We bought these for my 16 year old and the only complaint he had was that the ear pieces felt to big. But now that he’s used to it they are fine and the sound quality is great!

I’ve never had wireless ear buds, they are pretty good and have a tight fit. I would recommend them to anybody. Sound is good as well.

These buds sound great and stay put in my ears when running. Love that they don't have cords that bounce around and distract me.

Sound good, not very big in size, can cause ear pain after prolonged use. Don’t fall out easy. Wish had built in noise cancellation.

These earbuds work well. However, they were advertised as being truly waterproof, not just sweat proof. When I opened the package, the insert stated that they were not to be used for swimming, not to be exposed to chlorinated pool water, and not to be exposed to sea water. I guess that means you can wear them in the rain or in the shower without damage. I wear mine while exercising in a swimming pool, where they receive little or no exposure to pool water. I have been happy with them for that purpose. I felt a bit betrayed by the on-line description.

I will start by saying that I was an early adopter of the AirPods and have loved them from day one. My only gripe with them is that they are not waterproof and they do not feel entirely stable in my ears. For those reasons only, I wanted to give the Jaybirds a shot. These headphones are nicely packaged with easy to read instructions. The headphones come in a charge case and paired with my iPhone in seconds. Battery life is very good and I appreciate that the battery percentage shows in the phones shortcuts. I downloaded the Jaybird app so I could customize my experience and have a few things I would like. First, there should be more options and variations for the button controls. Unlike the AirPods, you have to hit a physical button, not just a tap. I would also like more preprogramed EQ settings. It took me awhile to get the EQ setting that I looked. The sound was pretty terrible at the default setting...very tinny, but i have them set now with the low's set high and mid's and high's set very low. The phones come with various ear tips and plastic pieces that hold them in the ear securely. I went with the smallest tip and the plastic piece that came with my pair and they feel great in my ears. Music and Howard sound very nice on Sirius and they were great at the gym. They never moved in my ears and sweat getting on them is not an issue. They work well with the Apple Watch as well so I can change songs and volume there. There is not a way to skip songs on the headphones, very odd. They do not stop playing when taking them out of the ear as well, they have a timer that shuts them down after 30 seconds. There are just things that you get used to with the AirPods and it's hard to get used to anything else. Overall, I like these headphones a lot for my workouts, but they do not compare to the AirPods in both sound, convenience and comfortability. These will be my goto choice for runs, workouts and rainy days.

      Hi Timothy,

We appreciate your positive feedback on the Jaybird Run XT's fit and comfort. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing a connection issue with the left bud and we'll be glad to help you out! Just send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of.

Please observe the buds to further isolate the issue, you can connect the buds to a different device or a device with a different OS. Resets are also recommended, I included both methods:

To soft reset your right earbud:

-Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.
-Open the charge case and remove your earbud.

To hard reset your right earbud:

-Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.
-With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.
-Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.
-When you hard reset your earbuds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list. You’ll need to forget Jaybird RUN in your phone's Bluetooth device list, repair your earbuds to your Bluetooth device, See How do I pair my Jaybird RUN earbuds? and reselect your favorite preset from the Jaybird app.

You can also try re-establishing connection between the left and right earbud using the steps found on this link:

I got them on a one day sale for $59.99 and they are perfect for that price. Fit is snug but not for long periods of use. They stay in well but will cause discomfort over time. You can catch them on sale around 60 to 80 they’re worth it if you don’t plan on using them for long periods of time. Sound quality is good with the app but they don’t compare to the master dynamic MW07 when it comes to sound quality or comfort

This is my second pair. The only downside to this item is that twice now I have had my charging pod develop bent prongs, making you have to reach in there with your fingernail to straighten it before you can recharge your bud. That said, the actual buds work great and stay in year ears while you run, unlike a lot of buds out there marketed toward athletics. Warranty folk at Jaybird are responsive and make the right call when things to go wrong. Overall, I like them.
