermittent “dropouts” in the left bud. So disappointing. After experimenting with the Jaybird sound app, and getting the right combination of fins and tips for a good, comfortable seal, the sound was fantastic!!! I REALLY wanted to like and keep these buds, but could not get past the temporary sound loss, which occurred about every 2-3 minutes, and for various durations. I was so disappointed at how the company could have invested so much effort in getting a product within “inches of the goal line” and not score. At the selling price point, I could not place my hope of a fix into a possible future firmware update. So, I returned them. Unfortunately, Jaybird may have “jinxed” themselves with the product name, as it turned out to also be a warning - RUN.

Very convenient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these headphones daily during my work outs. Sweat doesn’t appear to affect quality of sound or fit in my ears. Sound is great and external noises are kept to minimum so much so that it may be dangerous running outdoors in the streets with having both on. Will wear one side if that is the case. I currently charge headphones once/week when using 7 days/week for 1 hr. I don’t run the battery to minimal levels but I do this to prevent battery from failing while working out.

Finally Total Wireless Earbuds That Stay In Place
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a jogger I've tried several brands and models covering a wide range of cost. The Jaybird RUN is the first that stays in place comfortably for me. I think most, if not all people will have the same positive experience by taking the time to try the different tips and fins provided in the package. The sound quality is very good, very bright sounding with decent bass. I have not tried the Jaybird app which allows for customized sound settings.

Great sound, takes a bit to fit correctly
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These true wireless buds are pretty darn good. The sound is fantastic, and the app allows you to customize the EQ settings with some stock ones and ones you can create yourself. Since the sound is really good and the fit is pretty tight, you might want to only use one if you're running/biking on streets and want to hear traffic. I primarily run on sidewalks and am hyper aware of cars turning (being in Colorado there are enough idiots that don't look at runners when turning on streets)... The included charging "pod" fits pretty well in a backpack pocket or at times in the front pocket. The buds pair once you remove them from the pod, which is cool because you don't have to turn them on and off to get them to pair. So far in the 6 or 7 times I have used them they have not lost the pairing with my phone. I haven't run them totally out of power since most of my runs are an hour or less (no ultramarathons for me). The fit is a little finicky. The good thing is that it comes with 3 different sizes for everything - the ear flap, and the speaker pad. Finding the right combo can be a little time consuming as both ears may need different combinations. The good thing is that you can figure this out. The bad thing is that they do get a little loose as you start to run and sweat. I'd recommend having the various combinations on you, hit the treadmill and start to get your sweat going to adjust the fit. Again, since most of my workouts are an hour or so, I have not left them in for a super long time to see if it becomes uncomfortable after hour 3 or whatever. The bad - I had one of the buds fall out when I was doing an outdoor run and it was pretty difficult to find it. One star removed since there isn't a way for you to say "Find my bud" and have it play a sound. The bluetooth map isn't super accurate, and luckily the bud fell out in short grass. It did take me close to 15 minutes to find it again, which is very frustrating. Since the sweat gets in my eyes, I'll likely start wearing a sweatband or something to make sure I don't lose them again. Overall I like these a lot.

Decent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: good sound quality with a handy little charging case. Cons: one of the earbuds loses Bluetooth connection and cuts out quite a bit. However, it's pretty hard to find a pair that doesn't. It's certainly not a brand specific problem. Jaybird is a great brand, but after trying multiple brands I wouldn't recommend earbuds at all until the connectivity issues are improved.

Great fit and stays put.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I figured out which size of buds fit my ears, I was very happy with them. I can workout for an hour or 2 and only adjust them once maybe twice. Sound is great for buds; but, don't expect a listening experience like over the ear headphones. Lastly, you can't wander too far (about 6-10 feet) from your music source before the connection starts getting glitchy. Over all, I will would buy again and am happy with the purchase.

Great sound but has its down side
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these because I wanted a total wireless experience. These delivery that and more. Sound quality is solid. Bass is decent, and when paired with the jay bird app, it’s Makes the experience much more in depth. Th down side to these, are the controls, which are limited and you have to push on them somewhat hard. Also the dont pair with my phone automatically as they should.

Great quality but not comfortable for long use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried these out for a couple weeks and the sound quality and battery life was great but I couldn't wear them for more than a couple hours at a time. I tried the different ear pieces to no avail, just couldn't find the sweet spot. My hope was a simple bluetooth earbud for calls while working but if you're using them for workouts they might be what you're after.

Great sound...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love jaybird, as the app allows you to tweak the sound. Sounds in these are up to jaybird standards (I did spend an extra 22 for comply ear tips though that is my preference). Sadly though, I have to reconnect them every single time I use them. Sometimes 4x or more. Going to swap these out for a new pair of the same. Hope the initial connection problem is just a dud pair.

Fair attempt for a first gen product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jaybird Runs are Jaybirds First Generation Truly Wireless Buds, and it shows. The value they add through convenience is greatly overshadowed by their numerous downfalls: 1. Audio signal gets dropped frequently despite having my phone in my right pocket 2. Call audio is only routed to the right ear bud 3. The very-noticeable audio delay makes it impossible to watch videos 4. Although this last one may be minor to many, these buds still use a MICRO-USB port in 2018-19! On the flip side, the sound quality was much better than expected, and the battery appears to chug along forever when combined with the case's battery. Unless they end up pricing it much more competitively, I would suggest you look elsewhere for a nice pair of true wireless earbuds at this high of a price point.

Great ear buds
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these when I am out on the mountain bike trails. I only use the right ear pc when I am riding so I can hear my surroundings. When cutting grass or in the office I will run both ear buds. They fit really good, sound amazing. The app is really easy to use and has a ton of custom setting's. Battery life is about 3.5hrs straight run time but the quick charge works really good too. Very happy with these.
