||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really love these. Only thing that sucks is if your only using one bud u can only use the right. U can't alternate them. Good thing is it don't take long to charge. Charges pretty fast.

Great

Good but not great.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Totally wireless earbuds are fairly new, with that being said, I will start with my Pro's. The design of the charging case is great. It is small, sleek and well designed. The buds are fairly comfortable and lock into your ears pretty well. The sound is pretty good and the Jaybird App allows for complete customization of the sound profile. Phone calls are clear and are broadcast out of the right earbud. The cons are, Bluetooth is not that good, they don't get loud enough and the buds cut out too often.

OK, not great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right off the bat, I had a few issues connecting these to my computer, but I received a quick response from the Jaybird support team, and their fix worked. I had no issues connecting the headphones to my phone. I agree with others about the Jaybird app, it's difficult to connect and stay connected. However, after doing a factory reset to get connected to my computer, I'm wondering if this might be better now. Haven't tried that yet. But I did try running the firmware update that Jaybird put out. My headphones already had the update, so no help there. Sound is pretty good, and they fit well. I don't feel like they're going to fall out whether I'm sitting at my desk or walking around. I can't talk to someone with both headphones in though, everything sounds muffled. I tried using smaller tips and that seemed to help, but still a bit muffled. They also were a bit uncomfortable to wear after a while and I had to give my ears a break! Music plays well, but using the headphones while playing a game on my phone was difficult. There was a delay between the sound and the video, and since it was a musical game, this was a problem. I won't be able to use the headphones for playing games on my phone. I also had a problem using these to answer phone calls. I can hear the caller fine, but they couldn't hear me well at all. That's definitely a pain. I don't want to have to take the headphones out and turn them off every time I get a phone call. Battery life is pretty good for wireless headphones. I'd still prefer it if they lasted a bit longer, but the charging case definitely helps with that. I got through a 9 hour day at work and never ran out of power. Anytime I was away from my desk, I made sure to put the headphones back into the case to charge, and that worked well. Overall, these aren't bad but there's definite room for improvement. For the basics of connecting to your phone and playing music, they get the job done. Beyond that, I think they need some work.

Perfect for workouts
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These might be the perfect set of completely wireless headphones for fitness buffs. I have tried many similar devices in the past but have yet to come across something as satisfying as the Jaybird Run. In the box you will find the documentation, charging case, earbuds, micro USB cable (ugh, I hope USB C or lightning pick up more support), multiple ear bud tips and ear hooks. A nice touch is little carrying pouch. Setup is painless with Bluetooth pairing. Take the earbuds out, put them in your ear, it tells you to select the device in your Bluetooth menu and its gtg! I did not see any NFC support for pairing. My first impression when I loaded some music was that I was a bit disappointed, the sound was just boring with some extra bass. I downloaded the Jay Bird app which comes with an EQ and multiple profiles. I found myself fond of the “signature” profile. Once I selected that the sound was just to my ear’s liking. The bass is has a lot of punch, mids and highs feel somewhat weak to me overall. I did not feel the sound as being very “crisp” either. But, for going to the gym, this sounded better than the vast majority of headphones out there. I would not rate it at the top of audio quality but I would give it a 80/100. Using it in the gym was wonderful, it feels like it isn't even there as long as you have the proper fit. The headset drowns just enough of the ambient sound to get rid of gym noises but also let's just enough in for safety purposes. They are supposed to be water and sweat resistant and I found no issues here so far as I can tell. Battery life is outstanding rated at four hours with about two extra charges stored in the case. This all seemed to be pretty accurate in my testing. The entire time I used them on the gym I had no concern of them falling out of my ear and no pain from their wear. I have dropped the case multiple times in testing with no major damage and still working great. Controls on the device are minimal with only one button on each device. The right one controls the audio while the left one enables Siri or Google Assistant. There is no volume control so you will need to rely on your phone or smartwatch to control this. Also, there is no health monitoring on these such as pedometer or heart rate tracker. If you want a good set of headphones for the gym that are durable, reliable and have good audio quality, these are probably for you. If you want health monitoring and more advanced features I would look elsewhere.

Great fit but terrible performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the Jaybird Runs for a Christmas gift. Initially I thought they were great due to a perfect fit in my ear. But once I started using them the performance was terrible. Constance signal loss was the main problem. After visiting the Jaybird support website I found out it’s a common problem with no resolution. Took them back and got the Bose Sound Sports which are re great.

Sound is just ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is just okay, and the phone just is in the right ear. That's a little annoying, but otherwise it's a good (not great) product. Wired headphones are all I have to compare it to.

Must have earbuds!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For anyone that likes earbuds these simply can't be any better. Setup: Immediately out of the box they were charged ready to go and paired right up with my iPhone. Downloading the Jaybird app enables different audio profiles and keeps the earbuds updated. The sound from these is amazing, the bass is nice and deep and loud (especially with the right profile activated in the app). Because they fit snug the isolate out other sound. Comfort: In terms of comfort right out of the they fit me but come with extra tips so you can get the fit that's just right. Once fit, they stay in well and were overall comfortable for me to wear. I did notice they sweat my ear a little but no more so than other buds that I have. Use: You can wear just one or both depending on what your preference is. Not having any wires at all, is an amazing feeling the first time just because it's so nice to be able to move and not worry about any wires! In using them at first I did notice that sometimes they cut out but i'm not sure if it was the ear buds or the music app I was using and it didn't happen consistently. I'm thinking it was interference from something or it was the app so not really fault of the earbuds. The controls on the buds are easy to access (through long or short taps, right and left ear). Once you get use to the controls it's easy to remember and it's actually easier than trying to remember which buttons do what as you have to worry about on other headphones. They last me all day at work with off and on use. Charging: The included charting case is awesome as it quickly charges the buds twice so you can keep on going. The claim of charging just 5 mins to get an hour listening time is true and works perfect. At the end of the day the case can be charged with a micro USB so you're ready to go. I wish the case charged wireless though (will watch for this in a future version) but that alone wouldn't change my opinion of them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone and especially someone who is looking for something that gives you complete freedom of movement without the worry of cords/wires. Pros: Comfortable fit Nice bass sound Loud volume Fast charging Convenient charging case Perfect small size for the ultimate portability Included app profiles and ability to customize Ease of use Cons: Audio did cut out which might have been due to interference
