Falls short
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main issue, which is a deal-breaker as I will be returning these tomorrow, is its connectivity issues. I bought these close to two weeks ago and have been using them for the gym 5 days a week. These earbuds are really sensitive to other signals and will constantly cut in and out (sometimes 5-8 minutes without connection). We all can imagine the plethora of different signals and frequencies that are going on in the gym I'm sure. Maybe these will be more of a fit for those who exercise outdoors instead. These also fall out easy, they'll more or less stay in place but I can feel them slowly slipping and losing its grip - they do come with other size fittings but the others are too big for me. If they just weren't so easy to be interfered with I would definitely keep them.

These are fantastic!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The other reviews may have a point. Note that I updated my headphones out the box, my windows laptop refused to update them. I used my wife's mac and they updated perfectly. After the update. The bluetooth has been more than perfect. I walk through times square for my commute to work and other bluetooth headphones(Including the X3's) always cut out in this area. The RUN's didn't drop a beat. Sound quality is amazing as always. Isolated sound, customize able EQ through the app. The battery is 4-5 hours and you get an extra 8 through the charging case. Sweat proof and water resistant. Compared to the competition these headphones are the ones to get. In terms of price, sound, bluetooth connectivity (after update), design, and more. All of the other low reviews I guarantee would be higher if they go ahead and update asap.

Great Set Of Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pairing these earbuds with an iPhone 7 Plus was easy and took less than 30 seconds. Comes with enough tips for a good fit in any ear large or small. Some YouTube reviewers had issues with bluetooth cutting out, but as of now, I've had no issues, but I do live in a small town and not a big city. So far the earbuds have been great and the sound is excellent. Comparing the sound to my Apple AirPods, the Jaybird Run's have a much richer sound with much more bass. The AirPods are good for easy access, but the JayBirds are great for running and any other exercise.

Eh.. Just average
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to get these. Out of the box they are very impressive. It comes in an egg shaped and sized case that also serves as the charger, and housing case. Its kinda small I almost lost it in my purse and bed actually. But the packaging was very nice and innovative. Putting them in your ears takes getting used to. You have to insert and spin to make sue they stay in. They are kinda comfortable once you get used to the feel. The sound quality is average, no bass at all. They also fell out of my ears after a while if i moved my head too suddenly or too far to one side despite being snug inside. If you plan on keeping your head up straight in one place these would be great. But for someone active on the go as advertised be cautious they will fall out at some point.

Connectivity on runs is average at best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many others have said, the BT connection is unstable when moving. I can wear them at home with no problem, but when I get out for a run, they often disconnect and reconnect. I even moved my phone to the right side of my body (on a belt) and saw no improvement. All else is well designed. But wireless connectivity is in the top three musts for the price and for the purpose which these are designed. I will keep them for a while to see if they come out with a software update that addresses the BT issue. If I don’t see anything from Jaybird to address this, I will be returning in exchange for a different product.

Well made, but the sound isn’t quite there
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These jaybird wireless earbuds are pretty cool. The charging/storage case is very futuristic looking. Being completely wireless is kind of scary, I’m afraid I’d lose one and have to buy a new pair. The ear tips are all kind of awkward too, I can’t seem to find a combination that fits me well enough. I did jog a bit with them and they didn’t fall out, but the sound was sort of distorted and I can’t figure out if it’s from the Bluetooth connection or just movement from the eartips. The water resistance feature is cool, but as with any electronic product I’d be very skeptical about trying that out. For the price of these, I would have rather bought Sony or Bose and dealt with a wire. The sound quality just isn’t there for a product that costs this much.

Fits all sizes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am Petite and have tiny ears. The default tips were too big, size 2. The fins, size 2 we're a little to tight and the bud fell out after a short jog. After switching to the smallest tips and the size 1 fins they fit perfect. I was worried after a while of wear the fit would loosen. It's been a month in and they just feel comfortable. I have had no issues with them falling out. The Bluetooth has had minor interception issues. It'll rarely go in and out for a miniscule amount of time. Nothing too disruptive. Other than that, I'm so over wired headphones. They're small enough to sleep on a pillow with, as you might on an airplane. Includes tips and fins up to a size 4.

Great fit and sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just had to try these headphones because the majority of true wireless headphones fell out my ear while exercising. These are by far the best fitting headphones I ever bought. The sound when you first connect them are bad but after downloading the jaybird App you can adjust the EQ. Now they sound great. Have not had connection issue thus far and I do have the latest Firmware installed. I guess others who first bought these had connection issues but I have not had any. I'm also waiting on different headphone tips because I don't like rubber, prefer the foam tips.

1/2 of a Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had read that the Jaybird Run BT earbuds had a problem with the left unit, but opted to take a chance that there would be some firmware update that would render it a non-issue. That turned out to not be the case. The left unit constantly cut out for 1/2 a second, a second, or even up to three seconds at random intervals. Jaybird's support amounts to "press buttons in specific order to get the left and right unit to talk to one another again", and while I tried it several times, it never made the problem go away. Apparently, the issue is that the left unit connects to the right unit, which has the actual connection to your phone, tablet, or PC. Unfortunately, the big meat-sack of the human head interferes with the connection between the left and right unit, causing dropped connections. This is the explanation I've read, and the problem is endemic of the design, not the software, so if it's true, then nothing short of a hardware redesign would fix the issue. However, once I found the right config of earbuds and fins, and installed the oh-so-necessary Jaybird software on my phone, the sound was great for music during the periods where both units worked. I didn't try it with calls or video, although I guess there's a lag between the device and the units which make watching video kind of painful. Sadly, I'll be returning these ASAP for something else.

Wireless convert
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little skeptical of bluetooth headphones, but decided to take a chance on these. I'm happy to report that I have no regrets cutting the cord. After checking enough reviews, I felt confident enough that Jaybird was the way to go. They sound great. They sound just as good as the packaged Samsung AKGs that came with my phone, which sounded fantastic to begin with. Previous earbuds I've owned were a struggle to stay in my ears but, there are enough fittings included with these that it's no longer a problem. Would highly recommend.

dependable, great sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jaybird continues to improve its line of [truly-]wireless headphones - the Run fits my ears Very comfortably, for my regular, extended use. The streamlined design of each earpiece appeals to my sense of minimalism, & the noise-cancelling & HQ effects appeal to my sense of audiophilia. Having a 2nd set also serves any long-distance needs for my running goals (by being able to conveniently-carry & easily switch to the 2nd pair more than 4 hrs in), and they never slip when I've completely secured them in my ears. Highly-recommended!

The 4 Hour charge lets me even run a marathon without worrying about losing my music. I don't have to worry about cables as they are wireless and interruptions due to its great reach and connection with bluetooth! I also really like that they are sweat proof! this is a great feature that I have not seen before as well as the fact that they are design for a perfect fit in your ear. I really wanted to love these
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Literally bought them today after returning another brand but still not going to work. I need ear buds I can actually hear. I'd definitely have trouble trying these at work. Otherwise they r great my biggest issue is that they just dont get loud enough. Even reset like others suggested. Set up was easy design is great, they feel fine but I need something I can wear... and hear... with one ear for an 8 hour work day and this isnt it

Great fit but disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These fit exceptionally well, have phenomenal sound that is modifiable through the app, and the firmware update has helped random drops. The problem is with video syncing and delays. When one bud is on its almost in sync...When the second is on the delay is much more noticeable. This delay extends into phone function. There's a delay when sound is adjusted, playback is paused, etc. Bad latency to me says bad components. I swore by my jaybird x2s until my dog got to them. Sadly I can't back this product. Returning them to best buy shortly.

Posted .Hi Matte,
Thank you for the review and feedback but we are super bummed to hear you are planning on returning them. We do have instructions for a reset that could lower the audio latency, as it should only be with video. Please reach out [email protected] and we can get you some reset instructions.
However for the audio latency itself we allow for a small amount of latency when watching video using Jaybird RUN. To ensure a premium music and sound experience and to guarantee the left and right earbud are always in sync, we introduce a small latency. The amount of latency can differ based on your operating system and video streaming app.
Jaybird RUN are designed to ensure a premium audio experience while running.

Best cord free experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love not having to deal with any cords. The sound is pretty good, and surprisingly they have never fallen out. The free mobile app is very nice as well. Just complaints, the earphones don't always make proper contact with the charging pins in the charger so there have been times I pull them out and one is 100% charged while the other 80%. The other complaint is that even though they've yet to fall out the design could be more secure, such that one doesn't have to push them so far in the early canal.

Good but some major issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to like these because I tried so many other brands and these had great potential. I experienced the connection and volume issues everyone else seems to be having.... But the thing that bothered me the most is no USB-C charging. I think it's time we start making this a big deal so these companies understand we're ready to have one charger for all our devices

I am not a fan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought X3s- returned them three months later, connection issues. Bought runs-returned them after one day, connection issues. see a pattern. I love the concept, sound quality is good (if you're sitting...in a chair) if you move, they blip out. If you run, they run...away from a clear signal. I bought the bose and saved 30 bucks. thank goodness for extended warranties.
