Comfortable Wireless Headphones With Good Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Jaybird RUN True Wireless In-Ear Headphones are separate rechargeable bluetooth earbuds that fit comfortably in your ears and sound good but not great. They rest in a pill-shaped carrying case that protects the earbuds and also serves as a charging unit - the earbuds charge inside the case when the case is plugged in - the case also charges and can recharge the earbuds even when the case is no longer plugged in. The fully charged headphones can last up to four hours (theoretically) - then the fully charged case can recharge the headphones twice. The headphones charge quickly so you can extend playing time by up to an hour with just 5-10 minutes of recharging. I found that the earbuds fit very comfortably in my ears right out of the box but they also come with multiple adapters to help make sure they fit in any ear. They are light enough (and balanced enough) that you immediately stop thinking about them in your ears - they stayed motionless in my ears throughout a solid run (they wouldn’t even budge while shaking my head as hard as I could manage). But being lightweight with a solid battery life comes at a cost: the headphones sound good but are limited in volume and bass response. There is a Jaybird app that allows you to customize the equalization of your sound but there is only so much it can do to improve the sound in the headphones. Overall, the sound is very good - but you might be a little disappointed if you’re listening to music with thumping bass or if you’re listening in an environment with a ton of background noise.
