Good earbuds, good quality, sadly not very good sound quality. After 30 minutes of use, these will cause fatigue fast, due to poor sound quality.

Always been a fan of Jaybird, but after these true wireless setup....I'm disappointed! They come with different rubber ear pieces, but not the usual foam which are better to keep sound out. Also these aren't comfortable at all. I felt a lot of discomfort during the gym working out. I also found myself adjusting both sides to try keeping a nice seal. It drove me crazy. I returned them and got the Jabra Active 65t... LOVE THESE!

My only issue was that if you are using only one ear bud the charging needs to still be open. It’s kind of tricky to use one earbud at a time.

These headphones really impressed me. Really! From the ease of pairing with my phone, to the sleek, modern, stylistic shape of the charging pod, to the quality of the headphones themselves. But it was their overall performance which showcased how awesome the design of these Jaybird RUN True Wireless Sport Headphones truly is. First though, the unboxing. As initially stated, pairing the headphones was beyond easy. In fact, the headphones themselves “talk” you through it. There’s also a handy Quick Start Guide with which to read up on all the features. Included in the box is a neat little pouch to store the micro-USB charging cable, along with the various sizes of ear tips and fins provided. That’s the next thing. I’d suggest trying out the different ear tips and fins to find which ones are the most secure, snug and comfortable fit for your particular ear type. It’s important to make sure to choose the “right” one, not only to make sure the headphones stay securely in place, but also, in order to experience the most this device’s sound capabilities have to offer. Something basic, which I particularly liked, was that removing the headphones from the charging pod/carrying case will automatically turn them on, and conversely, reinserting the headphones into the pod/case will turn them off. Plus, they will power down after 30 minutes of not being used if you don’t put them back into their case, which is a great feature as what often happens with other headsets/earbuds I own, I forget to slide the on/off button, which tends to eat up my battery life. Speaking of battery life, when fully charged these headphones provide 4-hours of use (+8 hours with the included charging/carrying case); plus, a short 5-minute charge gets you an hour of play time. Of course, as with many other brands of headphones out there on the market today, there is an App. The Jaybird app is totally worth the download. It truly is an awesome resource to use in conjunction with your JayBird headphones. To make the most of all the customizable features of the Jaybird app, simply sign up using email/Facebook/Google/Spotify so as to create a profile to backup presets, and to view and share music playlists. Through the app you can customize button controls, voice prompts and tones, and if you turn on ‘Find My Buds’ you can track the location of your Jaybird headphones in the event that you misplace them. The controls on the Jaybird headphones themselves are simple to learn. Sound quality, both for listening to music, along with voice calls, was exceptional - clear, crisp, with a depth of sound that fully immersed me in my music without making me feel insulated from any awareness of my surroundings. It was a nice balance, and provided a pleasant experience. After several hours of wearing these Jaybird RUN True Wireless Sport Headphones I still found them super comfortable, and they stayed securely nestled in my ears no matter my activity level. I’d highly recommend these to anyone looking for high quality headphones, most especially people who are sports or fitness enthusiasts.

Bought them October 8 started malfunctioning December. Was sent a replacement earbud then the other earbud malfunctioned. They again sent me a replacement and it doesn’t connect. Then I was told it’s past the 30 days for refund. So now I’m stuck with a product that doesn’t work after just 2 months!! Terrible experience with this company

      Hello Brian,

We are sorry to hear that you're experiencing connectivity issues with your Jaybird Run buds and we'll be glad to help you out! Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.

Here are the instructions to factory reset your right earbud:

-Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.
-With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.
-Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.
-When you hard reset your earbuds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list. You’ll need to forget Jaybird RUN in your phone's Bluetooth device list, repair your earbuds to your Bluetooth device, See How do I pair my Jaybird RUN earbuds? and reselect your favorite preset from the Jaybird app.

You can try re-establishing connection between the left and right earbud using the steps found on this link:

      https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/run-faq.html

Firmware update can also help, you can find the update here:

Jaybird Run Review: Fit Initially when I first tried on the Jaybird Run Headphones the small rubber tabs were not big enough to hold them in my ears properly. I swapped out the "level 1" ear tabs for the "level 2" and I had no other issues with the fitment. The earbuds stayed in while working out and moving around surprisingly well, better than the Jaybird X1's that I replaced them with, this is really good considering that if one falls out there is no wire to catch it from hitting the ground. Ultimately I think that Jaybird hit the nail on the head with their design, after a while you nearly forget that they are in your ears! Sound Initially out of the box without installing the Jaybird app onto my phone the sound was less than ideal. There was less bass and punchiness than I was used to with my X1's and it initially was a concern for me. I grabbed the free app from the Google Play Store and downloaded it to my Pixel, from there I was able to fine tune the EQ to my liking or find a preset that was created by Jaybird or another user. This greatly enhanced the sound and I was able to adjust it to how I liked it to sound. Bluetooth Connectivity The manual recommends keeping your phone on the right side of your body either in your pocket, or an armband. I did not do any of these, my primary use for headphones is during a workout at the gym, so most of the time my phone sits on the ground near me, many times I will walk away from my phone to return or pick up weights sometimes 20-40 ft away. The Jaybird Runs handled this distance extremely well. In the few days I used them before writing this review they did not drop or cut out, even when I walked away to those extended distances. Usability The Jaybird Runs have two buttons on them that are built into lower half the outside of the casing. The left button will que Google Assistant (or Siri if you use an iPhone), which is great for performing commands without taking out your phone. You can speak to the assistant and it will perform the action exactly how it would as if you had opened your phone to use it. I used this feature to turn the volume up and down when I didn't feel like reaching for my phone. The right button will perform a few other different tasks depending on how you press it. A single press of the right button stops or starts the music that you're playing, and will accept a call if you receive one. A quick double press skips to the next song, or declines a call coming in. This did make me miss the volume buttons on my X1's, sometimes you will encounter a louder or quieter song and you need to reach for your phone or talk out loud to yourself to get the sound back to how you like it. Charging and Usage time I normally work out for about two hours straight on any given day, the Jaybird Runs had no problem lasting through my workouts and usually had at least 50% charge left over before I placed them back into the case. The case acts as a charger and is said to hold another 8 hrs of playtime, which should be enough to get me through an entire week of workouts without charging. The case being an additional battery backup is a great idea, I really like it that when I open the case, not only do the buds turn on and connect to my phone immediately, they also are fully charged, allowing me to get through my entire workout without hearing the dreaded "battery low" warning that I would get with my X1's. Packaging and Presentation Jaybird did a great job of packaging the Run headphones, after you slide the back cardboard case from the retail packaging sleeve your met with a magnetically fastened book like opening which encases the charging case with the headphones inside. The minimal all black presentation looks organized and professional, yet simple. There is a small vinyl case that carries a short (about 5 inches) charging cable as well as four more pairs of ear buds and three more pairs of ear fins all different sizes from a size "1" to a "4". Jaybird did very well on the packaging and presentation, only sealed packages are the fins and the extra ear buds. Overall Jaybird produced a solid set of Bluetooth headphones when they designed the Run. They stay in your ears extremely well, have great sound, and have a great presentation out of the box. The price at the time of the review is right at $180 which is pretty standard for a quality set of Bluetooth headphones. I think if you already have a set of wireless Jaybird Headphones and you enjoy them then you will like these ones too, but it may not justify spending the money for the same sound quality just no wires. However if this is your first Jaybird experience than I would say you won't regret it.

      Hi SilkyJohnson,

We are super bummed to hear you are not a fan of the control options with Jaybird RUN. For a better explanation these buds are made to be as simple as possible for your training and running purposes. By having less controls to focus on more performance and being conveniently simple and easy to use. This being said, there are 2 separate control configurations you can change in the Jaybird app maybe check them out so see which you like better. If you have any other questions or concerns please reach out directly to [email protected] and we will make sure you are taken care of. ----------
