This is my second pair of Jaybird headphones. I have a 5 year old wireless pair, and now these truly wireless headphones. Both provide excellent sound with the freedom to perform activities while listening to music!

The little buds are super to work out with. Your audio signal from your phone on bluetooth comes in clearly. Could be a bit louder. As long as they are pushed in fully they also tend to block out other noise.

Great headphones. First time using totally wireless. I had a couple of run ins with it not working but when you call the Jay Bird help desk, they will help you and make sure your headphones work if not replace them.

I've had Jaybird headphones in the past and they were great. The Jaybird RUNs just weren't loud enough for me. Also the charging case would activate the headphones at random.

These earbuds sound great for the price. I use them for workouts and they have held up just fine. The only problem I ever experience is sometimes Bluetooth won’t connect. Just place them back in the case to rest and they connect. Doesn’t happen very often.

These headphones are small and light and really surprised me with the sound compared to the other wireless buds I own. Pros: The sound. Absolutely fantastic. I’m not an audiophile, so I can’t talk all the music lingo, but I was most surprised of the amount of bass and clarity these delivered. With the iOS app that you can download to accompany the ear buds, you can customize the sound using presets or by creating your own preset. You also have the option to change what the button on each bud will do when pressed. The packaging comes with several different sized ear tips and wing tips. The default ones fit my ear perfectly, while the smallest ones were more suited for my wife. Changing them out is easy enough and they give you a little pouch to keep everything in. They charge using USB so I can use my 3 or 4 cables already laying around the house to charge the case that is used to charge the buds. The comfort level of these are great as well. I was able to wear these for about 2 hours without any ear fatigue or them falling out. When making phone calls, the people on the other end I spoke to said they could hear me clearly at a normal speaking level. Even as I did the dishes, they said the background noise was there but not loud enough to notice in a conversation. Cons: The charging case is a bit large if you plan on carrying it in your pocket. The buttons located on the logo of the buds, are a bit stiff. When pressing them to either control the volume or invoke your favorite assistant, feels more like shoving them into your ear until there’s enough resistance to actuate the button. It’s not painful, but uncomfortable, at least for my ears. As for the app, I was able to have it connect to my phone with no problems, but my wife’s phone was having issues connecting even after disconnecting the headphones from both phones and only trying to connect using my wife’s phone. They still worked fine, but couldn’t use her phone’s app to change EQ presets. When making phone calls the voice of the person I’m speaking with only comes through on the right earbud. Hearing them was fine, but I wouldn’t have thought only one bud would deliver their voice. Finally, had some issues with sound not syncing up with some videos. This was hit and miss but missed more often than hit. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a great, wire free music experience that delivers a fantastic custom sound, buy these. The price is competitive for the type of product they’re offering. The cable-less experience of these are liberating and hassle free and, for an average Joe, I thought the music quality and clarity was fantastic. But if you’re a button masher and constantly on the phone, you may find these don’t deliver the best experience. That being said, It’s not enough to take away from my use case which is mostly listening to music while performing tasks at work or around the house.

Great sounding headphones but had a REAL hard time connecting to the Jaybird app. Customer service was unable to tell me why I could not connect but eventually it randomly connected to it no problem. This took 4 days but I’m just glad it has not been an issue.

Please believe me when I tell you there worth every cent! It’s more re then just reading the features and saying oh that’s nice and they do this and they do that. These headphones are truly great with the sound quality, stability, noses canceling, Eq feature that let’s you setup the sound just the way you like it. An oh me oh my when I tell you they get “LOUD” which was my biggest problem with ever other product out there, instead of trying to find away to turn them up your going to be look how to turn them down! Don’t be fooled by the bull talk of the other big names. The only down side is that you have to turn them up on your device but other then that if you want to really hear your music grab a pair an enjoy!

Love these headphone and the fact that there’s no annoying wires. When I have them in at the gym they do tend to drain my phone battery kind of quickly. Good sound and they stay in my ears.

Sweatproof, fast charging, protective case. Music sounds great and they stay in my ears much better than My AirPods when running. Phone calls are ok, but I didn’t buy them for the phone quality. I bought them to hear music when I’m running.

I paired this with my apple watch and most of the time the results are great. Sometimes if my watch face is covered the ear buds loose signal. The product came with multiple fittings for your ear. One ended up working for me!

    Excellent Truly Wireless Earphones

    Posted .

I want to start off by saying that this is my first pair of true-wireless earphones. I have used, and still use Jaybird X3's, so I'll mostly be comparing the two with this review. Right off the bat, this product comes with extremely straightforward packaging. All it takes is a slide out of the box, and open the flap, and it's right there in front of you. The box contains the battery case with the earphones in them, a jaybird pocket (exactly the same as the one provided with the X3's) that contains all the adjustment gels and the charging cable, and documentation. That's it. Once I took the charging case out of the box, I pressed the button in the middle, and the case opens. It immediately goes into pairing mode once you open, and remove the right earphone out of the case. Pairing took seconds. Probably 10 seconds at most. Once paired, I put both earphones in and started listening to music. That's how easy it was to get started! Each earphone has a button on it, so a total of two buttons for both earphones. These buttons are minimally customizable. You have to have the Jaybird app to make any sort of customization, which I highly recommend that you download it. The app allows you to register, customize the EQ, customize the button controls, and view the battery life of each earpiece. Whenever you make any sort of button customization within the app, the earphones have to be restarted, which it does automatically. Each earphone takes approximately 5-10 seconds to restart. Once I had all my customizations complete (EQ, and button controls) I started listening to music. What I can definitely say is that it sounds just like the Jaybird X3's. So if you like those, you'll love these. Given the X3's sound great, these should genuinely impress you. However, what I did notice was that the volume doesn't get as loud as the X3's. That was a slight disappointment, but it's plenty loud for me anyways. The comfort of the earphones were great for me right out of the box. It had the wingtips and ear gels in place already. If they don't fit you well, you can always self-adjust with the included eartip/wingtip gels that range from a size S-M for each earphone. They're slightly less comfortable than the X3's, but that's because the casing is a bit bulkier. I can say however, I can comfortably wear them for 2 hours without messing with them. These guys stay in my ear really well. I put them in, and started shaking my head like a maniac, and noticed that they don't budge. Thank god. Compared to the Airpods (which don't fit me well at all) these things are polar opposites. These are amazing for any sort of fitness activity. I've used it for erg machine rowing, and weightlifting. These things have 4 hours of battery life while wearing them. However, if they're already low on battery life, you can put them in its battery case for 5 minutes to get an hour of charge. That's amazing! You can sip through two full charges with the battery case. So that means the 2 earphones themselves have 4, plus an extra 8 from the case, giving you a total of 12 hours. This is pretty amazing. I absolutely live the quick-charge feature. There were a lot of complaints in reviews about the connection being unstable to the point where it was unusable, however I did not come across that issue. Mine seemed to hold its connection the entire time, even when I left my phone about and lifted weights within a 40 foot range. It only started to lose its connection when I left my phone upstairs in my room, and went downstairs into the living room that's on ANOTHER FLOOR, plus about a 40 ft distance. That's when the two started going out of sync, but when I moved closer, it sorted itself out. I was really excited for this product, but was also hesitant due to all of the negative reviews about connectivity, but I can happily say that I'm satisfied with this purchase. Since these are my first truly wireless set of buds, I really wanted to love them, and I'm glad that I'm able to love them. These are great for what they're intended to be used for, so I highly recommend them to anyone who is debating on whether or not to get one!
