Here are the Factory Reset instructions that might help resolve this problem:
To soft reset your earbuds:
-Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.
-Open the charge case and remove your earbud.
To hard reset your earbuds:
-Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.
-With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.
-Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.
-When you hard reset your earbuds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list. You’ll need to forget Jaybird RUN in your phone's Bluetooth device list, repair your earbuds to your Bluetooth device, See How do I pair my Jaybird RUN earbuds? and reselect your favorite preset from the Jaybird app.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike previous generations like the Jaybird X2's these are completely wireless thus causing a handful of new issues. First off if you attempt to watch any videos with these (because no headphone will solely be used for running) the audio will not line up with the overall mouth movements because the control module is within the right bud and in an attempt to sync the two together it slows down the output audio. The app is cool but you will always get a metallic sound from them no matter how much you mess with the configuration settings. The earbuds fit snugly in your ears which in some cases is good but in the long term will most likely begin to hurt. 10/10 wish I had not lost my X2's.

Awesome Sound in a Tiny, Easy to Use Package

I expected them to be at least slightly uncomfortable, and not to have much in the "sound" department. I was wrong. The Jaybird Run wireless headphones are awesome. They are incredibly comfortable, and easy to forget you are even wearing them. When in use, they sound excellent. The sound output can be tweaked using the Jaybird app on your phone as well, something most Bluetooth headsets don't feature. The Jaybird Runs will work for about 4 hours, but the included case is also a charger, which can give you up to an extra 8 hours of use time. The addition of the charging case is a great feature, as it means you can travel with these, and may not need to plug them in at all, depending on the length of your trip. Assuming you have 2 hour workouts or less, these will last for a 6 day trip. I found the default earpieces to be incredibly comfortable, but another nice element is the ranged of earpieces, giving you enouygh flexibility that they are sure to be comfortable for everyone. My favorite feature, which I haven't needed yet (but I'm sure I will), is the ability to locate the earbuds using the Jaybird Run app on your phone. As small as these are, I expect they will be easy to misplace, so I'm glad to have the ability to locate them.

They're not great headphones but they have a nice feature set - different options for fitment, water and sweat proof, decent (but not great) sound and good battery life. However, I experienced bluetooth connectivity issues where the audio would drop off and then kick back in a second for few seconds later. This problem is minor, but annoying. In my opinion, these headphones shouldn't have connectivity issues like this when your phone is probably in your packet or strapped to your arm. In my case, I wear my Apple Watch on my left wrist so it's not optimally placed according to Jaybird. Because the BT receiver is in the right earpiece, apparently the distance between my right ear and left wrist is too much for the Bluetooth to stay connected. I think this is not good for a premier set of headphones like this.
